Horrible owner!!! AND horrible service!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! This review is loooooong overdue. I was quoted for a specific price for 7 girls in my wedding by an employee in this company , owner then comes back weeks later after I booked them to tell me that's not the correct price and that the woman who quoted me had been fired....since the deal was already done she said she would follow through with the original quote ...I asked her to include the price in the contract but she refused to put an amount anywhere in writing I should've taken that as a HUGE red flag on what was yet to come on my wedding day....wedding day comes and two employees come to my suite for hair and makeup and the owner tells me I have to pay a lot more to get the services done!!! At some point on the phone she thought that she was having a private moment after I passed the phone to one of her employees and completely bad mouthed me while she was still on speaker !!! Soooo unprofessional !! I could've easily gotten someone else who was more reasonably priced, ethical, AND better at hair and makeup. read more

I just had my wedding 7-15-17 and I had the Beauty Entourage team come to my venue Bill Miller's Castle to do my hair and my bridal party (total- 12 people). I was lucky enough to have the owner Ashley, and her wonderful team: Jordan and Leatrice. They were fabulous! Leatrice did some AMAZING braids for my bridesmaids and I LOVED my hair done by Ashley. Ashley did my hair half up half down then after my first look she put my hair in an updo. The team was professional, kind, and was on time. I recommend them to ANYONE!! Especially for wedding, its their specialty!! read more

I hate to leave such a negative review, but hiring beauty entourage for my wedding is my one regret for the entire day. Without getting into too much detail, Me, the bride, messed up the original timeline of the day and asked them if we could change it about three weeks in advance. When I emailed them asking them to make the adjustment, I was met with a solid "No sorry". I called them immediately, practically in tears, even offering to pay for additional artists so that we could finish at the time that was required. Apparently ALL their artists were booked and there was no one else they could add in. They could not push the time start time up because they had a wedding before mine. This was really unexpected considering our ceremony was fairly early, at 3:30 PM, but they seem to treat bridal hair and makeup like cranking out products in a factory... apparently they only allot 1 hour for the bride... my trial took 2.5 hours so this did not seem to add up. They (somewhat reluctantly?) ended up working with me in the way that they could and we settled on a different end time. I had to come to terms with a few changes, like having a different makeup artist than the one that did my trial, but that wasn't the end of the world because all I cared about my hair. I thought we had come up with a solution. The whole time I apologized and took ownership for "my mistake." The day of the wedding, my hairstylist was really late (she was very talented and I know it was not her fault... she told me that the wedding before mine went long), but I ended up doing a different type of curl than we had planned that was easier to make up lost time. At the end of the day we were very late to first look and ultimately had to take the bridal party photos during the cocktail hr which I was hoping to avoid. I'm still really upset about missing that time because I won't get it back. My bridesmaids were fairly happy with their looks but for the price it was VERY rushed. There was only one hairstylist to do all 9 of my bridesmaids and the curls fell out very quickly. I'm sure their coordinator is going to clap me and remind me that it was "my fault" because I screwed up the timeline originally. At the end of the day I offered to pay for additional girls (I didn't care if the number of heads stayed the same, I was willing to pay as much as they needed to accommodate the new timeline, and they JUST COULDN'T DO IT.) I offered to hire someone outside of the company to come in, and they reassured me it wouldn't be necessary. After the wedding, I asked if there was anything they could do price wise since my hair girl still ended up showing up very late and I was not done at the newly agreed upon time. I would have been happy with any small discount. Even just 10% to show that they understood how I felt. NOPE. All my fault. Fine. Every other vendor in my wedding was super accommodating to changes, but not BE. It looks like there are a lot of bad reviews for them, I should have looked at these more closely before hiring them. read more

I was just in a friend's wedding who had them for makeup and hair. Both girls were very nice and timing was good. The makeup was beautiful and bridal/simple, but charging $20 to put on lashes that you buy yourself (or even that they supply) is ridiculous - (didn't pay it, just saying prices are not reasonable.) The big thing was that the hairstylist said she was experienced but none of our hair looked great, and it all fell out before we left the house. We all said we could've done a better job on eachother and paid too much. I might recommend in a pinch, but not otherwise. read more

I contracted with Beauty Entourage while in Chicago for my friend's wedding this past weekend in Connecticut. The ease of doing business with this service was fantastic. I designed and contracted the services all via email and was able to surprise my friend, the bride with a relaxing morning of pampering. Our hair and makeup stylists Janice and Hilary were fantastic and we all looked fabulous! If in need. I will definitely use this service again. read more

I'm very happy I went with beauty entourage for my hair and makeup for my wedding! I didn't do a hair or makeup trial so it was a little scary, but I've heard so many good things about them that I knew everything would still turn out great! Charlie and Megan were on time and professional. They worked with the little space they had. All of my bridesmaids were happy with their hair and makeup. All we had to do was show them pictures of what we wanted and they were able to replicate it. My hair and makeup came out perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing! Overpriced & disappointed with the way my hair and makeup turned out. My curls didn't even hold nor, make it through the ceremony. My makeup was basic/bland, eyelashes used are cheap, and my lipstick came off within 10 minutes. We even had to apply more of our own makeup. Not worth it. read more

I'm not one not write reviews unless it's really good or really bad. However my experience was one that WAS easily avoidable ..... Had hair and makeup done for my wedding with bridesmaids and mother's. We Were scheduled for 4 hours to have 6 makeup and 4 hair..... and told to absolutely not be late. The studio is nice and clean. We arrived on time as requested In order to "keep their schedule on time". Hair was done by Lisa and it was absolutely excellent for all. Makeup was done by (?) and was decent. As each girl transitioned through hair and makeup without any pause - we realized we were not going to be out on time as scheduled. But what do you even do? Everyone needed their hair or make up for the day .We were 1.5 hours past our time and therefore were very VERY late for the wedding. Unsure if there wer not enough artists booked or the time was miscalculated - the lead concierge wouldn't give me a straight answer when I inquired via email . Myself and the bridal party and mother's all had to change at the salon . Upon check out I provided a card for the balance which was charged fully (before being told the total ) instead of applying my deposit - since we were so late - and the girl had no idea how to refund payment - we had to just leave - but they were very good about refunding the payment a few days later so no complaints there . Days later I informed them about the damage they had caused to my wedding . I was given an unsympathetic "sorry" and something about Covid and accommodating brides ???? I didn't see the connection to how this specifically applied to the damage to my day..... mind you I had booked this back in February . If enough artists were not available I should have been informed during confirmation that week and to adjust the times but this was not that case. The 1.5 hours of time that went over cost us : 30 minutes of our first look photos, Very delayed ceremony/cocktail hour/ dinner.... not only that it forced our photographers to have to leave at their originally scheduled time (during dinner now) which resulted in us having to cut our cake alone for photos and then re cut it with our small wedding. Because of the rush we missed many photos with family members which we will never get back. While I understand accidents happen this was a severe miscalculation that truly upset our wedding day - one we will never get back . read more

Posting this review my wife wrote about her recent experience with Beauty Entourage on other wedding vendor websites --- Monique is an incredibly talented artist who also knows how to put everyone at ease and can get along with everyone. She will have you smiling and laughing, and by the time you're done and you look in the mirror, you'll look radiant not just from her impeccable skill, but from the great mood she puts you in! I can't speak highly enough of her. She will listen to you and has the expertise to take what you want and make it the best version possible. Beauty Entourage was also incredibly professional, and I'd say there are only two small areas of improvement (for now): 1. There were two deposits I needed to put down before having a trial, and 2. The app they have is a little buggy, which I know they are trying to fix. Overall, the experience was great, and the people are in regular contact and have phenomenal customer service that goes above and beyond any glitches! The hair and makeup was perfect! Beauty Entourage provided hair & make-up for myself and my bridal party for my wedding. I showed a photo of what I wanted my make up to look like and they matched it very well to the photo. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for my hair and they worked with me and gave great suggestions. I had a morning wedding so hair and makeup began at 4am and they were on time and professional. They finished on time (in the timeframe they gave me) which helped keep the stress of the day at bay. Overall, my hair stayed in place all day and makeup did not smudge or wear off throughout the day. I would highly recommend. Excellent service and price is very fair for the quality. This is a team of truly creative professionals. I hired Beauty Entourage for my May 21st wedding - both hair and makeup services for six bridesmaids, two mothers, and, of course, myself. Carly and Kyle could not have been more wonderful. They were at my hotel suite exactly on time and spent hours making my whole crew gorgeous. They are just so talented and can really execute any look flawlessly, whether enhancing natural beauty or creating a glamorous, dramatic appearance. I had originally booked Beauty Entourage for my wedding on May 31st, 2020. I had my trials, in which I paid for separately from my deposit and tipped separately as well. Then Covid hit. Because we were so close to our date, I had put down $350 deposit for my services. At first, Beauty Entourage was advertising that any existing deposits would be transferred to new wedding dates. Well we pushed our wedding back to October 2020, which we all know did not happen. Now, at this time, hair and makeup services were heavily restricted per state orders. They then transferred my deposit to May 2, 2021 with no problems and no new contract. Unfortunately, we had to push our wedding back one final time. This is where their poor customer service stepped in. They told me my new wedding date was available, but that they would be keeping all of my $350 deposit and that I would have to put down a new deposit and pay all over again for services never rendered. I wasn't even offered part of my deposit back. They claimed that since it was my third time pushing my date back, that I wouldn't get the money back because they needed to pay their contractors for the date guaranteed. Which would have been fine, if they had told me about the loss of deposit when I switched the second time and had been open about it. I have kept every email and no one had mentioned this. I followed them on Facebook and it was all advertising that our deposits can be pushed to new dates. This is the only vendor who I have had a problem with during Covid. All of my vendors have been great and understanding. They didn't even do any work to earn that $350, not to mention that a large portion of our shutdown had their services heavily restricted to begin with. Both brides and businesses have had a hard time during Covid. I've also lost money. A lot of it. And it is in bad taste and bad faith to do this to your clients and not work something out, especially since I would imagine you would want your clients supporting you if something like this ever happened again. At the very least, my money should have gone towards a future service so both the client and the business wouldn't lose money. I'm very disappointed and wish I had read some reviews before I booked Beauty Entourage because poor customer service seems to be a theme. Needless to say, I booked another company for hair and makeup that had much less of a deposit and guaranteed me that if my wedding was cancelled or did not happen, that my deposit would go toward any other service I wanted. THAT'S the way a business should operate during a pandemic. Without their clients, there wouldn't be a business. Brides beware. Much too big of a company to care for their clients on a personal level. Hire small local businesses that treat you like friends and family and who communicate on a personal level. Beauty Entourage sends out auto generated emails and you never speak to the owner. read more

I booked a hair and makeup trial with beauty entourage in order to try out with them first before booking the final date. This morning I received a message from Kristen letting me know that they are not available for my wedding date anymore (4 days before the trial booked nearly 2 months in advance). Because I did not put a deposit for the wedding date itself, only the trail. They booked a different wedding without showing me courtesy of a call or email to suggest we put the deposit if we want that date. I have waited a long time for this trial because they were unavailable sooner, and now exactly 2 months before my wedding, I have to start the makeup and hair search again. I do not recommend going with this group because they may do beautiful makeup, but they will leave you high and dry without a second thought. Any bride in my position would be worried and disappointed by this, and it's unfortunate that that isn't a concern for these wedding professionals. read more

Beauty Entourage did an AMAZING job at my wedding. My mother and I did a hair and makeup trial which was very helpful. As someone whose never done air brush makeup, I was afraid that I would look like a different person. That was definitely not the case. Catherine made sure my makeup was natural yet stunning. My up-do was also gorgeous because Shirley magically weaved my hair into a hair piece that I had brought with me. The day of the wedding, Shirley, Catherine, and Beth showed up right on time. They are professional, sweet, timely, and listen very well. I also want to add that Beth did my bridesmaids makeup and they all came out looking like perfection. I honestly can't describe in words what an amazing job they did. Beauty Entourage is the perfect hair/makeup vendor. I HIGHLY recommend!!! read more
