When I arrived there was no line, so maybe I got lucky, just one couple in front of me already inside the shop. Take a number and wait your turn. It's worth it.
Sandwiches are made on pizza bianca, a crisp and chewy flatbread native to Rome. They will fill your sandwich with whatever you like, and then weigh the sandwich to price it out. I got mortadella, stracciatella, pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. The sandwich was phenomenal, so delicious and memorable that I recreated it when I got home to the US, bread and all.
The sandwiches may seem simple but the ingredients are the best around which really takes things to the next level. Don't miss it if you're in Rome.
