A week on Lake Como, to us, means that you go to restaurants where the local residents go.
SO, we ventured up the hill, through the small fields, and even smaller roads, to this little oasis above Colico.
As mentioned in the other reviews, there is no written menu, only the verbal (in Italian) of the dishes of the day.....which are fantastic.
Our party of 7, for my birthday, had Pizzocheri of Valtellina and then Pallenta with beef, veal
and venison. This was preceded by a pickle/vegetable platter, meat platter and cheese platter.
ALL were great and we added a couple of bottles of wine, and the bill came in well under 200 euro.
Highly recommended, but I also recommend driving up there in the daytime or getting a good GPS. Google Maps put us on the wrong road/path in the end. If using Google Maps, at the end of the map/directions, follow the road that looks more traveled and that will bring you up to Trattoria Posallo. Restaurant is on the left.
