Gabriella - California Roll Burrito

This is no longer Gabriella, I can't remember the name of the restaurant now, but I wanted to try…read moreit since I was already there and the California roll burrito was AMAZING! Really happy I still ate here, but to clarify again this is no longer Gabriella. I want to give the restaurant five stars because they deserve it for food quality, presentation, price and service, but please be aware this is not even close to the menu Gabriella had, it's an entirely different cuisine, but a delicious one! Sehr Lecker!!

Located in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood, Gabriella has a private parking lot right across…read morethe street. The place itself was very easy to find. Right upon entering, I can hear English being spoken flawlessly without any accent. I would even guess that they have an American server. We were greeted and seated quickly. I ordered a small Spezi (combination of Fanta and Cola), and Justin ordered a still water (tap water in this case). We got the cheesy garlic bread to share and I started with the onion soup. For the entrees, we ordered the Rigatoni Gargonzola and the Fettucine Scampetti. The food took a fair amount of time before arriving. I don't mind the wait because we were brought our drinks and our appetizer with soup. The small size of the Spezi soda was way too small so don't make the mistake I made. Just order a large. It also taste exactly like what it is. I would have never thought to mix Cola with Fanta. Their tap water is probably one of the worse tasting water I have ever had. If you're one of those people who could taste huge differences in water, do yourself a favor and order another beverage. They charge either way so just spend your money on something more enjoyable. Cheesy Garlic Bread - Comes with 4 slices. Deliciously cheesy bread. You really can't go wrong when ordering this! Onion Soup - Very well seasoned without being overly salty. A semi-messy dish to eat because the melted cheese is stringy and sticks to everything. Not a cute thing to eat on a date or with people you don't know very well in my opinion. Rigatoni Gargonzola - When I think Gargonzola, I think of cheese in the blue cheese family. It's supposed to be a very strong taste that overpowers a lot of ingredients around it without trying too hard. That's what I was expecting. The taste of the cheese was somehow completely masked in this dish. Although the sauce was quite good, I couldn't tell there was Gargonzola. It was also a much looser and liquidy sauce than I had hoped for and expected with the pieces of sausages being overly cooked and dry. Still a very decent dish none the less. Fettucine Scampetti - Not as cheesy as a regular Alfredo sauce, but the creaminess was definitely there with the lobster flavor shining through. Shrimps were cooked to perfection. This was a very tasty dish I wouldn't mind ordering again. Overall, a lovely place with great ambience and friendly staff. A lot of Americans dine here from what I can tell. A minor thing I felt could have been better is if they provided freshly grated parmesan instead of the ones stuck in a stubborn glass shaker. Other than that, I had quite a lovely dining experience here and would definitely recommend.

I had a lovely time here. Wish could have seen more of the inside, but inside dining was closed…read more The staff was joking and kind but got frustrated really easy when some of the issue was simply communication issues, which is to be expected when it's people that all speak different languages and do their best to understand each other. I enjoy their chat and company. Their food was really good, though celery on bruschetta is new to me, still added a fun crunch and flavor. My pizza was perfect and no one with me complained about their meal. I am happy they made me a drink not on their menu, but to be fair there was 7 of us and two menus so I didn't know mojito wasn't on the menu. Was okay for a non menu drink. The only reason 3 for service was we were second party there and never really got served much. Drinks were not ordered much. Needed up having to do appetizer and meal at same time, the place is good as it is really busy. A little unorganized but I recommend trying it. One out party got chef's choice salmon lasagna and they crushed it. So it must be good. They also periodically get fresh muscles. (I am not a fan of any muscles) but my party crushed them. Recommend trying if near by.

I love the ambiance here especially the private booths. The service is top notch and very inviting…read morewith the staff checking up on you often and at the right time. The food is the perfect proportion and so good. It is off the beaten path and busy but never too busy to seat you.

Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back to try more things. randomly decided to…read morestop here after the other pizza spot we were going to seemed like the service was going to suck which was the best decision ever!! We walked in here it was quiet and all the food was yummy. The garlic bread and bruschetta are round like pizza and def filling and that's an appetizer so we were surprised about that because on top that we ordered pizzas and pasta. Everything we ate was so good I even forgot to take pictures when the pizza and pasta came out! We do next time!!! Great for family or dates or whatever

Been here a few times and haven't regretted it…read more The first two times I came, I got calzones and they were very good. Since, I have gotten pizza and enjoyed it each time. The atmosphere here is very nice for the area. The restaurant is tucked away on one of the edges of the villiage (Outside there is a popular large park and communal area). The workers here are hit or miss, but generally nice and accommodating although I have experienced a female worker being mean to her coworker for making a few errors. Ultimately the female worker's actions made a more negative impression than the male who made errors. All of that said, I have yet to try something from here that I do not like. I have only tried their pizza and calzones so far, but my friends tried schnitzel meals etc and claimed it to be satisfactory. The menu has good variety with pizza, pasta, schnitzel etc. I recommend you definitely come try this place out.
