I want the best for my puppies, so I asked so many different people where and how they trained their dogs. I received a few suggestions, but decided to do my own search...and I'm glad I did. Leo (Owner) and his amazing team of trainers TRULY care about the pups they train. Leo came to my home and wanted to meet me and my pups before I had to decide on making any decisions. After sitting down with him for about half an hour, I knew I found what I was looking for: Someone who wants me to have healthy and happy dogs. I signed up for the in-home training at first which is Leo coming to the house and training me on how to train my puppies (Archie and Charlie just turned 6 months and started with Leo and his team when they were 4.5). Very quickly, I realized I could not handle training both these puppies the way they needed to be trained. I discussed with Leo and decided to do a Board & Train. I like the schedule because I get to take the puppies on the weekends to spend time with me. Don't get me wrong, you NEED to train your pups on the weekends, but it's worth it and FUN. Archie has become the Puppy King (no offense to other puppies or their owners )). Charlie has a lot more energy, but has improved immensely! Leo's trainers are so caring. I feel my dogs get love with their training when they're not with me, and I couldn't ask for more. I see their excitement whenever I visit about improvements and milestones that Archie and Charlie achieved. They gleam with as much pride as I do. I honestly don't know where my pups OR I would be without the help of this AMAZING Team! If I could give 10 stars out of 5 stars, I would!

Now we are dealing with some type of auto immune issue. We had to get so many tests done and put our dog under so much at such a young life. Special medication and surgeries, you name it. After reading all the reviews I see I'm not alone. We love our dog and thank goodness for pet insurance so we can manage all these unforeseen costs. Our own vet has even told us she has never treated a dog with so many ailments. It's maddening that this business is still up and running. Just makes me sick to see such animal cruelty. Left having to pursue refund with Monrovia Police report and credit card chargeback later this week. What a tremendous waste of time this whole experience has been. This is my 2nd time working with Booker and Bullydogs and I can't believe it has taken me this long…read moreto write a review. Maybe because I wanted to keep Booker to myself -- laughing, but very serious. When I first came to Bullydogs, I was already well down the road with my Pit Bull Blossom. She was in her golden years, but was still very reactive while on walks. Booker was able to give us easy-to-follow tips to make our Golden Girl comfortable, make our walks less stressful, and to give her a safe and fun place to stay when we were out of town. Then, we got our 2nd Pit Bull named Coco Puff. She was 4 when we adopted her and already had some basic obedience, but we discovered that she was having some reactivity issues while on walks, was terrified of the crate so much so she has broken bars off the crate and had hurt herself badly when trying to escape, and was not housebroken. I am not at all kidding when I say that after a weekend of staying with Booker and a week of us following his directives based on what he could tell we were doing wrong, Coco snapped into shape. No more accidents overnight, no more breaking out of the crate, and her reactivity on walks had lessened. We kept up with Booker's program religiously for an additional 2-3 months and Coco became a completely different dog. She (and we) had so much confidence on walks. She stopped reacting to other dogs and now looks to us for direction on what to do next instead of trying to handle a situation on her own, and loves being in her crate. All throughout this time, Booker makes himself available for check-ins, questions and troubleshooting. He is so knowledgeable about dog behavior and how our behavior or insecurities transfer to our dogs. This is key, friends. I could truly go on and on, but I'll just say that I can't recommend Booker and Bullydogs enough. He is a God-send and just has a magical impact on your relationship with you and your dog. You won't be sorry that you decided to work with him.

She gave me very specific advice and also taught me so much more about the dog world. In a way that makes so much sense, I really wish I had the knowledge she gave before I went to the shelter. I have been so lucky to have found Ben and had him work with my 2 year old German Shepherd. I will never forget seeing him with a german shepherd he had trained for years that followed his every command, chasing a frisbee and never taking his eyes off of Ben. When I dropped off my dog at his home for training, he had his border collie lead my dog to him by her leash! It was truly incredible.
