Parmesan Platter + wine + bread

One of the better meals I've had in Parma! I could see how some people may argue that this is a touristy restaurant but the ambiance was very nice and the service was great. The food was phenomenal and I'd definitely recommend making the stop here! It was also super easy to get a reservation.

Excellent dinner in Parma! We had an excellent dinner at this restaurant specialising in Parma cuisine on the recommendation of a local. The tagliatelle al ragu di strolghino (local pork salami) was very good, but the highlights for us were the trio of tortelli (Parma's version of ravioli), cheesy potato, spinach and ricotta, and pumpkin, and the guancialini di maiale all'aceto balsamico (pig cheeks in balsamic vinegar)! It was so delicious - this is highly recommended!!

An accurate traditional "trattoria". Food was delicious; service was friendly; the ambiance was charming, a bit too kitschy and needed little cleaned up.

Pumpkin, herb, and potato ravioli -- soo good!!!

Def a must if you're in Parma! I got their prosciutto de Parma as an appetizer and it was really really good! It's fairly large so def come hungry. I got the ravioli for my main course. There were 3 of each: pumpkin (the best in my opinion), herbs, and potato. A nice thing about this restaurant is that they're open all day -- whereas most local restaurants close between 2:30-5. Service was great.

All I can say is pork cheeks. OK I'll actually say more. It was cooked in balsamic vinegar for 20 hours and was amazing. For dessert, I had the Susan cake. It is a cheese pie made out of ricotta with a ganache topping. I ate it like a cheesecake and left the shell behind as it was quite thick and hard. Overall pleasant meal and the manager was very friendly. Reservations recommended

The service was amazing and attentive. One of the best I had in Italy. The price is also great. Nestled in the heart of Parma, the interior was beautiful with great ambiance. Every dish we tried was solid. The tiramisu was probably our least favourite as the ladyfingers tasted more like water than espresso. The steak was cooked to perfection for our liking. With the torta fritta one order comes with 5 pieces. We saw locals stuffing it with ham so we did the same. Delicious!

Trattoria dei Corrieri is a super cute and cozy restaurant right in the heart of downtown Parma. It's on a very quiet street giving you the feeling that you've left the hustle and bustle behind you as you enjoy your traditional Italian meal. Parma is overflowing with amazing restuarants and Corrieri is no exception. The interior is super cute and makes you feel like you're inside a small delicatessen while you dine. When you walk in you'll be greeted by a large window where you can observe the chef and cooks preparing their yummy dishes. Tortelli is a pasta unique to the parma region so I started with their tortelli trio which consisted of the square shaped pasta stuffed with pumpkin and parmasan, and potato and parmesan, and finally ricotta and spinach. All three varieties were amazing and the potato (the green noodle in the photo) was amazing! For my main meat entree I went with beef cheeks cooked in balsamic vinegar served with whipped potatoes. Again, very delicious and cooked to tender perfection. I wish I could have tried more dishes as I'm sure everything on the menu is delicious but unfortunately I was on a bit of a time crunch and didn't have time for a lengthy Italian dinner. Next time!

OMG, this is the most adorable and cutest restaurant that is nestled in the middle of downtown Parma. The facade is so beautiful with ask the various colored flower pots hanging in between the windows of the yellow bricked building. The bricks extend into the building where they are not only in the walls but along the architectural ceiling as well. Now to the food... What can I say, the pictures speak for themselves. The bread was delicious, the prosciutto was tasty and the fettuccini Alfredo with ham was savory. To the best part and my favorite dessert in the world, their Tiramisu. The marscapone cheese and lady fingers dipped into fine and exquisite Italian coffee hit the right mix for me. I have to say, this was the best tiramisu I've ever had. If you ever have a chance, make sure you head out to dine here.

We had a lunch there during our stop in Parma. The location is very fancy. A mix of traditional rustical and modern interior which is well combined. We had a plate with mixed local specialities as a starter. I definitely recommend this course. The main courses were a piemont beef steak with parmaggio reggiano which I indeedly recommend and my partner chose homemade tortellini which were very delicious as well. The staff was welcoming and the toilets clean. 5 stars.

If you are ever in Parma, you need to go here., If you are ever driving near Parma, get off the autostrade and check it out. You will of course order a antipasto that will include some prosciutto, some Mortadella, and some fried bread to put it on. You might also get a plate of Parmigiano-Reggiano. You might then move on to your primi. We had a meat filled tortellini dish and a gnocchi with a walnut Gorgonzola sauce. Both were very good. You might then try a secondi. We never made it that far: we were stuffed. I highly recommend this place.

We have traveled all over Northern Italy and this is one of the top places to eat! The service was awesome and the food was amazing (a winning combo!). The culatello was the best I have ever had and the fried puffy bread was unique and super tasty (both are a must!). We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an awesome eating experience when visiting Parma. If you are going for dinner make a reservation (trust me you need it), this place gets full.

Food was good, the service was less than stellar. I wouldn't recommend if you're a tourist.

The restaurant is located in a piazza below the street along with a supermarket. The service was excellent. Our servers could speak English so that helped us. A seating area and a bar are on the piazza. The area was heated. A large grill was also outside with a someone grilling meats. We sat inside at a long communal table. It had an old school Italian trattoria vibe. It was softly lit. We ordered the Lambrusco since it is the local Specialty. We were surprised that it came in a good sized bowl rather than a wine glass We actually thought it was soup lol The Lambrusco is much different in Italy. It has a light effervescence and is well bodied. The Tortellini in beef broth is also a local dish. The broth was Ric with a lot of beef flavor. The tortellini had a beef filling. It was delicious. We had pumpkin and a cheese ravioli. Both were delicious. For the entree I had the beef. It was excellent. It was very tender and had a rich gravy on top of potatoes. The roasted onion and tomato added a delicious flavor.

We pulled into Parma on the way to Milan to fly back to America and I paid to park in a parking garage and now 6 months later I'm getting a ticket in the mail? This is how you treat tourists spending money in your country? That became a very expensive lunch. We enjoyed our experience at the restaurant and would keep the 5 stars, but YOUR CITY ruined it and we will never come back or recommend to our friends to visit PARMA.
