It takes only about an hour. On a good day of Oregon like today September 15 it's truly a blast. Soak up the sun, get river breeze, being humans with real social. No judgements around. Couldn't get any better. Even our teenager loves it for his first 9 holes -either we are lucky parents or this place is really a magical. Bring your fizzy drink and finger food. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very rude man at the front desk who made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed for simply not knowing where the café was. When we gave him our tee time, he rudely responded, "You mean right now?" as if we were doing something wrong. There were four people ahead of us in line, and we had arrived on time. The delay was not our fault. Once we finally made it to the front, another staff member told me I couldn't play because I didn't have my own golf clubs and that they were too busy. If the course was too busy to accommodate guests, perhaps they shouldn't have been booking so many people. At that point, we were so frustrated by the attitude and lack of hospitality that we considered not golfing at all. When we finally made our way to the tee box, the marshal was rushing us along. My friends teed off, only to be unable to take their next shots because other groups were still on the green. After all the unnecessary urgency and rude treatment, we ended up waiting at practically every single hole anyway. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad first impression.

There's one spot, with a bit of a blind shot and you gotta ring a bell to let the group behind you - "okay to tee off" Look up and you may see some skydivers descending.

Their online reservation system can be confusing when there are changes after the online reservation is made for something such as a senior discount. In order to get a simple $12 refund, it took me 4 phone calls and two in-person visits over a period of 3 weeks. One or two people said they'd refund to my credit card; nothing happened. The next person said they don't refund to credit cards, but instead would "give me a credit to my golf course account". Never happened. The next person said they don't give credits to golf course accounts and they'd refund to my credit card. Nope. I finally happened upon a person (by sheer luck) who said they'd take care of it and actually did; a refund to my credit card. She said she corrected the reservation to the correct time, 10:50AM. I asked her to repeat all of the details and she did. I said, "perfect". I hung up, retaining some doubt about her competence.
