My family volunteered, took on odd jobs and were most grateful for this place in the four fab Fowler kids' upbringing. Once they went to public schools, the memorization, phonics based reading education and clear tried and true lessons in math history drama and science taught by passionate instructors was instrumental in their superb public school habits and grades. Love SCA which was 'Lees Summit Community Christian School' back then!

It was such a great experience that the next year we moved her into five days. The next year pre-K, kindergarten and then added child number two and eventually child number three. We have got to experience many different styles of teaching, grades, and also how it's different between girls and boys but one clear message is the same: that you are loved and that God loves you. The Education is excellent. It's also really fun to see organized sports, arts and extra curricular activities beginning within the school at the early ages too! We have loved it, and if you quickly do the math for three children, you can easily see that it is beyond worth it to us!!!

That place is going downhill with no brakes! My 2 year old attended CWS for a little over year…read more During this timeframe, I saw a major decline in quality of care and an extremely HIGH turnover of good teachers. My son got a new teacher every 2 months! I also witnessed several state regulations not being followed and teachers yelling at kids. Do not fooled by the colorful "exploratory" as it's a facade. I let never looked "played in" and I never seen any kids playing no matter what time I would arrive, my son never brought drawing home either. In my opinion, It's not a school; it's Lee's Summit's most expensive babysitting service. Do your research - I would not recommend.

This was by far the best preschool experience she could have experienced. The teachers were loving, caring, and even gave us their cell phone #s when we left so we could keep in contact with them. There isn't high teacher turnover at that school, and most of the teachers were there for the three years that my daughter was. Creative World is not a typical pre-school, and it seems to be closer to a Montessori learning program. Kids learn by exploration and experimenting, and their Exploratorium allows them the opportunity to experience lots of different things. We only left because my daughter was starting kindergarten. If this location had a private kindergarten, we would've kept her there. After our first parent/teacher conference in kindergarten, we knew that Creative World had been the best place for our daughter. She was developmentally and academically ahead of the other students in her class, and I attribute that to the education and care she got while attending Creative World.

She worked…read morethere for two months and was treated unfairly, ultimately being fired without explanation. During that time, we noticed several concerning issues with the facility and how it's managed: * The building was often dirty, with visible flies and gnats in the kitchen. * The teachers seemed unprofessional, not maintaining personal cleanliness, and appeared more focused on babysitting than educating the children. * Children were frequently unstructured and sometimes left outside in very cold temperatures. * The staff rarely answered the phone and seemed generally lazy in their responsibilities. * The facility sometimes had unpleasant odors. Based on our experience, I'm honestly surprised the center is still open. I would caution parents and potential employees to carefully consider this before getting involved.

IF YOUR KIDS ARE IN THE TWOS ROOM OR AT THIS FACILITY IN GENERAL PLEASE REMOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY. This was our last week after only 3 months in their care because it has been unbelievably bad and making multiple reports. I was expecting to talk to the Director about an injury that happened in their care and that's why I was recording. As I was about to leave, the fire alarm starting going off and since I already have issues with ALL of the teachers (minus infant teachers) I went back to see what my Daughters teacher would do. In the Twos room, this teacher was standing there. Frozen. Picked up a crying child and looked around. I stood at the gate watching her and that's when I asked if she knew what her fire drill was. SHE SAID NO AND THAT SHE HAD NO CLUE WHAT TO DO. A passing teacher says it is not a drill and I say that's my Point and why I was asking. IF YOU ARE TAKING CARE OF KIDS YOU BETTER DAMN WELL KNOW WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY
