The only…read morereason I didn't return to the next-day Molecular Matrix Diagnostics in West Sacramento was that I needed a later appointment time than their available hours/slots and the Walgreens was more convenient to home. Provided the requisition number, I logged into the Aegis Labs patient portal on 11/6 and 11/7 and both times it said that my sample # "has not been received at our laboratory" followed by statements: -Samples are typically shipped via overnight delivery to the laboratory. -Shipping delays and weekend shipping schedules may delay receipt in the laboratory. -Sat/Sun collections are most likely to be delayed beyond next-day delivery. -Please allow for transit time and check back later or verify the requisition number. -Samples received greater than 30 days ago are no longer available on this portal. Finally around 4:00AM on Monday 11/8 I receive the email from Walgreens/PWNHealth with the results attached (negative). Funny, even on the final report there is no date entered for when the sample was received, only the collection date and results reported date. Oh well. I understand transit time doesn't count for turnaround, but it would've been nice if at least I could see that it was received, tracking and being processed, test status updates. According to their website their target turnaround is 24 hours or less from the time sample is received.

Cory (Corey?), the tech, and Elliot, the NP, are 15/10 stars. My shoulder injections were pain-free. The freeze-y spray was the "worst" part but necessary because I didn't even feel the push of medicine. We talked about the medicine and I asked if I could switch last minute and they accommodated the request, without any issue or attitude. I've seen my fair share of providers due to 27 years of autoimmune issues and the sighs I've encountered, outside of SJRI, when asking a question, are incredibly frustrating. My SO was getting a series of knee injections and was taken care of by another person last week. The previous provider communicated with Elliot that the injection site needed to be in a different spot and Elliot immediately brought it up. Again, the amount of providers that think they know better or don't read the message, are exhausting. We don't want to be pin cushions, gosh darn it! These guys are a MODEL of how a visit should go. Seriously, their methods should be studied. I don't know who's in charge of hiring providers but they're straight up killing it. In addition to being on top of their stuff they're both extremely kind and professional!! I'm changing my 15 to 20, 20/5 stars! PS, We adore Dr. Willis, Dr. Hodrick, and Allie. I have to call these doctors repeatedly to find out where my blood work is and I am lucky to get to get blood work once a month. I've tried to correct this for months and they have left me in limbo. We have no family in town, our children are out of school, so we brought our children to sit in the waiting area with their iPads and headphones. We were informed on arrival that the kids would need to sit in the waiting area during our scans. Then, after 30 minutes waiting in the waiting area (with our children making no noise at all), we were informed that Craft would not perform our scans with our children present due to their "policy". No attempt at any accommodation for us as working parents was made. I expect that only one of us could be in the CT at a time while the other parent could sit with our children if it was such an issue. Neither their website nor their multiple email reminders stated anything regarding a "policy" of not bringing children. I expect this "policy" was made up on the spot as we would not be able to give Craft our full attention during their forthcoming high-pressure sales pitch. We will go to premier radiology for the same scans. Avoid this deceptive business at all costs. They clearly don't care about the health of working couples with children.
