They didn't want to do anything till we said we were not going to renew our lease. Then that day they sent someone to spray where the ants were. We asked to be let out of our lease due to this issue and they declined it. Well now the carpenter ants have moved to our bedroom and are coming from under the floorboards and on the walls. Below are pictures of my son's bites and the video of the ants and damage done already. Just be warned they only put bandaids on things and almost never fix anything till you threaten legal or say you aren't renewing the lease.

Wellington Apartments I could hear my neighbors just about anytime they were moving & half a dozen of my neighbors or so LOVED to let their stupid dogs bark all through the NIGHT!!!! Arg!! I do not care for dogs like some, so this was a HUGE negative. Desert Shadows Apartments I have lived here once before, loved it both times!! Carpet is worn looking & some other things are not in the best condition. But it is not bad & it is mold free, flood free, & very reasonably, & I do not hear my neighbors EVER!! Oh, and, the AC works well & it is well insulated with washer/dryer hook ups!! I live on the bottom floor. They are remodeling the parking lot for more space right now, almost done!! It is looking good!!!! But now I am moving out. Lol Anytime I have had any major issues they took care of them promptly!

They even went above Texas law and wrote into their lease that they can take back your unit for whatever reason they like, even unnecessary cosmetic renovations. They harassed me about moving into a unit almost $300 more a month in person and over the phone. I had to find an attorney for myself, and they kept changing their notice deadlines, until finally they terminated my lease in January. Originally, my move out date was March 6th, but they went ahead and changed it to March 1st without notifying me. And then, they charged me extra days of rent in my security deposit after I moved out, and had to fix it 4 times before they finally got it right. And then, they wrote out the check wrong, making it to where I can't deposit it. Manager and employees have been extremely passive aggressive throughout the entire ordeal. Not to mention the massive roach infestation throughout the complex that was not taken care of, the entire 6-7 months I lived there. Anything that needed to be down, I had to email/call multiple times to get fixed. I definitely do not recommend living here

We use kitchen chairs that have casters I called Aladdins and a female representative responded to our home looked at the damage took photos and she said she would look into the damage and get back to us. She never did. I called again and was told nothing could be done due to warranty which states the flooring is not warranted if casters on chairs are used. We had a contractor repair the damaged area, we still use the same chairs as before and no more damage has happened. Prior to noticing the damage I noted that the area damaged looked at though the flooring was rising at the joints and then began peeling at the joints. We wish we had not done any business with Aladdin's because of no response to our complaint.

We lived at the Quadrangle Apartments for 8 months and it was a very negative experience for us…read more You are better off paying a little more in rent than the headache of living at the Quadrangle. We have rented a lot of apartments in our time due to moving around for work and we have never experienced this type of nightmare. We searched online and rented this place sight unseen (big mistake, but we were moving from across the country). We sent our deposit and received confirmation the week before our move.. Our movers were all set for the agreed upon date so we called the Quadrangle the day before and the new manager did not have our paperwork and did not know who we were. He told us to come look at the 2 available units that day. We got there and both units had major issues, but one would be available in a day or two. We still waited over a week to move in while having already paid rent (we were now paying for a hotel and to store our furniture). We moved in and it took over a month to get a response to issues that were supposed to be taken care of before we moved in. We had to fix many things ourselves as the complex did not respond to maintenance issues like when our kitchen sink backed up. We went through 4 different property managers while we were there and we were not sure who to pay rent to at one point. The pool was not clean while we were there so it was not usable. The complex advertised Internet included with rent, but we had to pay for our own. Most of the neighbors had moved out due to all the issues there and the few people moving in were a bit sketchy. To be fair- the property manager when we left seemed to be doing a good job at trying to turn things around. We also received our full security deposit back. We liked having a designated parking spot and a balcony. The location is also really nice. Overall, there seemed to be so much turnover and miscommunication that it was not a positive experience. We would not recommend living here and we were relieved when we left.

I turned in my key early when I paid our prorated rent for the month, but my husband still had his and the mail key. Today, we stopped by to check the mail and do a walk-thru to make sure we hadn't forgotten anything. Well, we scared the crap out of a couple who'd moved in either yesterday or today!!! We asked them if they lived there now and told them we still had a lease for the next few days. They were pretty shocked and we were irate. I cannot believe how this place is run. And for the record, they're now on the 6th apartment manager in the last three months. Also, bugs and lizards are pretty much an everyday problem and sketchy people seem to move in daily. I'm thankful we got out when we did and I've made it my mission to let people know how awful this place is! For the love of all other things rentable, don't sign a lease here! You never know who might still have a lease on your unit (not to mention keys!).

Toilets weren't cleaned, surfaces were grimy, and some of the furniture was literally held together with duct tape. The apartments desperately need updates, but instead of addressing issues, management ignores them. The overall property isn't maintained either. * The security gate never worked once in the two years my son lived there. * The pool was closed more than it was open. * The trash compactor has been broken for months, so they dragged in large dumpsters and left them outside the trash area--an eyesore and a sanitation issue. Move‑out was even worse. The billing was inaccurate and misleading. They attempted to charge again for June rent that had already been paid in full. And despite the lease ending mid‑month, they refused to prorate July rent and billed for the entire month. They also have no intention of returning deposits--so whatever you put down, don't expect to get it back. What makes this even more frustrating is that they cater heavily to college students, yet they only offer 12‑month leases. Students are there for 10 months, but no 10‑month lease option exists. They know this, and they take advantage of it. Even after providing documentation and clearly outlining the errors, management refused to correct anything. Issues were dismissed, not resolved. This complex is simply not worth the money you pay. The living conditions are substandard, the amenities rarely function, and the management practices are careless at best and predatory at worst. If you do rent here, protect yourself: take detailed photos at move‑in, keep every receipt, save every email, and be prepared to challenge your charges when you leave.
