From day one, we noticed he was a unique mix of overly territorial, overly protective, and easily overwhelmed. With strangers, or in chaotic situations, he'd bark, growl, lunge, and snap--not out of aggression, but sheer stress. During one of our first walks, a passing bicycle set him off so much he yanked me clean off my feet, leaving me sprawled out in the dirt, contemplating my life choices. At home, though, he was nothing but sweet--a gentle giant with his family. Desperate for help, we turned to TM Canine Services. Enter Tyler--the dog whisperer, the miracle worker, and Johnny's future bromance. Our journey didn't exactly start smoothly. At the very first class, Tyler approached us and suggested a better collar for Johnny. As I got Johnny into the car to swap it out, he went full chaos mode--snapping at Tyler and then at me. I was shaken and unsure if I should stay or go. Tyler reassured me, encouraging us to stay and observe, only interacting as I felt comfortable. Despite how rattled I was, I decided to stick it out--and I'm so glad I did. I needed to build my confidence, and Johnny desperately needed the experience. It became clear group classes were too overwhelming for Johnny, so we switched to private lessons. Slowly but surely, progress happened. Tyler's patient, no-nonsense approach, combined with his kindness and deep knowledge of dogs, worked wonders. Eventually, Johnny graduated back into group classes, where he added his own flair--like sitting down to spin in circles or flopping like a fish out of water on his back when he got bored. Fast forward two years, and Johnny is a completely different dog. He's calmer, more obedient, and while he's still overwhelmed sometimes, he's learning to trust the world again. His favorite person? Tyler. We're so grateful for Tyler and TM Canine Services for never giving up on Johnny, even when it felt like a lost cause. We used a chain for the first few grooms until we found our way around. In NJ, he had seasonal skin issues as he grew up. Here they became full time and he needed to be groomed shorter as he aged and the need for a medicated shampoo was a must. even with the shampoo and close cuts, his skin was not improving. He was also starting to have mobility issues as he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. It felt like the groomer I had used for over 2 years started to not care about his skin, lumps and bumps of my boy. Until Raina. We had a meet and greet and you could tell she was so compassionate. We had our first groom in July 2025. Rambo was very attached to me and she let me stay the entire 3 hours. I quickly started looking for pet cremation services only to find everyone closed, I called one gentlemen in kissimmee who was very rude, and then decided to call Terry expecting an answering machine. To my surprise he answered, apologized for my loss, and told me about his own sweet kitty Lilly, and then agreed to stay late for me to be able to drop her off that evening. I had a long chain of events that happened but he waited on us 2 and a half hours. We arrived at 9 and he invited us in, he never rushed us, but instead asked me about her, gave me very comforting words, and then just talking to my fiancé and I for a little bit. I'm a situation where my heart felt ripped out of my chest he showed so much empathy, compassion, and true care. I left feeling as though my sweet Sue was definitely with someone who would treat her with respect, dignity, and compassion. He then had my sweet Sue ready for me to pick her up after I got off work the next morning. He returned to me the towel and blanket she was brought in, and then led me to the viewing room where he gave me the best gift I could've imagined, my sweet calico baby, he saved clipping of each area of her fur color to show her beautiful coat, plus her whiskers, and the tip of her tail. He told me "something to hold, physically, whenever you're missing Sue" and that was something I had never thought of but got home and held it for a long time crying and remembering happy memories. I will never forget Terry and I hope anyone who is scared and heartbroken will take my advice and call him, his facility is connected to his other business working on classic cars. The receptionist was soo kind and amazing!! They squeezed Saddie in, and I can assure you we never felt squeezed in!! We really felt like our dog and us, were the only people there!! I'm 65 year's old, soo have experienced many vet appointments. They all were like angels! They sat on the floor with Saddie and us, and did a thorough and gentle exam. She explained how at this point, It was time for Saddie to pass away!! Our hearts were broken and they were their for all of us! We never felt rushed!!
