While I was in the makeup section trying to find my foundation shade, a staff member walked past me nearly bumping into me just to assist another customer who was only a few feet away. I stood there, honestly stunned, as he then moved on to help yet another nearby customer without ever acknowledging me. It felt as though I was completely invisible. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and fairness. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here, and it left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I don't like…read moregoing to the mall, but if I happen to be here, I'll stop by the Sephora for what I might need at the time. This store is well stocked and updated with their current inventory. It's not the largest store, but they still carry all of the premium products you would find on their website. Currently during the holiday shopping season, it is packed with shoppers. I still managed to find what I need and leave in a timely manner. The line to check out was long but moved quickly, since they had multiple cashiers on hand. The staff are always ready to help me find what I need, and sometimes offer samples as a suggestion of a product. If something is out of stock, they'll order it for me with fast and free shipping. This is an excellent Sephora in the area.

I booked a massage online using their system and received a confirmation of my booking after I placed my credit card. When I arrived (40 minute drive from my home), there was no available therapist. I was told that the spa was changing online booking systems and that they were sorry and that the therapist was probably sick. They did try to call to find someone last minute and offered me a 50% discount on my next massage which was very generous. So, I tried again to book a service the next day, received a confirmation and decided to call the number online to double confirm so as not to end up in the same situation. I did so 2 days in a row and even sent a text via a chatbot and never heard back. I decided to try calling the chatbot number and someone answered. She confirmed my appointment and then proceeded to ask me if I would be willing to change my service booking since the therapist usually doesn't like doing multiple services if they take 3 hours. I asked if the therapists communicate their preferences so that customers can't book something which cannot be performed. The receptionist started to get defensive and asked if I knew that 3 hours was a long time to book services for. I then asked her if I could give her some constructive feedback: that I found it very difficult to communicate with Soma and effectively book services-something I've done online hundreds of times over the years with different businesses. Surprisingly, she felt the need to announce that she would cancel my appointment and tried to hang up on me. I was able to get her to hear me in my request that my feedback simply be fed up to the management, but I experienced her as persistent in her "not my problem or responsibility" message. I told her that as a receptionist, she is the outward face of her company even if she isn't the owner or therapist. Overall an incredibly unprofessional experience. I will not return and will warn friends against Soma. There are so many wonderful businesses with excellent customer service in the area which I would encourage people to patron.

As a resident of Cromwell, I've driven by Green Lotus many times, but today was the first time I decided to give it a try, and it was a great choice! I called Green Lotus late in the afternoon inquiring about an appointment for facial waxing either tonight or tomorrow night - and surprisingly, they were able to fit me in tonight. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile from Monica, and she offered to hang up my coat and get me a drink. My appointment with Vanessa went very well - she introduced herself with a handshake and conversed with me throughout the appointment. I have some skin sensitivities and allergies, and Vanessa discussed these with me prior to my appointment and added them to my record. It even printed that I had an allergy on my receipt - so I'm very pleased to know they take that matter seriously! She really took her time and didn't rush through the service. If I were to describe both employees I dealt with, I'd say: Processional & Friendly. They both deserve a ton of credit for their great customer service - something that seems rare these days. The salon is very clean and the waxing room had soft, relaxing music in the background and a soothing fountain. I thought the price was reasonable and ended up booking a future appointment. I should have called but everything happened so quickly that I honestly was not thinking about the days appointments. I was unable to pick up my phone when they called but when I realized what had happened I called right back from the hospital. They do not answer their phone so I left a message and sent an email explaining what happened, I received no response and they charged me $185.00 for missing the appt. My message stated that I understood I would need to pay a cancellation fee and asked if under the circumstances if they could refund part of the $185.00 Well as I said there was no response. I would have been a very good client for these people as I would have utilized a number of their services on an ongoing basis. I did make a mistake but I think this is a very bad way to do business and a terrible way to take advantage of someone. Sometimes things just happen!

When I relocated back to the east coast my first call was to 180 Renu. to my surprise, the business had exploded and there were new locations and staff. Christina worked very hard and rightfully so, opened up new businesses. Due to timing and availability I haven been to all locations since. When I had my appointment in the Middlebury CT office, I was not impressed with the staff. The young woman behind the counter did not smile, or remotely come accRoss friendly or welcoming. I was barely in the door and she rushed me in the back. The Nurse practitioner there rushed me just as much, barely speaking to me pri to injecting me. It was only when done she very fakely said " so what do you do, blah blah". literally as she walked me to the front to leave. It was so rushed I said " what time do you guys close", thinking that I was causing her to be late for something. Well, I wasn't. Clearly she wanted to leave and made me feel exactly that way. I never said anything because I give people the bene of the doubt. Maybe a bad day? No. I saw the same Front office girl in southington and again tried to politely say hello, how are you. Only again to be met with an unwelcoming stare. The Newington office was fantastic all around. I wish I could remember the PA in front desk, girls name because they were both awesome! Very friendly, very professional, very welcoming. Here's where I am extremely upset and unhappy. I was enrolled in the monthly club and for the better part of the last year there were no issues. Now, the fact that I had a large large, some of money stolen out of my account., Is no fault of theirs clearly. About six weeks ago maybe longer I was told by one of the girls at the front desk in Southington that due to the full amount, not being able to be successfully deducted, that I was going to be charged full price With no etc., etc. Now I get it, it's a business, and obviously being a faithful, client that has referred many people and spent thousands and thousands of dollars Apparently does not make a difference in being lenient while I am going through personal issues with my bank and getting the finances cleared up due to the theft. I get that it's a business. But I will this, not only did I hear it from the girl on the phone before I got there, but then one of the women at the front desk, I grossly over apologized for the inconvenience that actually only affects me as the customer, paid full price and moved on. Now, I just finally had a chance to go through my old email account and saw email after email after email basically being seven days apart from each other stating that "if I did not figure out the automatic withdrawal situation that I needed to give them a" CREDIT CARD" in all caps or I would lose my discount and be charged full price! "thanks for understanding The read exactly the way her shitty attitude intended them to . The problem with this is, you already told me this a month and a half ago "multiple times. So when I walked out, we were all under the understanding that I was no longer in the monthly discount club by having the automatic withdrawals, yet I'm still getting these distastefully written emails That most certainly came across as if they were yelling, and being disrespectful. They were also repeated every seven days until 8 July. Now, I would never, ever say that Christina is not fantastic at what she does, because she is. We all know that you are only as good as your office staff, regardless of you have following your name and signature. I myself have been in healthcare For many, many years, and if anybody ever spoke to a customer the way that I've been spoken to previously let alone those distastefully and disrespectfully written emails,, people's heads would roll! I don't know who this young lady named Jordan thinks she is, but she needs a serious fucking attitude adjustment, and in my opinion should be let go. But the damage is done with me. I never ever give people a reason to speak to me the way that she did via email or over the phone., And I sure as hell I am not going to allow that to happen again! It saddens me greatly that and almost decades worth of business is now worthless, and I am certain that the owner Christina will not be happy regarding these situations, but that unfortunately is not my job to be concerned about. I was a very loyal and faithful customer that is now lost due to some pretty shitty office staff! Again, I do not want these to throughout all locations and employees, that simply would not be fair. I do, however, want people to be aware of my very unfortunate circumstances. When paying for high dollar services, NO one should be made to feel the way I have

I only had my forehead, 11s and crows feet done. That's the most I have ever paid for those areas. I was expecting with such an experienced professional and owner of the spa that I'd receive great service and it was far from it. Not only was she rude but she was close to 20 mins late to the appointment. She provided no aftercare instructions and didn't even ask for a follow up appointment to ensure I liked everything and it looked good. I was a new client for her and had never had lytebo before so I would have expected she even pretended to slightly care what the results were. Oh and not to mention, after paying a premium for her services she's the only injector who's ever bruised me in the middle of my forehead. Tierney who also works there is super sweet and Michelle is great as well. There's too many options in the Farmington valley area with great injectors to come here.
