I was very pleased that they didn't charge me anything for it and they got me in and out in less than a half hour. Car is still working fine. I highly recommend this company!

Seriously, the warmest folks ever. Their prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, but it is justified by their quality of work, communication, and kindness. They will inform you of any issues they identify on your car but are not at all pushy about getting the work done there. I'm not religious and was originally worried that I might feel uncomfortable coming here, but it's been nothing but a positive experience all around!

They found what was causing the noise, and also a couple other minor issues, and fixed them with no problems. I called after hours and asked if they could change the transmission fluid while they have it, and the manager (Jim), called back first thing in the morning to let me know they checked the fluid and it looked brand new so it didn't need to be changed. Any other shop would have said they changed changed the fluid and added it to the bill, but they didn't, so they gained my trust right away. They only fixed what needed to be be fixed, and the cost was very reasonable. Since then I've had them replace the clutch and transmission. They did the work quickly and kept me informed throughout the process. There we no surprise costs and the total bill was actually less than what I expected it to be. It's hard to find a shop that you can trust, and does good work at a reasonable cost, so Transmission Doctor is now the first (and likely only) shop I'll call if I have car problems.
