OR Stop & Shop Rocky Pt..formerly Waldbaums, formerly Foodtown, NOW Stop & Shop..with same cranky staff who have survived 2 turnovers. So Stop & Shop Miller Place is my go to. Hate that parking is always a nightmare, but I know it's because we are all shopping in the same place. It's clean. They are always restocking, unlike RP location where shelves are empty of sale items. Good deli, good bakery, friendly helpful staff, the low prices Stop & Shop has to offer. They have great apps, cheeses, desserts, dips etc if you're having a party it will save you so much money. Self checkout is annoying but that's technology for you. I had to laugh when I first saw the growler unit as it sports an aluminum gutter system for overflow like one would find at Home Depot. Very efficient and clean, it was obvious great care was taken to clean it everyday. No buildup, nothing sloppy. Greeted warmly with my arms filled with Bordeaux wines, the counter guy helped me with my bags and then he helped me make a selection. With an array of local craft beers whose masters I know by name, I tried Blind Bat and Two Roads before taking both Tap and Cask are my favorite ways to receive beers as they radiate the magic of the brewer's touch much in the same way a vineyard might attribute the ethereal magic of terroir (earth, area) to its wine.
