Build your own pizza
Jackson D.

Star of the show: brown box car cocktail. That was pretty good and the whole reason someone in our party wanted to come back here. The very mediocre pizza was incredibly overpriced. We got a few different pizzas once of which tried to cauliflower crust which honestly wasn't too bad and interesting. Their pizza sauce is just pretty bad though. Toppings were ok, nothing to write home about. I mean still a decent meal but the price still baffles me, I don't know how they expect to serve slightly above cafeteria level pizza and expect to charge you at least 20 bucks for a small, almost personal pizza(I eat a lot but no way these feed more than 2). Service was ok. ambiance was ok. Not factoring this into my review because I feel like that's unfair to the business but more of a "bruh moment." I tried ordering the pesto flatbread and tried to add chicken to it and they said they couldn't do that... Like what? Seems a little crazy that can't be done.

Food was great and the service was attentive. Not a pickle ball player but the courts look great.

Everything was completely disabled accessible, including a very nice ramp to get in the establishment. The ambience is fun. They have music playing, we watched the World Cup game while we were there. The staff was incredible! They were very friendly. I am not a beer drinker, I observed that they had a huge selection of their own beer, including flavored cider. You could also order soda and regular mixed cocktails. Please note that they do not serve any food. You can bring in your own and they do have food trucks usually on the weekends. There was a barbecue truck when I visited. It's a fun and relaxing spot to have a few beverages, chat with friends or watch the game.

There are hallways, nooks and crannies around every corner with two floors of prime seating. They have a plethora of beers on tap, I had a tough time deciding. Always a good idea to try the seasonal beers because they don't hang around forever. Longboat is also surrounded by a bunch of other fun things to do like different eateries, a vintage store and even an arcade! Make a day out of it and explore the area!

I had an excellent meal here! My friend and I came in for dinner and wow this place gets busy. But…read moreeveryone was super friendly and we were luckily able to find seats at the bar. They brew their own beer and it was all super tasty. The bartender was also nice enough to give me a small sample of two of the beers so I can decide which I wanted to have with my meal. My friend and I shared a pizza, a platter of wings, and a burnt ends plate. First of all- I was shocked how good the pizza was. Given I'm originally from NJ, I'm a bit of a pizza snob. But it was actually quite tasty. The platter of wings was solid. Not the biggest wings in the world, but the plate came with a bunch and the sauce was really good. And the burnt ends were phenomenal. Super tender, lots of flavor. The place itself was very lively- lots of happy, talking people getting ready for the night. Certainly a place to come to feel "energy". I was certainly overly stuffed after this meal- would come back again!

The beers are top-notch -- from the easy-drinking Canned Good and Flor Blanca Mexican Lager to the rich Thresher Porter, they're clearly brewing with care and creativity. The food matches the quality of the beer. We've been here for brunch and highly recommend it -- everything from the eggs to the bread feels fresh and flavorful. I also love how many of their ingredients are sourced locally, which really adds to the quality and uniqueness of each dish. On this visit, we shared the fried cheese curds and the brisket grilled cheese! We also happened to stop by for a jazz night, which was such a fun surprise. The live music totally elevated the atmosphere and made the evening feel special. That said, there's still a bit more they could do with the space -- it would be great to see more regular live music or special events to bring even more life to the room. Prices are a bit higher than average for Columbia, but for the quality, atmosphere, and local charm, it's worth it. Great beer, great food, great people -- a solid 4 stars!
