I have been a patient of Dr. Eric Blake for over 3 years. I do not do many reviews but I can…read morehonestly say that Dr. Blake has transformed the way I view health and my body. I came to him in 2013 with various issues. The first was that I had Plantar Fasciitis in my foot that had been bothering me since 2010 (after the birth of my son). I had been through physical therapy, had gone to several orthopedists and gotten very painful cortisone shots that worked for a few months and then I would be in pain again. What Dr. Blake did was not try to just fix the symptoms but address various things that might be causing me pain. This was a whole body approach. On top of my foot pain, I was also fatigued, overweight, tired, etc. - This called for an entire system overhaul. It started with him looking at my blood under a microscope and what he saw was not good. There was alot of inflammation and toxicity in my system. We discussed my diet and lifestyle and I went on a purification cleanse for a few weeks. I felt amazing after and this started my 3 year journey with Dr. Blake to get healthier. I wish I could post the before and after pictures of my blood but it looked totally different. Dr. Blake has a variety of tools and modalities that he uses to help in overall health. There is a nutritionist on staff and everyone works together to formulate an overall plan and strategy toward health. Weather one is overweight, has digestive, heart, kidney, liver, back issues, arthritis...he has a plan for everything. I only go to him now when I get sick (my MD has not seen me in almost 3 years) and he is a master at getting me better fast! The staff here is kind and committed to this kind of medicine and I am always amazed at their knowledge. My final note is to say that this is not a quick fix place. Overhauling ones health takes a certain amount of commitment. Changing ones diet and lifestyle is an ongoing endeavor and what I love about Dr. Blake is that he doesn't judge when you backslide (it happens to many) but instead gently steers you back onto the right course and into habits that will be better for you and help your overall health.

The pain was so strong that made me limp all the time, especially once I would get up from sitting position. Within 3 weeks of concentrated acupuncture appointments, during September 2017 with Sara Wickstrom, licensed practitioner, took care of my pain and I stopped limping. It was almost like a miracle. I had to leave Portland area for 3 months and I started feeling some discomfort and could not wait to return to G&L Acupuncture. I have been back since late November and enjoy my visit with Sarah. A new feature of their services is that their office can accept Care Oregon insurance and if you need acupuncture, the Oregon state insurance does not have limits on number of visits. Hilltop Chiropractic review…read more My name is Tabatha, I went in for care at another chiropractor and I had 3 sessions and on the third session he dislocated my mid to upper back area, so I went looking for a new chiropractor.. I found Hilltop Chiropractic and when I first walked in I felt like it was a breath of fresh air. Everyone was extremely nice and really cared about what previously happened to me. We took X-rays and saw what was going on. It was an amazing session each time and I looked forward to going. Every time it was pain free and very relieving. I also got the electric therapy and they always made sure I was comfortable. I unfortunately had to leave hilltop because we had to evacuate out of Oregon and I only had a few sessions left. I found one here where I am now staying I told my new chiropractor everything that happened to me in the past and we got updated X-rays, and I was over joyed of how amazing my spine looked. Dr. Bowles knows what he's doing and he took very good care of me and was always very kind. (Which helps A LOT when you're scared and in pain) it reassured me everything would be okay and it was! He did an amazing job and I swear by this chiropractor. I never got to properly thank them because we had to evacuate. I HIGHLY suggest going. He did his job and he did it well! Thank you!! Seriously a blessing after what happened to me with my first one. You saved me. You have no idea how grateful I am.
