If I could give 10 stars I would. I was building a fence and needed a post hole digger and was told…read moreby FOUR different people to call the HRC and get the digger from them. I called and reserved the digger and they were very knowledgeable and patient when explaining it to me. The real customer service started when I returned the equipment on the Tuesday afternoon Memorial Day. I got off from work and took it back around 4:00 pm. As I was leaving the young man at the counter told me that it was actually due at 8:30 that morning and I would need to pay an additional fee. I told him that I wasn't aware of this and got out my wallet to pay and he asked me if I had to work that day and that is why I was late getting it back and I said yes. He told me not to worry about it and didn't make me pay. I was appreciative but insisted on paying because it stated clearly at the top of the invoice when it was to be back and it was definitely my fault. He insisted that I was okay and he would wave the charge. In a world like we have today it is GREAT to see such great customer service. I will never rent from anywhere else and I will never recommend anyplace else to anyone. I don't care if you live in Maize or Goddard it is worth the drive to the HRC. You don't get very many good people in retail anymore but these are definitely some of the few. I have told this story to a dozen people already. Go there and pass all the rest.

Way to over-priced, and it takes forever to get anything done. I bought a Cub Cabet X1 42 in cut…read morefrom Home Depot. After my first use, I had to have it serviced, because something had failed. Took it to the only place Cub Cadet would pay to have the warranty work done on it. Not only did I take in when they first opened, but it took 3 entire days, before they called and said it was done (I also had a new blade put on, for the terrian I mow,) They called me at 450pm, and told me I needed to pick it up by 530. Well, I lived about an hr drive from there, and I told them so, and they told me if I wasn't able to pick it up that day, they had a holding charge of $25? day, and I would have to pay that, as well as what the warranty didn't cover. As I got towards the end of the yr, I asked if they had an end of year special of servicing mowers, and they said they doid. Yea, No, cost me about $300 when all said and done (end of yr service, clean deck, and put on a new blade.) And each time we went there, their service team seemed to be more and more rude, plus the prices went up tremdousily. So, after 2 yrs of dealing with them, my wife and I learned how to do the servicing ourselves. And, if we have any questions, we call our son-in-law, as he now works with small engines and mowers all the time now.

I explained to her my need & she was very attentive & directed me to the parts manual, we discussed the part she thought was correct. I advised her it didn't look like the part I needed; she went a step further & located my part as it was an older unit & immediately sent me a pic of the exact part I needed. I would like to advise you that she went that extra mile & she made it a pleasure to deal with your company. With associates like Andrea, I fore see your company can only progress positively in sales & customer relations. So many of today's companies lack true, loyal & dedicated associates like Andrea Watts. Again, to reiterate Andrea Watts made my inquiry a very professionally pleasant experience Thank you Jerry Nappi

I bought one of these Hustler mowers. I found used 2015 Hustler raptor sd 54 through a dealer in…read moreConnecticut It had 50 hrs. Was a great mower until 110 hrs when the bolts snapped which hold the transmission cross bracket that holds then entire mower wheels etc. After researching found this .https://www.lawnmowerforum.com/showthread.php/42245-Trans-Cross-brace-broke-Anyone-else. So after my mower broke while cutting lawn I called Hustler and spoke with Allen . Told him issue which he was all aware of this 100% I asked him to just send me the brace which has been totally redesigned with heavier steel and stronger bolts. He told me he couldn't do that. I was extremely upset and asked for manager. He told me he wouldn't let me speak with a manager but would cover it but I would have to go to one of his dealers. I asked to go to where it was first sold which was Goff's in Torrington which had covered my mover previously but I had forgot name but was in his computer. Anyway he sent me somewhere totally different but didn't realize until I got there which was over an hour away from my house.Allen had told me he would cover it . So after 3 full weeks the shop calls to says it is all ready to be picked up so I went on a Sunday. So I get there and after loading machine on trailer owner say come in you have to pay for labor. I say Hustler told me it was covered. He says only the part which is 109$. You owe me 277 which I refused. I called Hustler first thing Monday and again I got Allen at customer service. I told him I wanted to speak with manager. He just hung up on me so I sent email to Hustler. Got different number by a dealer to call and got Andrea which told me a manager would call me. Now it is Wednesday and still no call. Terrible customer service and will never buy a Hustler zero turn mower again. I've owned a Craftsman inwhich I never had any bolts snap or brackets. I will let you know how this turns out after speaking with a manager to see if they do the right thing and cover the repair 100% which Allen told to me in the first place otherwise I would never had driven two hrs if it wasn't fully covered. This transmission bracket has 6 bolts to take off and 8 bolts for the new brace. I'm just wondering why Hustler is not contacting owners to be pro active before the bolts snap which send you flying off machine leaving g you really pissed off after reading a forum inwhich they are 100% aware of. I was told by Hustler customer service that it only happens to 20-30% of my mower . Will let you know how it is resolved!!!
