Like others have said, do NOT come here!!!! We bought a BRAND NEW, 2026 camper and when driving it home, the slide was broken and actually came out driving down the road! They also left notes in the camper that stated the door had been damaged on transport but was not fixed. Several other things were broken after we did our own inspection because they try to fly through it hoping you don't see all the issues. We took our camper back in and dropped it off with all the issues explained. We were told someone would be on it asap to get it checked out, that was 4 weeks ago with no call backs and no follow ups. Husband just drove two hours to talk to someone in person and told us still haven't even looked at it. WORST customer service I have ever experienced. These guys literally do not care and fairly certain this email they tell you to complain to is a joke as well. Again, DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! We have a brand new 2026 camper, making payments on that we are not even able to use, and they wouldn't even give us a timeframe to get updates on. These guys deserve negative stars!!!!

They held their ground and knew that they had the upper hand since they had the model I was looking for, and I could not find one locally. I get that. I'm from MN and they are in CO. Buying sight unseen was difficult and stressful. I asked for a walk around video and never got one, only pictures. I wanted to have the truck camper delivered since we had an elderly dog that could not make the trip. Delivery was expensive. We agreed on a price and somehow that price went up during final invoice time. I was told the camper would be delivered on Wednesday March 11. I got a call Tuesday March 10 and was told the camper was going to arrive "early afternoon that day". I took the afternoon off work to be home when it arrived. Later that morning I was given an updated ETA of 7:30PM. Shortly after 9PM, no camper and no word from them so I reached out. I was told that the driver was "in northern Iowa and would be there in 45 minutes". I waited 1 hour and nothing, so I called again. I was told that they were a half hour away, another lie. It was almost 11PM when they finally arrived. I took delivery of a $40K camper at 11PM at night in the dark of Winter. I paid a premium price for the deliver "service".... After the next morning inspection, all looked good. I did notice that one of the dust caps was missing on one of the four electric jacks. Not a big deal, but I'm an engineer and the manufacturer of the electric jacks supplies them with dust caps for a reason. So, I went on the manufacturers web site to order a replacement. The price of one of the little dust caps was $25 including shipping. I thought before I ordered one, I will ask Pikes Peak if they have a spare. I reached out to them about the single missing cap and was told "all of our Adventurer campers on site don't have any caps, but I do have a spare set that I can send you". I thought that was an odd thing to say. So, I checked the pictures on their web site of other Adventurer campers on the lot and, sure enough, all the pictures showed the dust caps in place on the jacks. That was just weird. Two weeks later, no dust caps arrived so I reached out and was told that they were sent standard mail. No tracking and never arrived. That was weird, too. I was told that they would send another set. I'm not going to hold my breath for those to arrive.... All in all, there were a few other odd stories I could add but you get the picture. I cannot recommend this dealership and won't be going back to them in the future.

Out of state new customer!…read more Everyone here was great! They did not SELL me, they INFORMED about options and EDUCATED a new buyer with numerous texts, calls and follow up. I bought a new NOBO 20.3 and could not be happier with the experience. From sales, to tech, to the front counter, the entire staff was accommodating and respectful of my time. I highly recommend Pikes Peak RV over any dealer that wants to sell you something off their lot. IT WAS WORTH BUYING OUT OF STATE AND DELIVERING TO OUR DRIVEWAY.

I wish I have read these reviews before I signed the contract with Tumbleweed Tiny House!!…read more I signed a contract for a 33' Alta tiny home and paid a 10% down payment of $18,800. Two weeks later, I discovered my property deed prohibits mobile homes, making it legally impossible to proceed. Despite minimal work being done (just one design meeting), no materials ordered, and no production started, they refused to refund my deposit, citing their non-refundable policy. As the unsophisticated party, I relied on their guidance, followed all their instructions, and was urged to sign the contract. Their CEO, Steve Weissmann, has ignored my emails and remains unresponsive to mediation efforts by the Colorado Attorney General's office. I am now pursuing legal action due to their unfair business practices and lack of consumer protections. Maybe Tumbleweed was once a great company, but since changing ownership, their business practices have deteriorated significantly. They even filed for bankruptcy in 2020 and were sued for unpaid loans. I strongly recommend reading Yelp reviews and doing extensive research before signing any contract with them. Many customers have reported similar refund issues and concerns about poor construction quality. So please beware! I don't want anyone else to go through what I have to go through right now!

Don't walk. Run!!! Run far, far, far away…read more I had a tiny home dream going on years, and I finally bit the bullet and hired Tumbleweed for a ground up, custom tiny home. I had no intention on sparing any expense. The team was given 6 months for the project, and the problems began only weeks into the process. After the initial design discussion and first renderings we were off to the races. And then.... While the first renderings took the team 6 weeks, the second and seemingly easier second renderings took the team 14 weeks, included NONE of the proposed changes, and when confronted about the timeline and my worries I was told my design was "too detailed" and they demanded an undiscussed "design fee" if I wanted my ideas executed. What?! Oh... And, the detailed, overly complex design included standard fair for any other tiny home company like a foldable porch, Murphy bed and a few finishes. (I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that they tried to charge me 150% all MSRP for everything from my refrigerator/freezer to the $8,500 for a Murphy bed.). I should have walked then and there, but... Long story short... I stuck around and poured more time and money into the project. That is until 7 months into the project nothing other then incomplete renderings had been done. When I got my ducks in a row and confronted management and the CEO they LITERALLY hung up the phone and followed that up with an e-mail telling me to pound sand and contact their lawyer for any contractual disputes. I, like over 100 others, now find myself in bankruptcy court hoping upon hope to get back pennies on the dollar for my deposit. Bottom line... The CEO and management are liars and thieves. As I said... RUN FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY!!!

I honestly do not know if I have ever had a better customer experience in my 63 years…read more I worked in the hospitality industry for many years, and I have always believed in treating people with dignity and respect, no matter what side of the desk you are on or what industry you are in. That is exactly what I experienced with The RV Smith. My situation started with several calls around town, trying to find someone who could help me in a pinch and replace the A/C unit on my Jayco Jay Feather, which I just so happened to destroy while going through a do-it-yourself car wash. Long story short, I was distracted and went to the closer car wash instead of the one I normally use to wash my camper. Yada yada yada... I'm a dumbass. As soon as I got home, I started researching businesses that might be able to get the repair done quickly. Since it was a Sunday, I knew all I could really do was research my options and start making calls Monday morning. In all fairness, I knew it was a stretch to find someone who could turn it around right away. Most of the places I called chuckled when I explained the timeline I was hoping for. Several were booked for the rest of the summer and said they could not help me until I was ready to winterize the unit. When I called The RV Smith, Clint answered the phone. From the very beginning, I was met with professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern -- without judgment. Clint asked specific questions about the unit so he could understand my options. Instead of simply telling me they were booked out, he asked if I could swing by so they could get eyes on it and make sure the damage was not worse than I thought. The next morning, I was there before they opened at 8:00 a.m. Clint was already outside helping another customer, then directed me where to park so someone could take a look at it. It was not even 8:00 yet, and another gentleman told me to talk with Clint because he would help me find the best A/C unit for the size of my camper. Clint greeted me, looked things over, and said it appeared to be pretty straightforward. He gave me several options, including units similar to what I had before and a few newer models that were more efficient and much quieter for only a few hundred dollars more. After doing my own research, I had already made up my mind on what I thought I wanted, and it just so happened to be the same unit Clint recommended. He told me I could either leave the camper there until they fixed it, or I could take it camping that weekend and drop it off the following Monday. Since we already had plans, we decided to camp and make do with a portable A/C unit for the weekend. I dropped the camper off the next Monday, and two days later I received a call that it was ready to pick up. What I did not mention is that I also asked if they could provide an estimate for some body damage caused by Big O Tires when they replaced my old tires, and also check why the water heater was not working. They took care of all of that as well and documented everything clearly. I would recommend The RV Smith to anyone with RV issues. If you want to see what real customer service looks like, look no further. I could not recommend them enough.
