Otherwise, I'd need to take out 2nd and 3rd mortgages. The downside is new releases, and big-name authors usually are not included without paying a lot of extra $$. Not in this economy! My Solution- Enter my wonderful library and the synergy between them, and Amazon, and an awesome app called Libby. How it works- Make sure you have a library card. Download the free Libby app, enter your card number, and tell it you have Kindle Unlimited. Now, you can borrow a library book from the Libby app. If it's not available, the app will notify you when it is. Now, you can borrow it, and it will automatically appear as an eBook in your Kindle Unlimited library for free! Say what! That's very cool! Check my picture. That's my Kindle library and the Clive Cussler book is from my local library. Amazon would have charged me $10 but it's free to me. Crap you say, I don't have or want Kindle Unlimited. No problem. You can borrow a book in Libby and read it for free with Libby's built-in reader! It's all thanks to the original resources of your local library! As I mentioned, sometimes the library's copies of a very popular book will be all loaned out. Libby will notify you when a copy is available. Conclusion- In this economy, this is a 5-star experience with 0 extra outlays!

I retired here 12 years ago, stopped by here and was treated so well a practically had a heart attack from ecstasy! Now it's time for an update. Arriving- It's on Main St. with typical free parallel parking. Drive around the block and you'll find a free lot that is close. Ambience- They've recently underwent an expansion, and you are now welcomed by a beautiful outside mural! See my pic. Everything inside is clean and neat with comfortable chairs. Product- In FL, small towns like mine combine their tax office and DMV operation into one. A lot can be done online but some stuff needs the personal touch. For really complicated work, especially property titles. I need to go to Sebring, which has a bigger office. Customer Service- I came from PA where a DMV visit was often a half day nightmare or worse! Here, I'm seen in 5 or 10 minutes and I'm often out the door in less than 30 minutes. The employees are super friendly and efficient. On this visit I was out the door in twenty minutes, and it took 2 hours for the smile to disappear from my face! Conclusion- Folks often complain about bureaucracy, but this is a wonderful example of how to do it right. 10 Stars!

They are American Legions and Moose Lodges. There may be others. They all have similar characteristics and that is what I mean by cookie cutter. · They are all members only but make it very easy for a member to bring a guest and that is my situation here. · They have a big bar with very good prices on drinks. · They usually have food also at great prices. It's often simple stuff like burgers and bar food. · They schedule lots of activities like poker nights, pool and dart leagues, spaghetti dinners, raffles, etc. · They do a wonderful job supporting local charities by holding fun raising events and supplying volunteers in countless ways! My last visit was very simple as a guest of three friends that were members. It was a hot Florida afternoon and we wanted to have a few cheap drinks in an air-conditioned environment. We had an excellent bartender, and I had a great time drinking and chatting and playing the TouchTunes jukebox. Just what we needed! If per chance you get invited by a member of one of these fine places, I strongly suggest you agree!
