To say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. That Mixed fish dish and veggie plate you see was incredible and no joke, about 20 euro. All the food was so amazing, we mostly ate discussing our disbelief in its awesomeness. Made friends with one of the owners who fell in love with our rental car and pointed it out to every person that left while we were chatting. It was pretty awesome. The starter was a mixed salad from the garden, with a main course of mixed home-cooked stews, veal, beef and hirsch, plus a delicious cheese polenta. The selection of home made desserts was impressive, especially the home made jam. We went with two adults and our two boys (6 and 9), and we were all very impressed. There is no choice of menu, only what is served that day, so it is important to be open to trying various cuisines. The staff were very friendly and put up with our very limited Italian (we managed in English and German). Recommend to call beforehand so they know the time you are arriving.

It is like you are in their home and they are cooking just for you. Simply amazing!!! Bread and pasta to start. Followed by two separate meat dishes with a huge helping of polenta made with formage!!! (Ummmmm, Yes please!!). The best part was that the owner comes back after each serving and gives you more. If the meal wasn't scrumptious enough, we enjoyed a huge cantor filled with their homemade vino! Sooooo smooth! (Bottle of water also included) End the meal with a dessert of your choice and we were in Heaven!
