Worst customer service I ever dealt with. I bought a trailer and when I hooked up a brake controller on it, I found out the brakes were dangerously tight. The wheels locked and skidding making the trailer sway. The guy told me this wasn't dangerous!!! Instead of standing behind their product and making the simple brake adjustment, I was told I could pay more for the product I already purchased. 0 stars if possible. They seem like great guys when you are buying but are the biggest rudest a-holes when it comes to service. read more

if I could give them no stars I would. as we had already selected our trailer and in the process of applying and had already gotten approved for the trailer we wanted, the guy next to us sold it to a couple who had arrived AFTER us. The wife and I were in the market for a small utility trailer for her business. We shopped around online for both new and used. I saw an add for a new 6'x10' for a pretty good price, not much higher than used ones we've seen. We made the drive and we were pleasantly greeted, asked about our needs and showed around the different trailers and all our questions were answered. We spent a little more going with a new trailer, but we bought it with confidence knowing that it comes under warranty, there are tons of trailers plus stores around the country and they service them as well. The staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable, they do finance as well. I just don't know who they use or how their process works. We are very happy with our purchase and if we are ever in the market for another, we will definitely come back! read more

Terrible customer service! Don't waste time with these jokers! First they said we could only view their trailers by appointment (no biggie) and then, when we showed up for the appointment we booked, they said they were double booked and couldn't help us! They were so rude and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or offer another time. The guy acted like they didn't give two Fs about their customers! Big mistake for them as we will never shop here for trailers in the future and we are a national construction company that is continually growing and frequently in the market. I've never been so disgusted with a sales experience. We bought a trailer from the Denver location and less than 24 hrs later we had an emergency that required us to return the trailer. Not only did they not call us back but when we called to speak to the owner, he refused to speak with us. We were forwarded to corporate in Idaho and the woman was just as flippant and told us we would never be allowed to speak with the owner and we need to be okay with their decision. Not only were they rude but all they care about is the sale. They lack customer service and we will not be dealing with Trailers Plus again. Should've purchased local. read more

I owned one of their products for 12 years. Here's why you should not buy one in Colorado: 1. They are not insured for all types of maintenance and service in Colorado. To have the roof, vent or anything above ground level repaired, they do not carry fall insurance for their sales and "service" locations such as the one in Aurora. Therefore, they must return the trailer to a factory. Kingman, AZ is the closest with a $900 cost of transport. I had a skylight / vent that needed replacement and they could not do the work. 2. They will not sell parts to customers who already own trailers on a credit card without making and keeping a copy of your driver's license. This is a bad idea for identity protection and makes no sense as a policy. Who else does this for parts and service sales? Ford or Toyota? Nope. They would not sell a part to me without a copy of my driver's license and I was already a customer and in their system. I refused and sold the trailer at a loss. They would not do the service or sell me parts on fair and standard terms. Colorado buyers should look for a different dealer / manufacturer. Caveat Emptor. read more

I purchased a 6x12 Interstate trailer for my company in May. Unfortunately for me I believed the sales pitch from representative about the quality of the trailer and craftsmanship. Less than 30 miles and 1 week of ownership before this trailer needed to be returned for "warranty work". The hinges do not allow the barn doors to open flat along the side of the trailer, rather they sit at roughly a 70 degree angel. This alone is a joke as it blocks the sidewalk if parked on a street (not good for a professional). On top of that the pressure caused by the hinges hitting the corner bead broke the heads of the screws holding this trim piece on. When asked I was told this is a normal functioning trailer and they see nothing wrong. After talking to 2 different people about this I finally got some acknowledgement that that is probably not how it is supposed to work. I had to leave the trailer for repairs. the next day I received a call stating that the repairs were done and trailer was ready to pick up. 24 hrs later I went to get it and was surprised to find out that not only was the work not done but it had not been started yet. So I sat and waited to about two hours for the work to be complete. during this time the sales man, I believe he is the manager, that I had dealt with initially was on "lunch", so I was unable to discuss any of the problems. The final straw was the repair its self. The corner beads were replaced and new screws were put in, sounds good right, but no. Rather than actually do a good job the new trim was bent around the old broken off screws that they decided to leave in place. Now I have to take the trailer in for more repairs just to a different location. It is clear that this company does not care about its customers or reputation and unfortunately the sale is complete so i have no recourse. I do not recommend this store or this company to anyone. read more
