So from the moment you walk into this place, it feels like one of those old-school barbershop that you walk into in the 80s. Very fun and relaxed vibes TV is going typically with sports events on ample seating and very organized and clean. Had a chance to meet The Owner Art. I asked for a traditional clean up and fade. I received exactly what I asked for. Thanks again tradition. read more

I've lived by this shopping center for 10 yrs. We never really come to this end but we did this day. My son has settled for his cuts but I have been quietly searching for a new barber for him. As we were leaving another store, Jacob came out and gave us a flyer. Like a blessing in disguise. Very nice, respectful and my son was down to give him a try. He didn't disappoint. When you walk in don't be alarmed by the cute puppy welcoming you. Nice music playing, restrooms available, vending machine. All the barbers seems very chill, haircut was sharp! My son enjoyed his surroundings. I'm hoping Jacob will be our new barber. Jacob seems great with kids and I love that! Definitely recommend read more

Fast and efficient barber shop! Friendly staff and awesome dog inside! Book your appointment online!

Good vibes, good service. As good as a barbershop can get if not more. Make a Reservation with Jacob if you want a clean cut

Jacob has cut me two times now and I haven't been happier. Leaving the South Bay due to a move had been stressful on me tryin to find a new barber. I've sampled around and stumbled across Jacob. First time around was a walk up so I just let it ride and he figured out my shape and style and killed it. Second time I booked with him and he absolutely crushed it again. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for the cut, will see you again. Just don't tell my old barber. I hate break ups. read more

Been getting cuts from Art since we were kids... he's been gifted with the shears and clippers since '99. He's built something special with Tradition, and there's no better shop in the 562. Great people, great service, and always a clean cut. Art still holds the #1 chair, but it's good seeing his son Jake, the shop's Rookie of the Year, and the crew carrying that same standard. read more

My son has always been super anxious about haircuts, but ever since we started seeing Jacob, that's completely changed! He's so patient and kind -- he takes his time, talks to my son, and makes him feel totally at ease. You can tell he really cares and enjoys what he does. Now my son actually looks forward to getting his hair cut. The shop itself has a great vibe -- clean, relaxed, and everyone's friendly. If you've got a kid who gets nervous about haircuts, I can't recommend Jacob enough! I huge plus is their online booking, makes it so easy to fit into my busy schedule. read more

We found Tradition when we moved nearby in La Mirada. We booked an appointment for my sons (ages 9 and 6) and my father. Jacob is always so thorough, kind, and patient. The kids have always been comfortable in his chair, and we've been booking with him for the last 2 years now. The shop is always clean and welcoming, and the boys always leave looking fresh. 10/10 read more

I took my nephew to get a haircut, and he was very nervous--he doesn't do well with new people or unfamiliar environments. But Robert did an amazing job making sure he felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. He took the time to talk to him, reassure him, and move at a pace that didn't overwhelm him. It's hard to find barbers who are patient and understanding, especially with kids who have special needs, but Robert exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for a barbershop that truly cares, I highly recommend this place--especially for parents of children who need that extra level of care and patience. We'll definitely be back! read more

Took my 16-year-old son to see Brian at Tradition Barbershop, and we were both so impressed! Brian was professional, friendly, and really took his time to get the cut just right. My son absolutely loved his hair -- which says a lot coming from a teenager! Highly recommend Brian if you're looking for someone who truly knows what they're doing and makes the experience comfortable and enjoyable. read more

Tradition barbershop is by far the worst barbershop I ever went too. I went for a walk in and this dude said he was going to take care of me. Little did I know he would ruin my whole head for at least 2 months. A low fade doesn't mean to scalp my entire sides off!! I totally got a super super high fade. I told them to cut the top off so it can lay perfectly flat but he barely even snipped the top !! Now I look goofy and I'm going to be wearing a hoodie for at least 2 months !! Please do not come here I'm trying to save your social life!! read more

I was looking around for a barber and glad I found this place. They have an online platform to allow you to book appointment slots ahead of time with any of the staff. I usually don't like walk ins because the wait time can vary so much, so definitely appreciate the appointment style. I had my first haircut here with Oscar and the service was great. I felt like he put a tremendous amount of time with my fade and gave me the exact cut that I wanted. I would definitely come back in the future! Plenty of parking here as it is in a large shopping plaza. read more

I had to take my kid to a different barber to fix what this guy at Tradition barber shop did. My wife wasn't paying attention because she had the baby with her and didn't notice what a horrible job this guy did. read more

I needed a mop chop bad, I called about 3ish and made an appointment. Art took my call and was able to get me in, just barely. This is the second time I have brought my boys here for a hair cut and will continue. (2 and 4 year old) previous spot down the street was great, but I always had an issue with the boys crying and screaming through the whole thing. 1st cut I saw the change in their behavior and 2nd time it was a smooth process for both. Art does an amazing job and does very well with little ones. The atmosphere is great and all the other barbers are extremely friendly. Online booking is super easy. 100% recommend. read more
