Good dermatologist, very thorough exam, but needs to share the diagnosis and treatment process. I returned for treatment, wasn't successful. Lab diagnosis was not accurate because 5 months later, I'm still having the same issues. ‍ read more

I can't even really rate any of the drs here because I ended up leaving before my appointment. I had a 3:00 appointment and got a call at 11:45 same day asking if I could come in earlier like 12:45. I told them I could get there by 1pm. I showed up at 12:48 and filled out my paperwork. The office was packed and there was no AC running ( on a 102° day!) I finally asked if I could just wait in my car since I wasn't feeling good due to the heat. They said sure and would call me when it was my turn. I finally went in at 2:10 and was told I would be coming up next but no time of when. I asked why they called me in 2 hours early only to have me wait an hour an 15 minutes. The front desk person was nice enough and apologized for the delay but I just let them know I couldn't wait anymore and canceled my appointment. Don't call people in early if you're going to have them wait that long and get some AC if you're an office in the high desert! read more

Too bad doctor Tran retired. I was referred to him & I hear he was a wonderful doctor. The younger Dr. who I saw is horrible. He doesn't have enough time for you. Makes you feel like your questions aren't important. He acts like you're beneath him. The only good thing is he did catch a spot & removed it. When I came in to get my stitches out, the girls were wonderful but when I asked about a spot & if he could take a quick look at it, he told the nurse we'll look at it next time I come in, which is in 6 months. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is the girls & nurses in the office are wonderful. read more

I saw Dr Lee , i was expecting to see Dr. Tran. Very disappointed, he didnt even bother to examine the skin of the patient and just prescribe an antibiotic. Consultation was so brief like 3 minutes. Told him that we tried that medication before and it doesnt work. He just prescribe it anyway since. Waste of co pay. read more

Great doctor honest and understanding. I have gone to other doctors and i get lectured on all the piercings i have its very annoying, I was referred to Tran for a keloid removal caused by a bad piercing and also a heat rash. He did not lecture me on my piercings, which made me comfortable. He gave me the pros and cons on the procedure scheduled an appt and the surgery was quick. The staff is friendly and he is very easy to talk to. My little sister now goes there and she likes it too. Great doctor great staff. read more

Tran Hai Peter, MD - Front of building - Dermatologists Near Me - Victorville, California

My 19 year old daughter was seen in the office today by Dr. Lee. She was very uncomfortable with her mole exam. She was asked to disrobe and not offered a gown even though she was clearly uncomfortable. As she stood in front of him in her sportsbra and thong she asked if she could put her shirt back on and was asked "why?". She also noticed that the blinds on the window in the room were open and she was very uncomfortable thinking that people on the sidewalk could see into the room. As a health care worker myself, I am disappointed in the unprofessional lack of understanding and tact in dealing with a young girls modesty. read more

I never saw doctor Tran ...only the PA who is nice but very young looking ....I don't know by experience she has had. The treatment she gave me for removal if AK's did not work. I hada lot of soreness from the biopsy Before & After ...complained about it... I was afraid it was infected and still nothing from doctor Tran. Surgery scheduled at least 4 weeks out and it was squamous cell cancer. no notes were put in my records from all my calls by the rude girls at the office. I called my insurance company they went to bat for me and gave me a change of directive to another doctor and service in our area and out of our area . I was very pleased to get everything taken care of within 5 days ..my complaint, a new referral, meeting the doctor for consult, and the surgeon right after that for the removal of the tumor. I am very pleased about that and especially that my insurance will pay for a doctor that doesn't fall under the umbrella of our medical service! who knew?? in one of the conversations I had with a appointment clerk. who aldo seemed to work part time I asked where is doctor Tran except the Wednesday's and Thursday's?? (his surgery days l and she said she didn't know so I said I assume he is semi retired and she agreed. it looks like the PA is running the office. read more

Do yourself a favor a DO NOT go to this doctor, I repeat DO NOT go to this doctor!!!! My physician is the best and he referred me to this dermatologyst. I have been suffering a chronic skin condition for years (13) which makes me extremely itchy. I hadn't been to a dermatologyst because I could not afford it but living with this has made my life very miserable. Finally the day came when I was able to be seen by someone who didn't even care for I had to say, you know? Like ask questions or at least let me explain everything from the beginning. No!!!! Instead he rushed me to every thing I wanted to say and the only good thing that came out of this is that he ordered a skin biopsy. A week had passed after the biopsy when I called his Office to follow up on it only to be told that the results came out just as he had thought from the beginning and to not pick on my skin. WTF!!! Does he thing that my skin looks the way it does just because I love to pick on it?? I scratch the hell out of it because it itches like hell. I asked the receptionist if he didn't want to see me in his office anymore and she said that I didn't need to go and just no to pick on my skin. I was helplessly crying when I hung up. I opened a patient profile on LABCORP to be able to access to my biopsy results. I have been researching on my condition and although there is no cure for it, there are plenty of alternatives to make my life better. I had to consult another dermatologyst and she gave me so much hope and explained everything, answered every question and even if I don't know wether the treatment is going to work or not, at least we are trying one of the many alternatIves out there for what I have. I gave one star becauSe it was the Only way to submit a review but seriously, he doesn't deserve a single one. read more

Horrible. I've been here previously and had a plan of action with the previous PA - Summer Nguyen, well I show up today and I get Richard Le, he didn't even look at my face and said well summer is just a PA and she no longer here so here is your prescription be patient. BE PATIENT? I was previously told that I would be a steroid shot on my jaw cystic acne, and he said no I don't do that. Go to a cosmetology place and get lacer or something is you are that worried about it. I've had this thing on my face for 10 years and he wants to tell me to be patient lol. This guys is seriously a joke and Dr. Tran should really reevaluate the people he is bringing into his practice. Worst impression I have ever gotten and never want to see that guy again. Why even become a doctor if you are not a people person? Ridiculous. read more

I heard good reviews of this practice but my experience was anything but good. I saw Dr L for a mole removal. He was ruff and grumpy unpleasant during the procedure, you would have thought it was his first time and he was having a bad day. On the way out, I asked about paying my copay and was denied, told they would bill me. When I received the bill, I called right away and offered a credit card number. This attempt to pay was also denied and i was told I had to MAIL A CHECK. This practice is still working in the 1900s. So I went to my on-line banking and sent them a check. My bank showed it cleared in 6/13/19, and they still sent me to collections. I received a collections letter dated 6/20/19, a week after my CHECK cleared and just 6 weeks after my visit. This is very aggressive after I was denied payment twice. I called collections and got the run around. This practice is miserable to work with. Everyone there has a anti-patient attitude and a mess with book-keeping. I paid using their antiquated method and as quick as their process allows, and still got sent to collections. If this actually hits my credit report, I will do everything I can to fix it and make life miserable at this poorly run practice. Did I say that the doctor injured me in the procedure too? Never again!!! Run, find another dermatologist because this place will mess you up and screw up your credit!!!! read more

Have a cyst on my face. Saw a dermatologist in Rancho Cucamonga 3 years ago who drained it and it went away and stayed away until a month ago. So I made a doctor's appointment and got a referral to this dump. Saw the PA for maybe 2 minutes and she looked at my face smiling the whole time, telling me there was nothing they could do. She said "You can't even see it". Let's put this cyst on your face girl. I asked if they could drain it or do anything for the coloring like my last dermatologist did and nope. She said they couldn't do anything. And if I wanted it removed I would have a "BIG SCAR". Really nice and also completely false. Only a terrible doctor would leave a huge scar. My primary said I wouldn't even have to worry about scarring. There was no way I was paying my $75 co-pay when I only talked to the PA for 2 minutes and didn't even see Dr. Tran. Screw you guys read more

My adult daughter went to dr. Tran to discuss her acne and he completely dismissed her. He did not even look at her acne to determine the type it could be or engage in any discussion with her. He wrote a prescription and promptly left the room. The entire interaction was no more than two minutes. What a waste of time and her $20 co pay. read more

tran is a sadistic doctor who does not listen. i've seen several dermatologists over the years, the best one being in Los Angeles. He use the Woods lamp to diagnose the AKs that needed to be removed. he suggested a once a month visit to remove the pre-cancers gradually to avoid making deep burns and scarring my face. i eventually had to switch doctors and was referred to dr. tran as he is part of my medical group. i have tried explaining to him how i wanted to treat my actinic keratosis - slowly and gradually. first off to prevent scarring and the freezing process is very painful for me, especially when a doctor would go too deep. the slow method has always worked in the past. no scars and the lesions destroyed over time. i've had several AKs removed by doctor tran. he doesn't use a lamp, saying he can just "feel" the lesions. each time i asked him to take it easy but was basically ignored and he would just go deeper and deeper. this last time i think he just kept "burning" the tissue deeper and deeper. until i was ready to scream in pain. it was simply cruel. and unnecessary. i am no spring chicken and i know what is acceptable from experience. tran said maybe i should just treat the AKs myself since i was so sensitive and gave me a prescription for a cream to do so ... as if i can self-diagnosis where the cream should be applied. or see my back to check for pre-cancers. it's a doctor's responsibility to actually listen to the patient and figure out an acceptable treatment plan. he struts around with his little liquid nitrogen "gun", starts squirting away without even listing to what you have to say. it's obvious this is just a quick way to cycle as many patients in a day through the office without spending any quality time. more patients, more money. time to find a new doctor. read more

Took my Brother for an appt. with Dr. Tran today, it is very difficult for me to get him out of the car so Dr. Tran came to the car to see him, the visit was for a recheck on a procedure he had a month ago. How many Dr's would do that. Thank you Dr. read more

I have nothing against Dr. Tran,in fact I wished I could have seen him, and they never said he wasn't there or why, but now Dr. Lee is there, and he acts like he would rather be anywhere else than there. I should have seen the red flags sooner and said something, but this time I could not believe what he said to me. I have had carcinoma in situ and when I had another, I went to him and he took 3 biopsies, and didn't give me the results for 3 weeks. So 2 of the were benign so he requested permission from the insurance company to destroy them. I didn't know they did that. The third one was cancer, and he didn't let me know for 3 weeks. So the last time I was there, I asked him if I can come back if I see another precancerous spot and he told me not to come back for 6 months and not to call him, they would call me if they wanted me to come back. I think it's time I find a new DR.I really wish Dr. Tran was still there, he was so good to me, and so much more professional! read more

I have been seen, as well as my children for everything from moll checks, eczema, wart removal, and the more serious diagnosis on my baby of erythema multiforme. Dr. Tran has been consistently thorough, gentle, and accurate with diagnosis. We have also seen his associate doctors in his office over the years and they have always been very talented as well. Never a long wait and excellent and friendly office staff. Aria has always been helpful in making appointments. read more

We did not actually get to see Dr. Tran, it was his associate Dr. Le I believe and he was horrible and had a hugh ego! He did not even feel my husbands foot, just took a quick look and said, oh it is nothing. did not ask if it hurt or anything. I asked a question about cost and he replied that don't talk to him about money, if we have a medical question ask him he is the doctor not accounting! read more

My experience he is ok doctor I was there three times in first appointment I have dry skin problems And adult acne but looks like he is not interested to treating me good. read more

I saw Dr. Tran's associate, Dr. Le. He barely looked at my chronic heat rash and suggested that I use eucerin aquaphor cream on it even though I told him other creams and lotions make the itching worse. He then proscribed an antibiotic that I specifically told him I was allergic to. I tried the cream anyway but did not fill the antibiotic as it will make me break out in hives all over. As I predicted, the cream, which is petroleum based, made the rash even itchier as it blocks the pours from sweating properly. What a waste of $40. I will ask my primary for another referal to a good dermatologist. Hopefully the next one will actually take the time to listen and really exam my problem. read more

I have over several years been getting cysts, they really grow quick. I have had several removed in the past. Nine years ago I received Excellent Care from Dr Peter Tran. He found and removed a skin cancer. So I made an appointment with one of Dr Tran`s Associates. Dr Lee. He took one look at my cyst and said. There's nothing wrong with you. He refused to treat me. I had written down that I had had cases of Skin Cancer in the Past. He never looked over the rest of my body for possible skin cancer. I would call that 100% Doctor Mal Practice. I was not in the Treatment room over two minutes. When I got outside My wife said Dr Lee`s wife called and wanted to know when he was coming to lunch. Dr Lee is a very young man and is not qualified to be a Doctor yet. He is endangering Patients. I hold Dr Peter Tran 100% Responsible for hiring an Incompetent Doctor. Skin Cancer is very Dangerous and these two doctors may be causing peoples death or serious infections. Do not go to them for treatment!!!! read more
