Medical Assistant Winfred N and Nurse Practioner Arslle G were very understanding, and listened to the concerns for my medical issue. The registration process was easy and I was seen within 30 minutes of completing the information on line and providing my insurance and drivers license. Jan. 13, 2026: Woke up with contagious pink eye. At 8:30 I went online to register. Did not know how to attach copies of my drivers license, nor my insurance card. Care Now sent a text saying to be there by 9:30. Went to Care Now. Staff told me I MUST complete online registration. Said I don't know how. The staff told me that it was "self explanatory." Since I was too stupid, I had to fill out paper forms. But the staff did not have the forms in stock - - the forms that are required for every patient, no exceptions. Meanwhile, Care Now continued to send several text messages telling me to check in. The staff took 25 minutes to print out the forms. The forms were all related to payment. By then, I had been removed from the waiting list. I do not know whether the staff was intentionally rude or merely incompetent. The staff did not know whether my insurance would cover the visit. Regardless, Care Now did not care about health - - Care Now only cared about getting paid. I did not trust the staff because of the staff's lack of knowledge about insurance, the staff's handling of paperwork, or the staff's assessment of my intelligence. I watched another patient in the lobby get up and walk out. A few minutes later, I also got up and walked out. read more

This is the worst place they had me sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half with 104.6 temp. They are all about getting your money and provide no service. Got my money back and went to a real doctor. Don't go here if you really need to see a professional as they are not. read more

Went in for a School Physical Evaluation. Took us 2 and 1/2 hours to be seen by a PA to finally look at my child. Just fyi

I don't ever really leave a bad review unless there is a breakdown in process. I went this afternoon with a flu like symptoms and did the pre screen/early check in. They require you to upload your ins info and fill all document out electronically. You literally scan your ins cards and get a confirmation of check in. I arrive and still have to wait 45 mins to be called and even then they ask me about is I'm paying with insurance or cash. I say insurance, and they proceed to tell me my insurance is not accepted and I must pay out of pocket. What I would like to see change is if the insurance is not accepted when you sign up on the website it should list it and tell you, also the breakdown in communication making some one who is sick wait 45 mins when they pre checked in and still had people go before them tell them when they arrive so they're. It wasting time and can go somewhere to get the care they need. DO BETTER CARE NOW. Also clean up your facility it looks like I would get sicker just by sitting in your waiting g room. read more

Made an online appointment at 8:15 on Saturday. Was given an appointment time. They change the time 4 time before I received a text to come check in. Got to the office at 11:15 and waiting an additional 2 and half hours before I saw a doctor. I understand things happen and this is why I do online check in to avoid having to wait at the office. This is not the way to run a business. If you are running behind don't tell me to come to the office just to wait 2 more hours. I will not be using this location again. read more

I definitely do not recommend this office for several reasons. They leave you in the room waiting for about2 hours to give you a diagnosis. They give you the diagnosis and they refuse to give you medicine to treat the problem. All they can say is refer to your PCP what if I do not want to go to the PCP I went to you guys for a reason to get cured and you're not giving me the medicine to get cured? These people don't know what they're doing. They leave a PA to be in charge of everything. Who does that? Overall I wouldn't recommend this office this office is dirty, professional and also they're really don't care about giving medication for the correct diagnosis that you are supposed to be treated for so basically you're wasting your co-pay money for nothing. read more

Let me begin with the workers seem very nice when you first speak with them. We did all the right things, waiting for the text messages to register, then waiting for the call to actually go in. It should have been quick, in, get tested, and out. We got there at 10:30. When we got there, they were trying to figure out who called to tell us to come in because it wasn't one of the front staff. They asked us to fill out papers and go back in at 11. Of course there will be delays, so we were understanding when it took 35 mins to call my husband to the back and then another 20 mins for me to get called to the back. My husband spent 30 mins waiting in his room before he was seen. He then went outside to wait for me. I waited in the room over 40 mins before I went out to ask if someone was coming. I was told by the nurse who brought me into the room that there was some sort of emergency and that was the delay. There was one more patient to be seen before me. I explained that we had been there since 10:30 and had left work for this. She said there is nothing she can do. Over an hour later, 1pm (a total of 2.5 hrs).. I still haven't been seen! *They have Cheaper by the Dozen 2 playing on repeat and I've gone through the whole movie and am watching it again!! UPDATE: I went out after another 15 mins and found the NP who did the test for my husband. He apologized for thr delay and after a little bit, came in himself, did the test and let me leave. If I could give Care Now a 0, I would. Jan 9 of this year, my mom went to Care Now suffering from flu-like symptoms. Care Now didn't even give my mom a Covid 19 test. My mom was not satisfied with the Care Now diagnosis and took a home test and tested positive for Covid. Meanwhile the same day, my dad was rushed off in an ambulance and taken to the ER. My dad tested positive for Covid and has been in the hospital for 3 days now. read more

I went in as I had been having pain in my hands and wrists. I was afraid that I might have rheumatoid arthritis. I went in and they told me that they were going to give me a prescription for swelling and they did bloodwork test and they would call me back within 3 to 5 days with results As this was the only way to see if I had rheumatoid arthritis. I waited seven days before finally calling them to see if my bloodwork results were in. She proceeded to tell me that I have not been into their office that I went into another location. I said no I'm calling the correct office that I visited in Grand Prairie. She took about 2 to 3 minutes and put me on hold and finally came back on and said that oh yeah you did visit us. Then I asked her about my blood work. They had me on the phone waiting for about 15 minutes before finally getting an RN on the phone. She told me that my bloodwork came out fine and that I needed to stay on the treatment that they had given me for six weeks. And if the pain persisted to come back. She also proceeded to tell me not to drink anymore alcohol. I told her I don't drink any alcohol at all. She then told me that oh well just in case you drink don't drink. I thought this was crazy at this point because they have you fill out a chart with all your information. Had she looked through my file she would've seen that. Then she told me not to take any Tylenol sifting this time. I told her but wait what am I supposed to due for my pain. My pain in my hands is very strong. She said hold on let me talk to the lady that did your test. She then put me on a hold for about 6 to 7 minutes and finally came back on and said oh yeah she said you can take Tylenol. Now two weeks have gone by and my pain is getting stronger and stronger. It's like they don't even care! read more

Went in at 9:30am husband not feeling well chills and shivering for 3 days, we checked in and was told we could go home and wait it will be about 1 1/2 hrs. No problem, we live close, we get home 10 min later they call to come back ,make us wait in waiting room for another 40 min. My husband went to the desk to see what happened and they said they were going to call him back. 10 min later they called him back only to put us in a cold room to wait for the Doctor. Waiting another hour I go to see what's going on and they said O sorry the doctor had to do a procedure, I said why did you call us back like you were ready?? In the meantime my husband is going down hill and really shivering. So I go back to the desk and nobody around, as I walked around looking for someone Amanda was enjoying here lunch, it's now 12pm. Minde you she was also the one at the front desk. I asked her for a blanket because my husband was now shivering allot. She jumped up like she was going to look for one , I could tell by the look on her face there was no blankets in the building. This I didn't understand. Anyway I gave my jacket to my husband. And all the employees here are acting as if this is all normal no common courtesy for people or their time . I could have taken better care for him at home. This is the worst place ever for medical help!!!!!! Then the doctor came in asked what was going so we told him , he took x rays of lungs and said looks like pneumonia and flu I'll give you a prescription and come back for follow up tomorrow, he just didn't sound really confident in what he was saying so I asked him to refer us to a emergency room, we came to Methodist Mansfield and my husband was diagnosed with flu, pneumonia and sepsis. Very positive experience during my visit to this location on January 30th, 2019. I used web check in to schedule an appointment for my daughter (she informed me she was not feeling well when I picked her up from school). I was pleased at the response time from CareNow, I completed the web check in process in the school parking lot and did not make it home when I received a call informing me to report to the clinic. Once we arrived to the clinic, the wait time was very short (10 minutes) to be assigned to an exam room. The nurse who conducted the pre-assessment of my daughter was extremely pleasant and had a caring bedside manner. She was very thorough and it was obvious she enjoys taking care of patients. Dr. Omotola is wonderful! The minute Dr. Omotola entered the room, he made us feel at ease, he took his time to talk to my daughter to assess her condition and conducted necessary testing to determine what type of medication(s) were appropriate to treat her ailment. We did not feel rushed with Dr. Omotola, it was nice to not feel like a number or feel rushed or not heard. It truly shows Dr. Omotola enjoys helping people and takes pride in his work as a Physician. Thank you Dr. Omotola for your kind, caring spirit and professionalism, my daughter feels great and is back at 100%! We appreciate you and your staff! read more

My job ended recently. I have no health insurance, so I already knew I would be paying a ton of money. No surprise there. I spent 4 days at home trying to self medicate before finally deciding to get checked out. I called ahead to inquirE about wait times and was advised that it was taking about 1.5 to 2 hours. The operator told me I could do a web check in online so I could wait at home which I did. Sure enough, an hour and 45 minutes later I got a call asking me to come by. I arrived, filled out paperwork, waited 10 minutes and was called to the back. Everyone was super nice and friendly from the front desk, the nurse, the X-Ray Tech, the gentleman who administered my breathing treatment and steroid shot, and the doctor who properly diagnosed me! When I checked out to pay, I had already received a text that my prescriptions were ready for pickup at my pharmacy. This was the best experience at an urgent care clinic that I've ever had. Especially on a Saturday. And my health is much better (with meds and treatment). read more

Wife had all the flu symptoms and scheduled a web-checkin yesterday. Waited several hours for a callback or text and didn't get one. Called in, they said they were backed up and would be calling shortly, but never did. Finally got tired of waiting, so we drove in, only to find out one of the day schedulers had canceled her appointment, with a note in the record saying they had called her and she asked for the cancellation, when she did not! No record in her phone of any missed calls. We waited over 6 hours, only to be told, "We can see you but you'll be at the back of the line..." The evening scheduler was completely unhelpful, unapologetic and unsympathetic to the situation. I ended up driving her 15 min away to another clinic (NOT a CareNow) that got us in right away as a walk-in. Much nicer people, cleaner facility and they took great care of my wife. Avoid this place, or if you insist on going, be aware your web check-in might get canceled on you! As for us, this is the last straw in a string of bad experiences at this facility. read more

Misdiagnosed me terribly and dismissed my work comp too early and told me that I could go back to full duty without getting the proper diagnosis I was told that what was going on with me was no longer related to my injury and referred me to my private practitioner I went to see my private practitioner who referred me to see a foot and ankle specialist the foot and ankle specialist ordered an MRI the MRI showed both a torn ligament and stress fractures as well as a hairline fracture clearly caused by my injury I'm in a brace and back on crutches but thank God I've got the real diagnosis now Very very disappointed with CareNow all the pain and suffering could've been avoided as long as its lasted if only they had provided the proper diagnosis and treatment read more

The providers had no clue that 2 patients were even waiting in the lobby. The providers had to call the help desk to even be able to see the patients. Don't come here. I checked in for my appointment at 5pm and didn't leave until 9:30pm. All I needed was a strep test, which takes 15 minutes, but I literally think they forgot about me in the room. When the doctor finally came to tell me my results, she was short with me and put zero effort into finding out what was wrong with me. I suggest that you sign in online and call in to have an idea of the wait time. They will call u the first time about 20mins-1hr to let u know the wait time and the 2nd time they call u is to tell you they are ready for u. The first time I came here was because I had mastitis, second time was two weeks ago because my toddler busted his forehead and had an open wound, third time my husband had a flu. Awesome Service! I used the convenient web check in, they called back right away and let me know there wasn't a wait and I could head in. Which was awesome because I had just gotten off of a 12 hour work shift! They kindly ushered me through the check in, weigh in and got all my stats. Listened to my symptoms and then the kind Dr. Michael Omotola diagnosed me and gave me the meds I needed. From online check in to diagnosis was less than 30 mins, and I live 10 mins away! Yes you do the math! Awesome... I shall head off to sleep now Bc that 12 hour work shift kicked my butt. I went to CareNow for covid-19 testing. I was feeling terrible. I had already been to the ER, got tested, but the results came back unresolved and I had to hunt it down because no one called me....plus one of the nurses was extremely rude. However, CareNow was completely different. Dr Cynthia D. McKinney showed concern, professionalism and kindness. I went back today for covid retesting and she was there again today, she remembered who I was and showed the same level of care and concern. Use the web to schedule my appointment but didn't get to go in until 2 1/2 hours later then have to wait for another two more hours before I could be seen. This defeats the purpose of care now. DO NOT COME TO THIS CLINIC!! If you don't have insurance, all they want is your money. You're better going elsewhere, and get better service. I came in for an infected insect bite. I couldn't see our family doctor (closed on Sunday), so I came here. It was so painful that I just had to see someone. Total wait time was 3 HOURS before I got to see anyone. Then I saw the nurse practitioner, in less than 10 minutes she prescribed me antibiotics, told me to come back for a follow-up in 2 days, then left. That was it. I asked the receptionist how much will my follow up cost, and she said it already came with the cost of how much I had initially paid. OK. Today, came in for my follow up. Again, total wait time 3 HOURS and saw the NP for less than 10 minutes, and she didn't really do anything but put on gloves and took a look at my bites. Got charged an additional $98 for this "follow-up" that they claimed was a recheck. Well, what the hell is the difference between a follow-up and a recheck?? I asked the receptionists and they couldn't explain that to me. They took my temperature with this instrument rolled across my forehead. The nurse didn't even wipe it clean before and after she took my temperature and just placed it back in the tray. That's just GROSS! Makes me wonder what else they don't clean in that clinic. While waiting in the room, I saw a roach crawling around the floor. GROSS!! So I'm out $200 and 6 hours of my life for just sitting there to WAIT. I was waay better off not coming back for this "follow-up/recheck." I will be calling their corporate office and demand these terms be defined to me. I told them I will not be coming back. My time table will prove everything: Web check- in at 6am, received a call at 7:46am telling me to head to the clinic, arrived 8am sharp, took my D.L. and insurance card 8:01, filled out paperwork and turned it into registrar 8:03, nurse called me back for vitals check and placed me into a room 8:06, Dr. Gill came in 8:11, received prescriptions and discharged 8:23. I've been to a few different CareNow locations and they're all pretty much the same. I suggest checking in online prior to leaving your home because the wait can be pretty brutal. I received a call from the clinic about 5 minutes after I logged in online. I only had to wait 5 minutes once I filled out my paperwork.There was some wait once they took me to the examination room but overall it was a simple process (I was in and out in about 45 min). They were playing some Hillary Duff movie and I thought it was nice that the nurse offered to adjust the volume for me while I waited. I noticed the waiting area had a refreshment station and that there were plenty of seats available. If I catch another cold- I do see myself stopping by again especially since they are open on the weekends. read more

I just wanted to update, I reported this CareNow to the corporate office and the Board of Directors called me directly and send me a check for my full office visit, which was 150.00. They told me that they spoke with the Dr about her bed-side manners and deeply apologized for my experience. Needless to say, I haven't been back, but I will at least consider it now that they at least understand my hardship and listened to my concerns. read more

Call the urgent for an urgent need. Was told it was1.5 hour wait. Waited for two hours and was called. I left home and came to check in. Waited for 30 min before I was called by the nurse. Once my vitals were done by the nurse. I went ahead and took a nap didn't know for how long. Woke up from a nap and I was still waiting for the provider to come in to evaluate me. As I text this message I'm waiting for the doctor or NP/PA. Waste of time. Mind you I'm having a terrible headache. The wait here is worse than an ER wait. read more

I visited CareNow last week to provide my roomie some moral support as she was having some chest pain. My experience here was fairly positive. I arrived when she was already in the back, but they allowed the nurse to come get me and escort me to the room she was waiting in. I appreciated that. The wait to check-out was long, but according to my roomie, the check-in and check-out wait times weren't that bad. Before she had arrived she was able to check in online, which shortened her wait time to 30 minutes. Her visit last week was her second visit--after her first she did some testing and her only complaint was that it took a long time for the doctors at CareNow to get the results from the other office. My roomie had to call CareNow frequently to check the status of her results. The nurses are okay for the most part. Unfortunately in a situation like this, the doctors and nurses can only tell you what's wrong based on what you tell them. It is worth it to see the same doctor regularly who knows your medical history, etc. However, we all know that scheduling doctor's appointments can be inconvenient and not always timely. When you can't wait three weeks to see your doctor, there are at least urgent care centers like CareNow that can do the job. Something I didn't know by waiting in the lobby was that there are actually two waiting rooms. If yo have more of an emergency condition, you will be directed to an emergency waiting room in the back of the building (that you cannot see from the front). Went in for a diagnosis which I already knew I had a sinus infection just needed a prescription. Sure enough I have a sinus infection dr prescribed me with 2 cough medicines and a general antibiotic for acne!!! I went in on 2/21 it's 2/24 I still feel the exact same the day I went in!! Now none of the nurses or doctors are available?! Why would they give me acne medicine for acute sinusitis? I will never use this location again! My advice is make sure you look up your prescription before you leave the office! read more
