I hired them in May to help me get my refund from the IRS that has been delayed because of IDme. I may as well have set that $1500 on fire, I would have the same result. First, the only time they answer the phone is if you are hiring them. Once they have your money, you have to make an online appointment (at least a week out) just to get a phone call from them. Second, they will have many many excuses. After being told that it would take only 6 weeks, I am in third month of any day now. Third, when I do manage to get someone on the phone, their biggest concern is the review that I left, not in fixing the problem that caused the review in the first place. read more

It makes me sick to hear people I respect, day after day as I listen to War Room, pitching Tax Network USA, which I know to be a boiler room scam. This company asked us for a $2,100 payment in advance, in July 2024, to negotiate with the IRS on our behalf. As of this date (December 1, 2025) they haven't even managed to provide a transcript showing how much we owe and for what. IRS has resumed collection activity. TNUSA stalled and played us along for a year and a half; they're no longer even responding to our emails. Steve Bannon helped this outfit swindle me out of $2,100, so every time I hear him touting them I grind my teeth in frustration. Do not trust this company. They took $40k of our money & we received zero benefit from them. Their office is very chaotic & there seems to be no review process within the company. We were assigned to many case managers & documents were lost. Luckily, I saved my emails. Adding insult to injury, their customer service department is very rude - the credit manager once screamed at me & a rep even told me they had more important clients to talk to. After they charged our credit cards, they ignored my calls & emails requesting for updates. Feeling so frustrated, I contacted an outside EA to review returns prepared by TN so far. His findings: TNUSA was wrong to amend our joint returns to MFS because the IRS only allows this by the original due date. TNUSA also stated we should file under our Trust. This again was wrong because we could just include expenses in Schedule 1 of Form 1040. TN deceived us so that they could squeeze more money from us. TN prepared amended returns that were totally useless & would be rejected by the IRS. We really held high hopes that TNUSA could help us get our tax affairs in order due to our age (90's & 70's) and health issues. Instead, we ended up with $40k on our credit cards & a total distrust for this company that exploited us with their scare tactics, deceptive practices & apathy towards us. read more

This company is ALL talk. They get you to spend $5k to file back taxes and promise you they will fight for you for any fees and penalties. Then come back and ask for 5k more to use the attorney side of things. After hiring them and spending 10k we still got garnished and they won't communicate with you . You have to constantly call them and schedule an appointment with a case manager. You NEVER get to talk to an attorney personally. It's all thru a case manager that is a basic employee that just takes call from us the customer and say they need to talk to the other department to get any answers... it's a SCAM !!!! My current case manager Phillip Parker is ghosting me after the California Franchise Tax Board just cleared my entire bank account. I have left him several voicemails after he promised me a legal team member would call me, but it has been crickets. I am starting a new job next week and have no idea what account to even enter into their paycheck system because I'm afraid the government is going to take any money I put in there. I'm scared, desperate and so disappointed in this company stringing my case along for two years now. Then scared me with the Biden administration that i was going to have $15k in late/interest fees with the IRS to get me to sign to pay them $7000 more @ $3,500 per year and i need 2 years back taxes done. I hired them early 2024. We are halfway through 2025, taxes are still not finished. My husband was just diagnosed with cancer and to get the disability those 2 years MUST be filed. The jury is still out on their services. They managed to file one year of back taxes for 20xx at a reasonable cost of $600. They were patient as I gathered my data and made necessary edits. However, I was handed over to multiple case managers throughout the process, which led to some confusion and inconsistency. Issues Encountered: The problems began when Form 843 wasn't filed on time. I ended up writing the letter myself (they told me I had to write it), and they merely moved a few words around before submitting it (As of the date of this review it's still not submitted to the IRS even though they had my copy on December 21). All documents need to be mailed back to them with wet ink signatures, so ensure you have a tracking number; otherwise, your paperwork might sit in their mailroom for days or weeks before being opened Or directed to the correct party. They informed me that I needed to pay $20K in taxes immediately, of which $5.6K was a penalty. I contacted IRS collections myself and requested a temporary delay in the collection process, which Taxnetwork never offered to do. I also explained to the IRS that they should be getting form 843 at some point from the firm. The case manager often spoke condescendingly in emails, insisting that the payment had to be made immediately and provided no alternative options or suggestions. Sort of like I was a criminal and I deserve this treatment. Overall Experience: In hindsight, I could have resolved this on my own and regret paying $1200 for them to use my letter. I didn't appreciate being treated poorly, especially given my high level of education (six degrees, including one from an Ivy League institution). Fortunately, I had the ability to handle the collections on my own, but I'm not sure if everyone would have the foresight to do so. Suggestions for Improvement: Ensure timely filing of all necessary forms. Improve communication and consistency among case managers. Offer alternative options and suggestions to clients. Buyer beware: I wish I had looked at all the terrible reviews before enlisting their services. I had a $6400 IRS debt and was told that they could save me $1500 if I signed up with them. So I paid them the $1K because the $500 savings was worth it to me at the time. Over a year later, they put me on a payment plan (which I could have done on my own for free) but they were supposed to submit a request for abatement of both penalties and interest. They only got the penalties removed at $375. They stopped responding to my emails and gave me the runaround. Absolute waste of money. read more

I initially contacted Tax Network USA as a potential client based on their recommendation by Daily Wire. I spoke briefly with James Gregory on December 19th at 10:40am. I was at work and unable to do the initial consultation call at that time. James informed me that he would be out of the office through the end of the year, so we scheduled a call for January 6th between 5-5:30pm, after I had explained that I have a varaible work schedule and couldn't ensure that I would be available until after 5pm. James called at 2:25pm, 3:42pm, and 3:58pm, and again at 3:08pm on January 7th in addition to sending an email both days. We spoke briefly at 12:50pm on January 9th and scheduled a call for the following Monday, January 13th. During our 12 minute call, he gave vague answers to my questions and said that more would be explained after I paid the $7500 retainer. I told him that I needed to discuss the details with my wife and father who would be helping me secure representation as well as another firm I had also spoken to while I was waiting to connect with James, and that I would contact him Tuesday or Wednesday with my final decision. On Wednesday, January 15th at 4:13pm, he left me a rude voicemail, saying that he was going to "give up on me." I sent James a text message the following afternoon letting him know that I did not appreciate his communication and that I was no longer interested in becoming their customer. He proceeded to accuse and insult me because of my decision not to hire him, saying that this "is exactly why I'm in the position I'm in," "Good luck, I'll need it," and that I "just make excuses." He even sent an email afterwards with the same sentiments. I feel this was an entirely unwarranted and unprofessional way to treat a potential customer, and was a far cry from the experience that I had while shopping other firms. I'm thankful that this happened before I paid the retainer. If this is how they treat potential customers, I can only imagine how I would have been treated once they had been paid. read more

I'm leaving this review to warn others based on my personal experience with Tax Network USA. One word: RUN!!! I paid $2,800 for tax resolution services, that were never actually performed. Go figure! Despite submitting all the documents I had, I later found out directly from the IRS that I was ineligible for the OIC because my 2023 return hadn't been accepted electronically by them. So I was in non compliant status and IRS would not negotiate with me AT ALL . Tax Network USA never told me this, despite having POA on my account. Instead, TN gave the impression everything was moving forward. They even had the GALL to ask me for a down payment of $1400 to negotiate a $7k OIC with IRS. Who was this to be negotiated with since I was in non-compliant status? TNA knew that OIC would be rejected without fail. And I was to pay the down payment by check to THEM! I thought I hired you to pay the IRS not yourself! Don't let these people play in your face!!! They claimed that a collection hold was placed on my account at 11:45 PM PST by them-- Who did they speak to at @ IRS @ 11:45 PM? Who else didn't know IRS was open at that hour? When I contacted the IRS myself, they confirmed no contact had EVER been made on my behalf. Even worse, when I revoked my Power of Attorney and asked for a refund, the company sent me a "Mutual Release" agreement. It stated they would ONLY revoke the POA if I signed a document waiving my right to a refund,( nope I work hard for my money, it is much needed) agreeing not to leave bad reviews , and releasing them from all liability. (IKYL!)That felt coercive and unethical. First of all, it sounds downright illegal, and secondly I'm not signing anything with anyone who told me they spoke to IRS at nearly midnight to stop collections! That is the ONLY way to stop collections , by DIRECT CONTACT. They had me COMPLETLEY messed up. Then they tried to send me that same agreement AGAIN... You didn't get the memo the 1st time? They had no clue who they sent that nonsense to, because ususally I keep my cool. But now I'm going to make sure I come through with my receipts on any platform to expose these crooks! I also want to caution others: many of the people who interact with clients -- often titled "account managers" or "case managers" -- may not be licensed tax professionals. I'm over here thinking I hired PROFESSIONALS to handle my affairs. The case managers seem like regular Joe's and Jane's , not licensed to work on any tax related business. And these people have access to all of my and YOUR personal business, finacials and ALL!.FYI To legally represent you before the IRS or negotiate on your behalf, a person MUST be an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or attorney. It's unclear what, if any, credentials these individuals have, and no licensed professional EVER contacted the IRS for me. What exactly is an account/ case manager and how are they authorized to contact the IRS on my behalf? What credentials are they working with? If they were official and qualified the VERY 1st thing on the menu would have been to make sure I was tax compliant. They try to request the same info over and over or ask for NEW info. I sent my lease, this account manager said he doesn't see how much I pay monthly...resend. A lease CLEARLY shows how much you pay and what the terms are of that lease. This is just a tactic of playing with your time, to pretend they spent time doing some sort of progress on your case .. ... only to finagle you out of more money for hours they DIDN'T work.. I've since reported them to the BBB, the State Attorney General, the FTC, and the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility. I tried to report them to consumer affairs of CA, but they politely referred me to the SAG office. I would advise others to avoid this company AT ALL COSTS (because baby it's gonna cost you ) and consult a licensed tax professional instead. And also report them to any entity that regulates them. Again, dont be like me do EXTENSIVE research, RUNNN from this company like your running from Usain Bolt because they will take your money and do NO work. These people are the legal version of a 419 scam in the USA. DONT DO IT!!! Your statement is carefully worded but completely sidesteps and jumps over the actual facts of my experience. I have full documentation--that directly contradicts your claims. Despite your assurances of professionalism, NO action was taken on my IRS account. Your refusal to remove your Power of Attorney unless I signed a waiver is also on record. These are not "unrealistic expectations"--they are documented failures to act. You also resent that same release form for me to sign after I explicitly terminated our business dealings a week prior. I contacted Tax Network Usa because they were advertised on some of the conservative podcasts that i listen too i thought they could be trusted i now get annoyed when they are advertised because they are a scam. I have been paying them 309 dollars a month for a year with the promise of an offer in compromise for my IRS debt. I called them in tears I was told my case would be prayed over and i would be prayed for I believed I finally found the people who would help me I was told my situation was an easy one for them they should be able to settle it quickly Matt Garcia is a liar. I have gotten absolutely no help. No responses to emails i was promised a scheduled call every two weeks I got 1 then Belle Young disappeared I was never informed that I needed a new case manager I sent email after email no response then I get a new point if contact who Rebecca who seemed like she was really going to help me gave me a direct number to text any questions I might have she was very responsive wr had a phone call possibly two she listened to me answered what questions she could mind you this is closing in on a year of nothing. I sent financial documents 3 times I signed POA Rebecca then tells me I need to send financial documents and I might need to sign a new POA never got it. I have been texting Rebecca and emailing her and all I am getting in response is a "I received your email I have started reviewing your case" what was being done the 11 months before this? Started several months ago with no solution in sight. Email responses take several days (that's with you following up).

I got hit with a State tax audit and reached out to Tax Network USA for help. I originally paid them $9000+ for their services. They took almost a year to help me get it settled all the while I was accruing interest and I ended up owing more then I started at. Then about 7 months ago prior to completing the State issue their team member Gavin called me frantically saying I had another Federal issue and if I didn't act right now they were going to levy my accounts, put liens on my property and garnish my wages. I needed to pay him $6895 dollars and he'd be able to put a stop to it. I freaked out and agreed without question because I was already having tax problems. Then upon getting my State issues taken care of I asked their team member Ana about the Federal issue that Gavin called me on and she looked it up and said it wasn't me which I then went and looked back at a document that Gavin sent me and she was right it was a different Craig. I asked if she could help and she told me no and washed her hands of it realizing she'd just opened a can of worms. I've been attempting to get a resolution/ refund for 4 months now and everyone at TN USA keeps blowing me off. They keep switching team members talking to me currently they have me talking to Neal who is trying to tell me that the Federal issue was me. I've had to keep starting from scratch trying to get a refund for this tax service that wasn't my issue to begin with. I'm looking for a refund of the total amount I was charged for this transaction of $6895 which I've now accrued interest on top of. DO NOT EVER HIRE TN USA for help with tax relief! Paid $3600 upfront for tax service going back 3 years in January 2024. I was scammed by investment company Madoff style and would like to write off losses. I had to initiate calls to get info and status on my case since January 9 2024. Still no calls or resolution . Paid $3,600 to call them several times and filed my own taxes. I'm a victim of Tax Network USA, they took over $13,000 from me for $700 worth of service. They pressured me to sign under stress, verbally assured a negotiated tax resolution they never pursued or even investigated that I would be eligible for then stalled until my credit card dispute window expired. After months of silence it became clear they had done nothing to earn the fees. I requested a refund repeatedly--no response. They ignored my requests and denied any wrongdoing. After filing with the BBB, FTC, CFPB, and state AGs, I discovered I'm far from alone. Over 40 recent reviews document identical patterns: high-pressure sales, long delays, ghosting, inflated fees, no meaningful tax help. Many of us ended up worse off--with more IRS debt and no service delivered. Be warned: They've also retaliated against critical reviews by disclosing client info and threatening defamation lawsuits. Search their BBB and Google responses if you don't believe it. They'll assure you on the phone they can take care of everything, read the reviews of what happens after the payment is made. read more

LOOK OUT - this may be a scam. We have had a very different, and pretty negative, experience from the other reviews. On an initial consult, Tax Network told us that they could help us with our federal tax debt for $11,000. That price was high, since we were obviously in debt, but we used the last of our savings. We did NOT withhold how much debt we had and believed that the $11k we paid would cover this debt. After sending in some information, we had a more formal call, and suddenly the price of service for our amount of debt increased to $40,000. We're already in for $11k, so it's hard to say no - give me a substandard option that I wasn't aware was all I would get when I paid after the first call. We went on a payment plan, and I will be honest, we've had some trouble paying for a few months, but are caught up. Many times, we'd get an email or a call saying they needed several documents by end of week or tomorrow and we're both working a lot to try to catch up financially, so this was quite stressful. We worked with Angie, and she was always very understanding, but whoever is giving her information is not doing so in a timely manner or possibly not providing her with complete information. We now still owe Tax Network about $8000 of our final total bill, and received an email a few days ago noting that the lawyers had reached a resolution, and that we'd need to pay DOUBLE what we were paying monthly to the IRS as our settlement. My husband and I have repeatedly emailed to say that this is not only not acceptable, but that (1) we can't afford it, and (2) no one has told us for how long we'd be paying this amount, nor what our total amount we'd be paying to the IRS is. My husband finally called yesterday and they don't have that information for him, but they do think that somehow we have a disposable monthly income of $4800 - I did not send any documents suggesting that. No one will communicate anything else via email and they want everything to be done by phone now, and we can only reach Angie. I am becoming convinced that this is a scam. read more

Taxes is the most stressful problem you can have. I'm in the process of working with Kat Dias and she has been a godsend she's very calm, understanding, re assuring.
