The staff is amazing, they love the children. It is the administration that is going to be the fall…read moreof MacDonald Montessori. Staff that have been there for years, almost decades, are fleeting fast because of how they are treated by administration. Here they do not care for their staff and push their staff over the limit and turn around and say it is staff's fault for administration falling short. The turn-over rate is concerning to the point your child could have a new teacher every 1-2 weeks. When they are understaffed it is on administration to help in the classroom. When they do they are rough physically and verbally with the children. Snatch things from them, yell and ostracize the ones that "are too difficult." Which is concerning considering administration doesn't spend much time with the children as is. They only care about money and aesthetic and not feeding into the children. Do not send your child here, please.

We've had a kid in the summer swim sessions (there are three sessions a summer) the past three years. I love it because the teachers are great (I assume they are St. Kate's swim team members), its well organized, the facilities are nice, and the kids learn a ton because they go every day for 2 or 3 weeks rather than once a week for eight to ten weeks, which is what most swim lessons are like. It seems like the learning is stronger with the every day method. I've continued to be extremely pleased with the program, and plan to continue to have a kid as a participant for many summers to come!

She didn't give me option to take tests with class she forced me to do away from them. She even raised her voice and said come back at 1:00pm I don't want you in here while other students were testing. There were other times so I withdraw from her class reported to the dean. With my other classes I got 4 A's and then they put me on academic suspension and financial aid suspension. For reporting a disrespectful teacher. Lastly food from grill made me very sick. If you're disabled be careful and don't be afraid to report but beware of the consequences for doing it. Like I got. Ps I was going to go far but they stop me from doing it.

If you are like me and feel like math is just something that you'll never "get", it is time to give Danielle a call. From the first time you meet with Danielle, it will be clear to you that you are not in for the usual math learning experience. She is cool, laid back and has a great sense of humor, which means everything to someone like me with major math anxiety. Furthermore, you will NEVER feel stupid working with Danielle; She is the poster child of patience, laughing it off, trying to explain it another way and helping you work through whatever mental roadblock you're hitting. If you had told me a few months ago that I would actually look FORWARD to learning math, I just couldn't have believed it, because I never even thought learning math was something I was capable of. But now? Working through problems all by myself while Danielle watches on and silently nods in approval. Getting 100% on EVERY homework assignment. No joke. Danielle has literally worked miracles for me. Oh, and did I mention how ridiculously affordable her services are? When I began searching for tutors, I was getting quotes in the $55-$65/hour range, and I actually contemplated it because, well, more money means they must be REALLY awesome, right? Don't be a sucker- Danielle is the best bang for your buck. I could go on forever singing her praises, because frankly, she deserves it and I just don't know where I would be without her. Actually, I do know- probably homeless under a bridge somewhere because I decided I would just never finish college because of the stupid math requirement. But seriously. If you, your kids, your brother or your dog* are looking for a math tutor, your search can just stop here. *She might not actually be able to tutor a dog. But really, how is your dog in school anyway?

In our age of increasing globalization, we believe that fluency in a second language is invaluable and that it is never too early for our kids to start developing their multilingual skills. In fact, our capacity to learn new languages lessens as we age. As such, we aim to serve a niche that is often ignored--younger foreign language learners--because they have incredible potential to gain fluency and are preparing to enter a world in which doing so is more critical than ever.
