This is a BYOW Italian medium size fine dining restaurant. I had my hopes up and was somehow convinced it'd meet my expectations after reading good reviews here and there.
The place itself is good looking, clean, modernish and yet cozy. I made a reservation for 6 and when we arrived at 7, the place was a full house and noisy. No background music or whatsoever for ambiance. We made our own ambiance by talking loud to one another at our table. We had to, because of the all the chatter noises coming from right and left. Romantica sure ;)
Onto the food, they have a short menu ranging from chicken to veal, lamb and some seafood options and pasta. No pizza here.

Prices are what you'd expect at fine dining restaurants. We ordered grilled calamari and beans soup for appetizers. Osso Bucco and veal scallopini for main. The rest at our table had muscles marinara, gnocchi di papa and other variations of their scallopini. Presentation, taste and quality get 2.5/5. My small group agreed with this rating. Their food also were average. My Osso was not a fall off the bone experience, still needed to spend some time in the oven and the sauce was just ok. I had much better of these dishes elsewhere and at comparable grade restaurants. Here, they were not inspiring nor disappointing for the price you pay. They were just, let's say meh. See pictures.
The highlight of the night was the crème brûlée though. It was just splendid. Ordered double espresso to go with that, which was also average and missing crema. Well, at least it was a BYOW so didn't have to spend a small fortune on top of the inflated bill. Pheeww! read more
