With this place being the only possible spot in town to carry them, I rolled the dice, stopped in, and became pleasantly surprised when there was not just one, but two options. The price was also "marked down" 50% on both so what would have been a $120 pair cost me only $60. They also had sizes 11.5 and 12 in both. Another surprise. The only thing they didn't have was a pair of nylon socks, so I rolled the dice again and took a dirty, likely germ-infested sock from the used sock box and hoped to leave without getting plantar warts or else some other unrecognizable fungus. Three days later and I haven't had to visit either the podiatrist or dermatologist. Before entering the store, I got distracted by the sales rack and ended up picking up a $10 t-shirt and a $32 pair of running shorts inside (not on sale). The cashier/manager told me he could save me 20% on my total at the counter by simply providing my name and address. Not my email address, which would have likely resulted in me getting bombarded with unwanted spam, but my physical address. Easy enough. My total came to just under $90 and I left one happy shopper.

Bit by bit as things broke or wore out I brought my bike into Frontenac Cycle for repairs. All parts that were replacing the worn out original parts were a definite upgrade in quality. As of this review my pedals, sealed cartridge bearings, freewheel, handle bars, ergo grips and thumb shifters have all been upgraded and the cost did not break the bank. I have been very impressed with the professional knowledgeable staff and hope to have a long enjoyable cycling relationship with Frontenac Cycle. It's nice to know these days where you can go for great service at a very good price . p.s. my bike now is nothing like it was when I bought it new,it is so much better.

The guy that dealt with me was really friendly, and assured me that they'd have things tuned up and ready to get back on the road by the next afternoon. Excellent. When I arrived back to pick it up, they almost let me leave without paying, which was a funny moment, but after things were settled up, I was able to see that they did a great job servicing my ride. I'll be coming back in future for sure. There is also a good selection of gear and accessories, so if you are looking for fenders, racks, gloves, locks, or lights, they likely have something to meet your needs.

We HAD to make BSE a definite stop to check out. Surprisingly when we got there this was more than a coffee shop for sure, it was such a time to see the concept of this place; a hybrid between Skate Shop + Coffee Shop. Definitely a creative merge of two different concepts and what a VIBE! They have an incredible collection of skate boards, clothing and foot wear... as well as a SICK little coffee shop in the middle of it. Make sure if you are here to try their Lemon Drop. This was our first time having a drink like this and let me tell you the idea of Lemonade and coffee together have never crossed my mind, but WOW! It was so refreshing, yet a great deal of energy boost. Enjoyed better with their delicious matcha cookie and nutella tart. Service was superb! It felt like meeting a new friend for the first time and hitting it off naturally. What a great way to make someone feel welcome to their establishment, also ask for their recommendations! Some of us tried different drinks too, like their Thai iced coffee and we were so pleased with the recommendation. After we all grabbed our coffees, we noticed they had a patio in the back, so we decided to chill there and take a break before continuing with our day. It was such a quirky and cali warm vibe there, we almost wanted to stay all afternoon!! We loved this place so much, we had to come back again before we headed back to Toronto on Sunday for a second round of their Lemon Drop! I still think about it to this day. The coffee is also amazing and it's served by some personable and friendly baristas that are very knowledgeable about the store's products.
