Ought a set of brake shoes that were four times expensive than another shop. Tried to return them and was charged a 15% restocking fee. These parts were on the shelf and were not special ordered so was pretty much told sorry that's our policy. I could see if they had to order them, but they were in stock so what's the restocking fee for? Hell I would have walked them back to his shelf for him for the $300 he charged me for these overpriced parts Stay away from these scoundrels!!! I walk in only to be greeted by Mr. Attitude (John), sorry to inconvenience him from doing his job, wait what IS his job? Customer service? I mean I could understand if I walked in being an ass but I didn't. So Mr. Personality was getting off the clock so he pawned me off to his co-worker who has obviously been taking lesson from John on customer service. I mean these guys are the experts right? So I told him what I was wanting to do and he looked at me like I was from another planet, no offering of ideas to give me direction. I ended leaving with a part that I could have done without but I figured one less step to deal with later. Funny thing is the guy sitting in the office even mentioned his fellow employees attitude (snarky) regarding my questions about the set up for the spindles. I heard today the Vegas Trailer Supply is going out of business, that's too bad because I'd really like to continue giving them my business then Trailer Tech..... And these other reviews that are high rated must have been the next day after these guys got lucky the night before. read more

These guys were up front and honest with me from he get go. They were unable to help me with my particular trailer hitch problem, but they were very quick to accurate diagnose the issue and offered a few of the options that they thought could work. I would recommend. One thing to note however, while in the store two people walked in for parts and wanted the parts installed. They sale the parts, they DO NOT INSTALL THE PARTS. read more

A few years ago I was searching the Internet for hours. I needed a hitch for my Ford Escape. After a few hours and a few days. I finally made a phone call in town. I don't know why I didn't do this earlier. I googled and found Trailer Tech. I gave them a call and asked for a quote on the hitch. They beat the Internet price by at least $40. I also was happy to support a local business. I went over and ordered the hitch and got it in a few days. Let's fast forward to just recently. I now needed a hitch for my Ford F150. I made a phone call because the price was great for the Escape. I got my quote and again it was really competitive to the Internet prices. This is why I really like this place. The guys behind the counter are always friendly and there to help. I cannot tell how many places similar to this business where the counter guy was condescending and looked at you like you were idiot. Not these guys. There is no attitude. They want to get you the part you need and help you with any questions. I always get top notch service and a great price here. If you need a trailer part or a trailer hitch this is place to go. Overall, pretty lame. I'm with Dick D's review. This place didn't have *any* of the parts I needed. I needed standard lugnuts (they told me to go to Checker Autoparts). They didn't have a door lock gasket (they sent me to trailerTech, now out of business). They didn't have bearing covers (sent me to Hubcap Annie's). They couldn't tell me anything about the lock I had in hand; "We don't sell that kind of trailer lock" even though it is a standard type of trunk lock found on trailers everywhere (horsebox type lock). Sales person grunted more than answered questions and made me feel like I was interrupting his mobile phone time where he was reading Facebook or heaven-knows what. Their supply of small trailer tires was impressive, and they had some products that you might not find at a standard truck stop. Otherwise, utterly unimpressive. read more

BEWARE IF YOU ARE NOT AN EXPERT ON TRAILERS!!!! 25 years in my own business and this will go down as worst experience ever. Dayton front counter mgr could care less about what he sells you , your experience , or the profits for the company. I was sold over a $1000 worth of trailer parts I did not need, and rushed out of the store so the front desk guys could leave work a couple minutes early. Made me feel like I was stupid for not knowing what I needed.then deciding a small 6'X12' trailer didn't need a 14,000 lb haul capacity. Very next morning tried to swap some stuff for what I did need and return what was not necessary and they charged me a 15% restocking fee un apologetically. Then i was told the owner would authorize the return and kick me out of the store forever.. ??? Who is this company. BEWARE read more

These guys are super helpful and friendly and have never tried to upsell or sell me stuff I didn't need. Always have great advice and inventory. Saved me a bunch of money on parts when I flipped my single axle to get more clearance on the trailer. read more

Super friendly staff. I brought in brake components to replace and they looked at them to make sure I actually needed to replace them, got the parts and got rid of the old, greasy nasty parts so I didn't have to load it back into my car. Even loaded my car for me and went back and got me the user/installation manual. Awesome! read more

Great!! just great.. Was having issues with another shop in town about a hitch for my truck, stopped in here to ask a few questions. Within about 5 minutes I had all the right parts and was on my way. Was told the installation would take me no more then 30 minutes when I got home, actually took less.. only about 20 because the all the products were exactly as specified and worked flawlessly.. They had rims for my boat trailer in stock when everyone else in town was at a week's delivery time... Save yourself some time and just go to these guys first. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes, with rims and tires loaded in my truck. Prices were comparable to other stores but without the wait. These guys saved my vacation! read more

Trailer tech was able to handle all the suspension, tires, and axle stuff I needed to replace on my 1979 pop up camper. They were able to order what I needed in a timely manner and it all was installed in place of the old parts no problem. I dealt with both Dayton and Larry on separate occasions and they both gave great customer service. I didn't know anything about trailers at the start of my project and these guys changed that, they are very knowledgeable in their field. I'd recommend them 100% if you need anything for a trailer.
