There was duct tape holding a ton of stuff together and that creates a general safety hazard because it can bust or grip where someone isn't expecting it to. Just not that great of a place. I'd advise taking care with fish- they use RO water, so drip acclimation will be necessary if you're on KC tap water. The Pygmy's cories I got from them were healthy, but they needed a slow acclimation to be put into my quarantine. They're now in the display. They're knowledgeable about their fish and plants (I'd assume salt water as well, but I don't have a saltwater tank, so I can't say one way or the other). The plants I've purchased from them have been great, except for one buce brownie tissue culture that melted and hasn't come back, but apparently my tank doesn't like buce, because I've tired multiple times, and buce melts and never come back, so I don't fault them for that. Their plants are nearly always in good shape and happy. I did buy some downoi that was super leggy, and so I trimmed it to use only the best of it. It's there, in the tank, and I'm watching to see what it does. But the tissue culture of the downoi I got from them really took off, and is propagating just fine. Their cost is in line with online sellers when you factor in shipping. I'll continue to use them. I've been pleased with the knowledge of the employees and their locality.

There was handicap parking for the pool in the same lot, but not close enough to use for the community center. 2. I couldn't find an automatic door so I had to fight to get in the heavy steel and glass doors. 3. The "Event Space" barely held 20 people for the Bridal Shower I attended there. 4. To get to the restrooms you had to walk/crutch through the volleyball courts with a training group going on and hope not to get hit. 5. An Inconsiderate woman using the restroom and letting their 3 year old boy use the handicap stall when there were 3 other stalls opened & he peed everywhere. She didn't say sorry or clean up the mess. Besides those downfalls, they event space was clean and well lite. The volleyball courts looked nice and kept up as did the kitchen area. Our 4-year-old was asked not to come back after the fourth day for behaviors, but these were not egregious behaviors (I'm not saying this because I'm being a defensive parent). They had reportedly discussed behaviors earlier in the week but not with my wife and I and we weren't made aware of how serious they felt they were. We're clearly frustrated, and maybe this isn't the way it is with every class, but if you are going to have a summer camp, you need to have teachers that are trained to deal with behaviors of 4-year-olds and keep a close line of communication with the parents. There was no itinerary, no pictures of the camp, no way to engage with my child when they came home on what they learned. To top it off, the camp director was rude to my wife when explaining things. Extremely disappointed in the experience and if you have other options I would stay away.

Out of all the teams we have been on the amount of LOVE AND SUPPORT we have gotten from NJE (even after moving on to dance) is beyond amazing. I've never in my life had a team that truly makes you feel like it's more than just a team...it's FAMILY!! Yes it's still a business and they need to make money but it has never felt that way. How many coaches do you know who will take time to surprise EVERY athlete on their team whom made it is Disney by showing up at THEIR SCHOOL to give them a congratulations gift? That's right. They drove all around the KC area to surprise their girls for winning a bid to "The Summit" (the Super Bowl of cheer if you will). Now this is my youngest second year of not cheering. She had switched over to dance a year and a half ago. How many of you could say your ex coaches and teammates/parents would pay to come watch your child perform at their new dance studio? ‍Well I can tell you out of all the coaches my kids have had NJE are the only one that has does this. This is what touches me deep in my heart and they will FOREVER be a part of my family! This is what these kids need to see. Love/caring/kindness and to me THIS is winning! (Yes they do actually win competitions also. Lol but this is more important to me than anything) They are the perfect balance of being tough on your child when needed and expect them to give 100% and when they do great they know how to show the athletes how proud they are of them. If we ever go back to cheer (which she is talking about it ) we would only go back there. Oh and speaking of they are the only gym I know that does not have the drama and when a girl leaves they almost always come back. In case you were wondering my daughter had cheered their for four years!
