We got out of there with the worst butcher job ever. Nothing like the picture, and just a terrible haircut altogether. It's so uneven and choppy. My son did not move. He was not wiggly. Wouldn't take your boys here if you want anything other than a really short style. My husband and I are devastated. I have contacted the salon and am waiting on a call back from the manager. Update: the manager called me and after seeing pictures offered to give me a refund and "texturize" the hair so it isn't so blunt. We booked the kids first hair cut and my kiddo watched the kid before her get a whole production with a gift bag and printed picture (which is what was included in ours as well). We not only were seated 15 min late but no one really seemed to know how to print the picture. I had to ask for her gift bag which has been left laying on the back counter by the receptionist who seemed more focused on talking to her friends then making sure we were taken care of Seems if there was a little more priority in consistency and customer serve it would be easier to justify a $30 10 minute kids hair cut. Our stylist gave us a cute braid which was nice. They have iPads at each seat which keeps kiddos occupied.

I love that they offer Bluey on the individual TVs (my son's favorite) and lollipops for distraction. We never feel rushed but they are quite prompt and easy. Shauna used to do his hair and with scheduling differences, Stephanie took over and we have been very pleased and impressed. She does such a great job and listens to what we want. As we're waiting, I look over and see what looked like an 11- or 12-year-old getting a haircut. Fair enough. Then I scan the room a little more... And there, sitting in a race car haircut chair designed for children, was a fully grown man. I'm talking mortgage-paying, tax-filing, probably-has-a-401(k) grown man. I received The Benchmark service and I would describe it as the last word in a luxury haircut experience. First Stephany asked me how I like my hair done, then she suggested some options for styling it that I had not considered before. I quite liked her suggestions and took them. She was gentle but firm while she cut my difficult, curly hair and trimmed my beard, and I could tell she was taking her time to do the best possible job. After the trim part, she took me to a quiet back salon room where she dipped my hands in paraffin wax, then began the scalp massage and hot towel treatment. I had never experienced a paraffin-wax dip and the wax felt strange at first, but as a chef and frequent hand-washer I don't think my hands have been hydrated like that in years. The treatment that followed included a face massage, a hot towel wrapped around my face, a pleasant eucalyptus aromatherapy, a shampooing and a scalp massage, then she removed the wax from my hands and gave me a hand massage. I am happy to say that Stephany brought the same careful attention to detail to each of the services, and was both responsive and informative when it came to the styling that followed. She even helped me understand what I have so far been doing wrong in caring for my beard and made some wonderful suggestions to improve my beard's health! In summary, I do not believe I have experienced relaxation quite like I did at The Boardroom, and would recommend Stephany to anyone who might be interested in elevating a haircut experience. She was knowledgeable, professional, great at small talk, and I will be visiting again soon to request her services!
