Rick did a great job on my laptop. The repair to a few days longer than first thought, but Rick was dillegent and determined to win the fight communicating with me regularly. He tried multiple methods to correct the problem and delivered my laptop as good as new if not better. I appreciated his time spent and resolution. Rick did a great job repairing my daughter's Asus laptop. It had a fan that was failing and it was starting to overheat. He clearly explained the repair process, gave a clear quote for replacing the fan and took care of ordering the part. When there was an extraneous problem with the motherboard during the repair, he really stood by his work and took care of it at no additional cost. He worked with us to arrange convenient times to drop off and pick up the laptop. I was at the end of my rope when I finally bit the bullet and messaged Rick at Tragermedia. I had a good but older laptop with Windows 7, and I needed to upgrade to Win 10 in order to run some important software for my business. I have been around computers and installing since the 80's but I spent two full days on trying...only to have the computer roll back to 7 after it ran through what seemed like a whole install--over and over again. After 4 long attempts I found Tragermedia on the internet that evening and messaged him my issues. He messaged me back immediately saying he'd call in the AM. I found TragerMedia when I was in graduate school several years ago. My laptop was struck with the notoriously annoying pop-ups ads that kept popping up. The idea of going to the Geek Squad or any of the big box stores equipped with "assembly-line" employees who lacks basic troubleshooting skills and are just too happy to sell services rather fix my problems was as appealing as going to the dentist!
