You send out what I can only imagine was a mass email saying that the practice is closed, and it is in fact alive and well. If there was something he was deciding not to treat anymore for some reason, why not just inform your patients of that? Why lie and say that the practice has closed? I have copied and pasted what was sent to me in August of last year for your review. I would caution anyone thinking of going to this person for treatment. He will make you think there's hope and that he is this cutting edge provider on the verge of something epic, and then he may send you this: Greetings, Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Neuro Well is closing down for business. For those individuals with an appointment scheduled today, you will receive a "Care Call" from Dr. Seifan in place of your office visit. All patients will have thirty days to find another physician and Dr. Seifan will provide follow-up patients with a three month supply of medication. Patients who have just commenced the Neuro Well process will have the initial visit with Dr. Seifan and will be provided recommendations for the patient and their alternative physician, as well as receive a three month supply of medication. Continued Care will only be offered for Medicare patients. Therapy and miscellaneous services will still be offered for all. He took me on blindly and despite much adversity in my care, he has continued to manage me well. The best line from any doctor ever regarding my migraines was when I told him I was averaging one real headache a week over the summer of humidity hell. He switched up my meds. He said "My patients don't get headaches. My patients are allowed to live in S. Florida". I was really taken aback--aside from the tongue in cheek of it, one headache a week for a real sufferer is acceptable!!! But not to him. I find the practice to be so accommodating and really care and try to work with you on every level and every member of the team is part of that joint goal. My experience with them came after having suffered a severe stroke and needing help coping with the ramifications of suddenly becoming handicapped. Thank goodness Sunserve was there to help. They assigned me an excellent counselor who stayed with me for several months until I was emotionally and physically well enough to go it back on my own. Sunserve has multiple numbers of services. They are basically broken down as to those applicable to youth, transgender people, women's service, mental health and counseling, housing management and assistance, parent support, senior daycare, and LGBTQ proficiency on a fee-for-service basis to businesses. Each of those categories of offerings, however, contains various subcategories of services. For example, within the youth services, there are organizational offerings of events such as Thanksgiving dinner parties, movie nights, sleepovers, ice cream socials, etc. And, they also have organized groups such as a bereavement group, a gay male empowerment group, and many more. The staff of Sunserve is made up of those professionally qualified in the nature of the services they offer or attend to, and with a budget of around two million dollars a year, Sunserve is much bigger and much more highly active than many may think. There is so much to Sunserve I can't cover it or do it justice in a simple Yelp review, but if you're interested or in need, stop by their offices. I can assure you that you will be warmly received. The collaborative group therapy here was excellent. There was the occasional dud of a facilitator, but they were few and far between in the six months I was going there regularly.
