Way to over-priced, and it takes forever to get anything done. I bought a Cub Cabet X1 42 in cut from Home Depot. After my first use, I had to have it serviced, because something had failed. Took it to the only place Cub Cadet would pay to have the warranty work done on it. Not only did I take in when they first opened, but it took 3 entire days, before they called and said it was done (I also had a new blade put on, for the terrian I mow,) They called me at 450pm, and told me I needed to pick it up by 530. Well, I lived about an hr drive from there, and I told them so, and they told me if I wasn't able to pick it up that day, they had a holding charge of $25? day, and I would have to pay that, as well as what the warranty didn't cover. As I got towards the end of the yr, I asked if they had an end of year special of servicing mowers, and they said they doid. Yea, No, cost me about $300 when all said and done (end of yr service, clean deck, and put on a new blade.) And each time we went there, their service team seemed to be more and more rude, plus the prices went up tremdousily. So, after 2 yrs of dealing with them, my wife and I learned how to do the servicing ourselves. And, if we have any questions, we call our son-in-law, as he now works with small engines and mowers all the time now. read more

Took my new Cub cadet zero turn in for factory authorized service after the PTO quit working. They advised they were busy and it could take up to a week to repair. I was surprised to get a text from them the following morning stating the mower was ready. It was a warranty issue and they took care of all the claim paperwork for me. Astonished that this place can actually be in business. I went in to trade in a mower and purchase a new model from them as well, fully knowing that I wouldn't get much and ok with it. The front desk was the rudest person I have ever met, I remained calm after her condescending tones, actually asked her if it was a burden I could come back some other time, asked this 2 times during the time she took the info for my current mower. I was being overly nice just trying to "kill them with kindness", didn't help. Needless to say before they could even give me a price for the trade in the manager called me a lier...simply said that because of the trailer (borrowed from a friend to transport, didn't even have the proper hookup) I was using that it was being used as a commercial mower, and all I do is use it on my lawn. So after being treated like dirt for over an hour, for only trying to do business with them, then being called a lier, I didn't even entertain an offer from this subpar facility, buttoned up my mower and went home. The guy actually said I shouldn't be mad about the offer and we should talk about it, but they had never even presented an offer for the mower. I explained clearly the fact that I had never been treated this way as a customer, anywhere, anytime...the gentleman still didn't get it and wanted to argue with me about why I was leaving. They just don't get customer service. Will never recommend this place to anyone, for anything. I want to shop local, so this is a shame, and will always pay more to deal with a company that has honesty and operates with integrity. This place has neither. They went way beyond expectations from helping us to pull in our big rig, to jumping into action to get us back on the road quickly while being very detailed to the best fix for our problem. Pricing was very fair and they stayed past hours to make sure we were good to go. Can't say enough. And it is always awesome to support family owned companies. While traveling our trailers wheel bearing went out so we ended up in Wichita Kansas around 1 am. First thing in the morning we called and they fit us in. Not only were they able to fix it, but gave us the option to pick up the part to save money. We weren't able to pick them up, but it was done when he said it would be. The worst experience I have ever had as far as customer service!! Trailers and more are disorganized and completely not customer focused. Spending a good sum of money on a brand new riding mower I was treated like crap when taking it in for the supposed free check up and oil change. What a mess that was, didn't check mower as promised and yes changed oil but people there where rude and hateful and damaging my tailgate on my truck getting it in and out of truck. I had my wife call in to make sure that I could have an appointment but she was told no appointment needed so I brought it in before work as I work second shift and had to wait almost 2 hours to get a simple check up and oil change. Getting treated like crap I asked the person that loaded my mower back in the truck what did you find? All ok? He said shit I don't know I just do oil changes... Wow... Then the owner came outside to my truck and had the nerve to ask me what was wrong, I proceeded to tell him then he got hateful and yelling at me and said he doesn't get paid to do warranty work so deal with it. Never again, this place wants your business but can't stand behind it. Furthermore before sending this review I was expecting an apology fr the owner, but nothing... I contacted Cub Cadet about this issue and also nothing... So next step is coming and not going eve goo for trailers and more as a simple apology would have made a huge difference!! This was my first time doing business with them, we had two mowers , one needed new tires and the other needed the self propel fixed, 10 days later they finally call us to tell us they're ready and they did not fix a single thing we asked for. They put new tires on the wrong mower and didn't even touch the other one and we were charged $160 for all the work. Dale and the other employees had very poor customer service skills and they all seemed like they couldn't care less that they did not do what we asked. The only person that was helpful was the mechanic that came out to explain the work that was done on it. If you need lawn mower repair definitely reconsider using this business. read more

Absolute worst service in Wichita. Completely inattentive to your needs. I bought the most expensive mower they sell. Over $8000! Have not been able to get my concerns met a single time in 5 years. Latest was the last straw. Mechanic comes into the display area, literally had to step out of his way to keep from being run over, twice!! No apology, nothing. I contacted this business (talking with the owner, in fact) because I had a brake controller that wasn't working correctly. I explained that I wanted to have the wiring checked between the controller and trailer pigtail receiver at the hitch for any shorts or opens. He said they would call me when they had an opening in their schedule and be able to accommodate my request. They called later that day and so I went back there, bringing with me a couple towing parts that I had purchased online about a month earlier not knowing exactly where my problem might be. I go back over there and they take my truck into the shop. A short time later Dale Hutchison (owner) comes in and growls "did you just buy those parts?!". I suffer from Tinnitus due to an incident that occurred during my Army Service, and so did not hear the word "just" in his question, and when I replied "yes" he lost his temper. Yelling that he wasn't going to be jerked around by anyone and didn't have to tolerate people treating him like this! I was in shock at his behavior so can't say exactly word for word, but he blew a gasket and pulled my vehicle immediately out of the shop bay. This is not a place I will EVER refer anyone to needing help with towing solutions. UPDATE: got out my test light and Ohm meter later that week, and found brake wire had an open at the junction block before pigtail socket. NO PARTS REPLACED. PROBLEM SOLVED. Trailer brakes now functioning again perfectly. read more

I hate writing Yelps at times... because unless I write something positive about a business, I feel bad. Thing is, this business is not a place you probably want to take your trailer to for any type of work. In my humble opinion, it's a place that takes and doesn't give. As my father used to tell me, don't sign anything unless you make sure you read the small print. That applies to this business. They rely on the small print to make them money. Why? Because if you to their place of business with a trailer, they're NOT going to diagnosis it for free. And they're not going to tell you that either. They won't do anything for FREE. These people are all about the money, and NOT the customer. If I were you, I'd look at another business to work on a trailer, and as always, remember, buyer beware. As always read the small print before you SIGN ANYTHING because they are going to CHARGE you for anything and everything they do or don't do. I don't have a problem with any business getting paid for doing something, but when you APPLY the diagnosis fee to your total bill, only if you buy or have them do repair work, I consider that a form of bribery which to me is horrific. That's why if you go to their business and you just SIGN their document, and you leave your trailer, you're going to get ripped if their estimate is too HIGH for you. That's just the way it works for them. They're a business and they're not going to do anything for FREE. They are there to make money and not waste time on relationships. There are lots of good trailer companies out there. People that care about people. Unfortunately, I do not consider this place a good place to do business with. in my opinion I would rethink going to this business. My last thought is this. They are very proud of their service and parts , by that i mean expensive . i went in to there store to buy a part don't even remember what it was asked them if they could check my 6pin to rv 7 pin adapter real quick , which i know any decent shop has a tester that cost a whole $40 to do this at the most . i was told they could check it but it would be shop time $65 an hour . it would have taken 2 mins at the most but i checked it myself with a test light. they don't have parts for anything bigger than a lawn trailer on hand they get them from Redneck trailer supplies for the bigger stuff as far as i know i heard them talking on the phone to them , so might as well skip the middle man and go to Redneck which i have had excellent service from and they had the parts in stock. they can farm your alignment on your trailer out to Atlas spring and axle if you would like to pay the middle man price or just skip it . renting a trailer talk about crazy $1400 for a week for an enclosed to haul motorcycles . ? thats just what i heard while i was waiting for my part. do not quote me on that . read more
