Before arrival we got a call telling us, they would arrive in 10 minutes. I'm so happy they arrived at the top of the scheduled time! Both men were very professional. The biggest item was my mom's hope chest. I agreed with the pricing and was charged $10 less than expected! All were removed within 25 minutes. Well today my mission was to find a trash removal service for my son's unit. So I googled and came up with this veteran owned trash removal business. I was ecstatic, since I'm a veteran too! Easy peasy, right?. Nope. I spoke with "Scot" and asked him if they did trash removal in Dorchester. I was told by Scot that they weren't doing Boston today. The response from Steve is not good enough. He's saying that if I wasn't happy with the price, I didn't have to move forward. That's the issue, I was quoted a price, your guys came and gave a different price. I needed to have that junk moved that day. Saying I could say "NO" is not honest. If I said NO, then the junk would've been there still and It HAD to go that day. What this shows is lack of accountability and professionalism on the part of the business. The main point, and one that they have never addressed, is that they said 1 number on the phone and said a MUCH, MUCH higher number in person without even looking at the junk. No explanation. We had a shed with its contents in addition to a treadmill and a motorcycle engine in our basement removed today. The 10 x 12 wooden shed was demolished and carried up a steep slope to the truck, along with all its very filthy contents. Jason and Roger were scheduled to be here for 6 hours. They finished in a bit over 2. They also kindly carried several cinder blocks that had been used as a foundation to their next storage place under our deck. To say we are pleased is an understatement. They were not only quick, but courteous and pleasant to have here. We highly recommend them and this company for trash removal. Trash Can Willys was great! I reached out to them to have a small shed removed from behind our house back in June. I had figured that it'd be a few weeks before I could get on the schedule, and was thrilled that they were able to fit me in the very next week. The team was quick, and had that (rather stubborn) thing down in a few hours, and even hauled away the stuff inside it (left by the previous homeowner), and some of the cement blocks that had made up the foundation of the shed. They gave me a quote before adding the extra items, to ensure I knew what the cost difference between the originally discussed items and the additional cement blocks would be before proceeding with taking them out. While working, they were careful of the neighbors' new fence and the side of our house. Given that they were tearing down a ~6ft wide structure that was in a ~7ft wide space between the two, and the shed was built right up against the back of the house, I was very happy that both came away with no knicks or scrapes. read more

I cannot believe you would do something like that! It was bad enough you overcharged but to fake someone else's identity that is ILLEGAL! UPDATE TO REVIEW..... After a quick response from trash can willy's as well as an apology I will update my review to a more fair one. Even though the guys arrived 3 hours late they did get all the items out and did not leave behind a mess. They came, they took. Including what we said was the pile NOT to be removed. We were moving so I had stacked up rubber bins and a large black portfolio case with all my design work within that I had put aside next to the rubber bins and clearly stated was NOT TO BE REMOVED. This was my lifetime's work, culled down to fit into that portfolio case. All gone! Plus they took all the boxes I had purchased for the move. So here we go - boxes can be repurchased, but your lifetime of work - POOF! They are fast and strong, but if you use them, stand next to them and WATCH EVERY SINGLE THING THEY TAKE! The team they sent was was wonderful. There was a maze of 15 years of discarded furniture, empty boxes, old canned goods(yuck) and a tremendous amount random junk needed to be cleared out of a basement. They checked several times with me as to what we were keeping or discarding so we did not have any problems. The price was much less than the national company I had used previously when cleaning out my mother-in-laws house.
