We went through a few of the towns (Bellagio and Varenna) and couldn't find a burger place. We went out tonight looking for a pizza place and the place we went to had closed the kitchen at 9 and told us there was a pizza place one street away and to go through a small alley. We walked by a sign of a 13 euro burger and decided to give it a try. For 13 euros we got a burger with fries and a beer. We asked the owner if we could exchange the beer for a coke and he did. We also asked for 1/2 a four cheese pizza which was amazing and pretty big for only 3.50 euros and the big one was 7. We ate it before we took a pic it. The burger was delicious!! Best burger I have had in a very long time, so good I decided to write my 2nd review because this place deserves to be known.

The cocktails are inventive, elevated, and layered with thought, yet the atmosphere is relaxed and elevated while also unpretentious. Andrea, the owner, is part mad scientist (he has his chemistry set in the front window) and part storyteller. He crafts flavor profiles with house-made natural extracts that feel both novel and perfectly balanced. We had a blast geeking out with him about spirits while Satish and the rest of the team kept the night lively with warm hospitality and a bit of history woven into every pour. The naturally flavored home made welcome apertif and little bites were a charming touch, but the real highlight was realizing this wasn't just a drink, it was a total experience. Tonight's serendipitous nightcap was magical and we'll be back... again and again.

The bruschetta was absolutely incredible and the tomatoes were the freshest I've ever tasted. The pizza had the perfect amount of crunch and flavor And we all really enjoyed the carbonara and lasagna as well. Great wine list to boot! Given the limited options around Menaggio, we ended up eating here almost every dinner of our trip. They also own a very sweet wine shop down the road that is an absolute must visit. The lady who ran it was so warm and welcoming. Our kids wanted to come in every day just to say hello to her! (And we took plenty of olive oil and wine home)
