    No morals or integrity. They will break your stuff, hustle your for more money at every corner, sub contractors. Poor customer service. Go anywhere else.

    DO NOT HIRE!!! If there was an option for negative stars I would given them. Worst experience ever. Military family with a lot of experience moving. Communication was terrible. Changed packing and moving dates a week before the scheduled move. Didn't finish the move in the time we were promised and came back 2 days later to finish. Many items were lost or broken. There has been no attempt to resolve the issues. Have called, emailed and text with no response. Tried to get an invoice to get moving costs reimbursed by new job and still nothing. This move is costing now so much more than broken/missing items. Extremely unprofessional.

    Probably the worst service I've experienced thus far. To help my mom relocate from the Seattle area to the Austin area I solicited the help of these guys to move her things. My first clue that this was not going to go smoothly was that the quote changed to a higher rate on site even after providing them with the inventory list of items. We ended up leaving one thing behind so that we could maintain the same pricing. I agreed to the pricing and the items were picked up on 12/27 with a delivery date of 1/4 to Austin. Week after week goes by and we're reaching out for updates only to be told that they are trying to locate a truck and driver. After 1/4 has come and gone we were never given a direct ETA but was told the same thing over and over again. My question regarding this is how do you have a moving company with no available trucks to finish the job??? So here it is 1/29/25 and the delivery finally arrives with my mom's things and the driver is demanding cash payment from my mom. WTH!!! I have funded this whole move and paid deposit as well as an additional 60% of the total cost via debit card and now all of a sudden debit is not acceptable??? My mom had to 3-way call me and the person in charge so that we could figure out the final payment. I ended up using zelle to send the driver the remaining amount (which in my opinion should have been discounted after waiting over a month for our things). Also another question, why are we paying the driver directly, instead of the driver getting the money from the employer??? Cherry on top, they broke my mom's dresser in transit and do you think we're going to get refunded anything??? With the way things have went, I highly doubt it. This whole transaction was very shady and done in poor taste. If you value your items do not use this company. If I could I would give negative stars for the stress, worry and pathetic communication experienced here.

    I'd suggest hiring this company, if you like damaged, stolen, and missing item's! Hirer them for a Massachusetts from Houston delivery, WHAT A NIGHTMARE company to deal with! One star doesn't do their lack of professionalism, courtesy, honesty, and truthfulness any justice! They should be ranked with a minimum of negative 3 stars! Thieves! Stole a valuable collection that "wasn't allowed to be shipped" One, NOBODY told us that, two, how would you know what was in the box, unless you went through it, and three, where did the box go? No sensible answers regarding my three points on where my collection is! Absolutely a clown show, embarrassing excuse for a "moving company"!! Under NO circumstances would I recommend this sorry company! I'll be back Monday for another round of complaints! Guaranteed!!!!

    DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! Our first cross country move and it was the worst experience! Transit Moving Systems promised more than I believe they are capable of providing to their customers. In the beginning our sales person John was great. He was diligent to provide me as accurate of a quote as he could and locked in a price promising a dedicated 26' truck to ship our possessions. All was good until a few days before our pick up date. After that it was all down hill leading up to our possessions finally arriving later than originally expected. Here are the issues - Pick up date not being confirmed until days before and them wanting to come a day earlier; when would not have been ready. - Packing crew arriving 6 hours late - Packing crew did not have a company truck (Enterprise rental) which meant there were no marks inside for us to verify the true cubic volume our possessions took up in the truck - Our foreman arrived an hour after the loading crew, left with promise to return later which he did not. - Loading crew were nice, but communication was difficult because none spoke English well enough to understand simple requests that items be wrapped better as they were antiques... THIS LEAD TO DAMAGE!! - Loading took until 1am!!! - Our possessions went back to their warehouse where they sat for over a week to get loaded onto a different truck. Not what the sales person had originally promised. - No real communication from Transit on when our stuff would actually ship. We did receive calls every few days saying our stuff was stored and safe. WHICH IT ACTUALLY WAS NOT SAFE CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE AND CRUSHED BOXES! - Finally got confirmation our items were on the road. They did make good time crossing the country, but day of delivery the driver refused to pull up to the house because of small tree limbs. His parked location was on the corner one house away and then wanted to charge us for the extra distance. He also had conflicting contract information on the amount that would be charged for the extra distance. - As they brought our items up we started seeing many crushed boxes. We ended up with about 40% of our boxes either crushed or straight torn open. Several antique furniture pieces were broken, our couch had two tears in it and in the crushed boxes WHICH WERE LABELLED FRAGILE AND HAD RED TAPE, were broken and irreplaceable glass items. - Boxes being brought in were once again stacked in a manner in which an already crushed box would get more crushed! - They were to have rebuilt anything that they took apart and when he went to start one bed frame was missing fasteners and he said he would do it for liability. At that point I was so angry that I told him to leave and we would deal with it. All said and done I waited a day to calm down and emailed our sales person about what happened and specifically requested contact information to get this addressed. He has not responded and it has been two weeks. I received a call two days after delivery from customer service and they had no idea what had happened. Which means the sales person did not forward our email and the delivery driver also did not report the damages. The customer service rep said they were escalating this to upper management and someone would reach out. We now sit two weeks later and I have not heard a peep. At this point I have filed a claim and am going to dig in to find more contact information within their company. We did not get one or two items with accidental damage. We got our possessions smashed. The amount of damage indicates pure negligence on Transit Moving Systems and their delivery driver.

    Transit Moving gave me quotes within minutes of me requesting one. A ton of people messaged me with their estimate of how much the cost would be, and they were all super flexible with their hours and dates. I ended up choosing the cheapest one, which was around $80. I mostly needed help with moving large items, such as couches, a fridge, bed frames, etc. I was moving from a 3 story home to a single story one, and the staff and movers were amazing. Everyone was super nice, and they acted more like my friends than people I hired to help me move. Would totally recommend for your moving purposes!

We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

During my recent move, I decided to give them my repeat business. Huge mistake. You get what you pay for. They quoted $110 per hour plus $70 admin fee, minimum 2 hours. That was fine. However, when they showed up, they advised that they charge $15 per roll for shrink wrap. I was in agreement with using the shrink wrap and blankets but they advised they were not sure how many rolls they would use. Then it was changed to 3 rolls. I've used movers in the past and they have always included shrink wrap and blankets in their pricing. However, I've also seen how the shrink wrap is used and 3 rolls is grossly overestimated. I've included a picture of the shrink wrap roll for reference. After signing for them to start the job, a never ending agreement about the number of shrink wrap rolls they would use, and the clock already ticking, I agreed for them to move forward with the additional $45 scam. Instead, they went outside, spoke amongst themselves and someone on the phone and advised that they would not be completing the job and left. I called the primary phone number and spoke with the owner who advised me that I should have accepted the scam pricing from the beginning and then disconnected the phone call. Cancelling a job because you don't want to be called out for overcharging for shrink wrap that should be included in your job is ridiculous. Moving is stressful. To walk out on someone during a time like that is not someone that deserves your business. The bright side is that I had another moving company's card on my door. I contacted them and they were available in the late afternoon. They ended up coming a few hours earlier. The price included the shrink wrap and blankets. They completed a HUGE job in 2.5 hours. I paid more per hour and tipped the 3 movers well. The fact that Astros Moving Company attempted to ruin my day over $45 is ridiculous. They would have made much more than that in tips and repeat business. Edit as of 05/09/25. In response to the owner. I NEVER advised them that I did not have the money to pay the ridiculous $45 for three rolls that were clearly not going to be used. After agreeing to disagree, I actually advised them to move forward. They chose to walk away instead. Not only did I pay more than the $45 with the other moving company, I tipped them generously. In business, some things are about the principle, not the money.
