These people also trade as Riwaaz boutique.49A, The Broadway, Southall, UB1 1JY…read moreThey have a market stall in the mall by Zenith on the Southall Broadway and a small cupboard of a boutique (Shingaar bride and Groom). Claim they have been trading there for 18 years to lure you in. Beware AVOID AVOID!! Our experience with this husband and wife team has been very dissapointing. Ashwin is a nice enough chap and will politely take your order, receipts are not provided other than a vague business card with 'Riwaaz boutique email on it and phone number to his wife. If you insist on paying by card it will be taken under the name of Shingar Bride and Groom. However, the wife (Neelum) has left us out of pocket, failed to provide goods and has an interesting approach to customers. it consists mainly of screaming at them, trying to extort extra money on orders once she has your deposit money (several hundred pounds). They try and operate on cash only basis (very dubious, I'm sure from a HMRC perspective). They have not delivered on our order, caused weeks and months of stress and disappointment and every phone call chasing on the delayed goods has resulted in her passing insults, demanding more money on the order and screaming and shouting at us! Totally unnecessary, unprofessional, rude and quite frankly outrageous!! We are now seeking legal advice to get out deposit money back! Lessons learnt: 1. pay by credit card for any bespoke orders, 2. insist on a receipt detailing their full names/company registration numbers and private address and delivery date. 3. Never pay more than 20% deposit on a credit card 4. State 'time is of the essence' for delivery dates 5. Seek legal advice and alert others if they fail to deliver
