This is the worst dr's office ever in the States. I went here just for a simple annual checkup. I…read moreasked the doctor many times if there is going to be a charge or not before the checkup. The doctor assured me there is no charge. Then I got a bill from the lab. So I called and talked to the manager. He said he would take care of it and assured me they don't charge to their patients for an annual checkup. Then I got another bill from the lab that has adjusted to just a few dollars less. The lab explained the reason of my bill is that the dr's office coded my blood work as diagnostic(not free) instead of preventive(free). This happened to me before, from other dr's office. That was why I asked the doctor about the charge before my checkup. I have been trying to call and talk to the manager over a month now. At first for a few days, they answered and said manager is not available. After then, they just hung up on me 4-5 times in a row. Then now they just let my phone goes to a voicemail during their business hours. I tried a few times and it keeps going to a voice mail. Please don't go here if you don't want to waste your money, time and energy like I did.

As of 02/28/2015 Dr. Nathan Darwin Hale MD is no longer practicing for his West Park Clinic after 40+ years. Per his letter and notice to his patients his illness (unknown) has forced him to retire. At his request all medical records are located at Arlington Internal Medical Group, #817-417-9334 or 817-417-9339 (Fax Request). Referral doctors, David Lee, Colleen Sam MD's and MaryAnn Efesoa NP. It totally saddens me to have heard and read of Dr. Hale leaving practice. Having worked for 9 major doctors in a Arlington clinic and choosing him as me and my son doctor for over 25 years its like having a family member go away and never coming back. He was such a warm and caring doctor. My last visit in Oct. 2014 I joking teased him about not aging and needed him to stay around for the final rights of passing for me. *Lol* I'm gonna miss him, Karen, Margaret, Carmen and even though I only saw Dr. Cherry once or twice the whole staff will be remembered as my #LifeStyle Fam.... *Tears*

I dislike negative reviews, but I feel this was merited. A…read morecheck up can be a nerve-racking thing, especially for someone with high cholesterol and a fear of needles, the nurses were all decent with assisting me during these phases... My negative experience came from the return visit scheduled with the doctor or perhaps it was a physicians assistant. A Scheduled return visit where a doctor or physician's assistant needs to be with you kind of gets your nerves up there....but then when they false diagnose you with type 2 diabetes it sets me off. The lady who again I presume is the physicians assistant, spent 20 minutes baring the bad news of my type 2 diabetes. Literally a life changer, and me being the thorough person I am asked many questions of how to proceed living with this new diagnosis....well, after being devastated and asking a final question regarding the actual blood count the lady looked at her chart and almost under her breath said nonchalantly "oh, you don't have diabetes"......WHAT?! ....again nothing else said, so I ask again do I or do I not have diabetes....her response oh ...yeah looking at this you don't, I must have looked at wrong chart before you. Now on the first hand I understand we all make mistakes, but no apology was given and I feel like it was pretty anticlimactic to be told I have such a game changer in deep details for 20 minutes talking about it just to be told Almost under the breath "oh no you don't" and then carry-on almost as if there wasn't something very significant that just occurred....does this make sense to y'all? Anyway, I now go to other practices to do my work and no I do not have diabetes :-p

However, Covid-19 is no longer as strong of an issue as it was in the past & masks are even optional on airplanes. I'm not sure what mindset they're operating under, but 1 would think they'd be less concerned about face coverings and more concerned with their staff presenting themselves as healthy.  Quite frankly, the individual at the front desk & most of the female staff look like they should be waiting in the lobby themselves.....as a weight loss patients.

I have been a patient of Kent's for at least 10 years and at first just happened to call his office because he was close to my home. The first time in his waiting room, I asked a lady who was waiting what she thought of the doctor and she said she drove in from out of town to see Kent and had been a patient for 7 years. Pretty impressive. I have had quick, professional, and consistent service and would recommend him to anyone who needs a general practitioner. His office staff will book you the day you call, sometimes within 45 minutes! Kent doesn't accept insurance or medicare, which probably is why he can work more efficiently. As a self-employed person who rarely visits the doctor, I only call every couple of years when I am on the verge of death and he never fails me!
