Don't let the 80's vibe put you off. Front desk was super kind and very efficient. Did not wait long to see my patient room, X-rays just down the hall almost immediately. I met with Michael Garland PA first. Very kind, easy to talk to. Reviewed my X-rays, gave me my options, very easy to talk to. Yeah, I'll be back. Great experience.

I then had to wait to schedule this until the injection was approved by Moda. Moda approved Efflexa, a certain brand, but this place doesn't have it. So I had to do the work to call Moda, and even the pharmacy where the injection comes from called me, before I got an approval letter for it. ROC said that they don't carry what was approved. What??????!!! Even Moda was confused. I'm just going to go to another orthopedic. I can't even call to talk to someone. Whoever replies to the texts lacks customer service. It has been about two weeks since I was there!! So Moda said to try someone else. Funny, they mentioned to me that ROC advertised Euflexxa. Tell your employees then. I was so incredibly disappointed.

I found out about Active Edge Physical Therapy from a friend or mine who had great results with that group and so I made an appointment with Chris Woods one of their physical therapists. I have to say this was the best experience and especially the most beneficial treatment I have had for my sciatica. I no longer have the "killer" pain running down my right leg and I have cut back significantly with the pain medication I had been taking. Chris identified my problem right away and began using deep movements, stretching, and strengthening to address the problem. Moreover, the home exercises he prescribed empowered me to improve my problem over a short amount of time and significantly improved my "body awareness." I continue to use these easy at-home exercises on a regular basis; they are life-long lessons that Chris provided specifically for my particular issue. Chris made the sessions both fun and educational too! I have to say too, that the front counter staff at AEPT are wonderful! They provided a complete report of what my insurance would cover BEFORE I started the treatment and were very pleasant to work with. Their facility is located in the beautiful Willamette Historic District in West Linn. I can't thank them enough for the the improvements they have made in my life and especially Chris Woods, thanks Chris you are wonderful!!! My medical records were FAX'd to the wrong number 3 times. When I was finally able to get the staff to verify the fax number and the clinic finally received the referral, the staff called the clinic and told them I no longer wanted to be seen. It took from Aug. 10th to Nov. 29th to be seen by a much needed doctor. The clinic has constantly denied any of this. I wouldn't trust them or Dr. Meigs with the time of day. I believe there are reasons for this clinic remaining an independent clinic. They have messed up my medical records so bad that I am having trouble finding a new PCP.

My friend has prostate cancer and this doctor simply sent him a letter telling him that he won't see him anymore with no explanation. He had the further nerve to post this letter to my friends online chart, presumably to help other doctors blacklist him. The real problem? My friend wanted to see the doctor when he did not have an official appointment. Most Doctors do want to help find cures and/or help heal. This one apparently only wants patients who don't have any major problems.
