They don't swap out your tank, only fill the ones that you bring, which I love considering I purchased new tanks when I moved into the neighborhood.

Mike gets one star because of how he was early on because otherwise I'd give a zero if I could. I've struggled with posting this because he is a small business but after seeing other lawns throughout the spring, summer and fall, I decided to post. We searched the neighborhood for the nicest lawns and landscaping and kept seeing signs for Mike and Marco. We called and he showed up the next day. He removed a ton of landscaping rocks and excess dirt from our backyard cleanup. The lawn looked great to start but as the summer went on his guys destroyed my lawn. Coming from the nicest lawn last year to this was horrible. I called him and texted with no response. I also asked my wife to call because I thought he might be screening calls. I spoke to his guys who pretended to listen and did nothing and actually broke a sprinkler head. I decided to fire him and he finally called back and sounded unfazed. I called my old landscaper right back and will never make this mistake again. It's sad because the houses he handles are bigger and have more landscaping than mine. I guess stealing our money was just fine for him. Edit: because you can't reply, yes you did respond back after numerous calls and texts. You finally called back when I left a message and canceled your service and I thanked you because I was being nice and don't like to be rude. First of all ELD refuses to commit to a specific time for appointments, so be prepared to wait over a 2 hour window every time for THEIR convenience. We only live a few miles away from their Wantagh office but nope, they still rigidly adhered to that 2 hour waiting period. A synopsis of our horrible experience follows: The owner, Larry, arrived at our home WITHOUT A MASK to discuss our landscaping job and did not social distance either. Larry took a large deposit, refused to sign his own contract afterward (claimed that "wasn't necessary"), never answered our messages and emails about desired plantings/start date over the next several weeks. When we politely tried to firm things up numerous times, rude nasty secretary Susan always said "I can't help you I can only leave messages for Larry and he's very busy"; of course Larry NEVER deigned to reply. Since Larry was nonresponsive we tried contacting his son Matt (also an owner/manager) but he didn't reply either. After weeks of being given the runaround and with fall planting season coming to an end, we finally asked for our deposit back since they didn't do anything. No refund as of now. Huge Ripoff! I've seen advertisement for 5-6 ft or 6-7 ft and the quality/fullness of the trees seem to varies on the landscapers. This season was also apparently tough on inventory and some of the landscapers I spoke with had trouble getting the trees at the right height we wanted. (I know construction supplies are low too, we've been looking into other home reno projects) Jack was very responsive from the beginning when I first reached out and when I asked, sent me photos, video and even face timed me to show me examples of the trees I would be getting. His brother also paid an in person visit and chatted with my neighbor and I about what they can do and the location for planting. I spoke with a few other landscapers but ultimately went with J&R because they were responsive, straightforward and the price was competitive! The trees ended up looking great, fat and tall and gave me instant privacy!!
