My husband is a musician who does lots of gig/freelance work and we wanted to get professional eyes on our taxes as our situation has become more complex. We had an intro call with Sandy who assured us she could help with our situation. We then decided to take the next step and provided all of our documents within their portal on March 3rd. After submitting we heard nothing back from them for weeks and so we called towards the end of the month to check in. When we did this they only then started asking us for additional documents and wanted us to reformat all profits and losses within their specific document formats despite us already providing these 4 weeks prior in our own format. We asked them if they could just use our existing documents and they said that would be an additional bookkeeper service of $300. At this point we were very frustrated that they took an entire month to tell us all of this after we submitted initial documents. We ended up filing with an alternative.

I loved working here, it was a blast! I worked on the Hillary Clinton campaign back in 2016, and…read moreit was great! We warned people about Donald Trump and what he would do to America - and we were right! During the month of August 2016, it was so easy to get people to donate to Hillary - I had one guy donate $500, and this was after he had already donated $1,000 earlier that morning... This is a great first fundraising job, totally on the level, and is good for those pursuing a career in acting or film production, since they will work with you and your schedule. So if you have an audition, no problem...just go to the audition and make up the time another day. If they let you go (which happens fairly often, for whatever reason), they will give you your final, hand written check on the spot. You would see the dazed former employee walking out the door, holding a green check and muttering to themselves...calls are monitored, so if you pull any shady stuff, out you go! Anyway, I look back on my time here with fondness. Give 'em a try - what do you have to lose?
