We decided to pop into this recently opened location on a whim. I don't believe the store has been open for a full month yet. The store was super busy on this early Friday afternoon. The vibe was a whirlwind of frenzy! It seems the store is working at anticipating stock and inventory levels. A great many products were out of stock and many employees were in the midst of restocking. We managed to get a bit of produce and some beverages. I'd like to return in the future when things die down a bit. The actual store is laid out like your standard Trader Joe's, employee were positive and helpful, and there is plenty of parking in the public lot.

This Winn Dixie isn't much bigger or better than the godawful one near my home in Largo, FL. The…read moreonly big difference beside the general layout of the store revolves around the town/city where we are now. First off, the beer selection is monstrous. Whaddiya expect from a grocery store across the street from the beach, after all? As one can imagine, the other thing that makes this store different is the total overcrowding of stuff in there. What do I mean? They offer beach supplies, T-shirts, beachwear and all that kind of stuff in addition to groceries. Huge ice machine right next to the beer cooler that takes up an entire side wall. I know the one aisle where the beer coolers were took up more refrigerator space than the entire dairy department. I know I'll never shop there again as we don't plan any more vacay time in the World's Most Famous Beach...from now until the cows come home. Speaking of which, isn't this the home of the so-called "Beef People"? Well, as the famous ad put it over 40 years ago..."Where's the Beef?" I know where the beer and the styrofoam coolers are. I also know that the Queen Bee and I couldn't find what we went in there for either. They say Aldi has bought out the company that owns WD. Is that what they mean by a Winn-Win?

Completely unnecessary, with proper training any employee representing a company would know not to be rude and condescending to customers . What happened to this place? , I've been shopping there since the 1980's . It's a shame this company has gone so far down hill. Courtesy and kindness cost nothing and help in any situation .Hopefully they will make a minimal effort to improve . One thing we all have control over is our attitude. Good or bad it"s contagious and will determine what kind of day we choose to have.

There have been times when I get sale items like Neterines for .99 PER LBS or Pears ( on sale only) and they would rot fast. I say to myself for the price what can I expect. As far as the meat I ususally go for the chopped meat on Tuesday for $4.49 I have never had a problem with it but at the same time I wonder am I getting a quality product due to the price? Salmon they usually have a good price on it. Again I've never had a problem with it but since I buy the Atlantic Salmon I like to know where it comes from. When I ask usually the clerk behind the desk doesn't know, then he will go to the back and find out and tell me Canada. ( which is better than chilli) but there is no infomation on the packaging or anything. I've decided to keep safe i will buy Bluehouse which is Salmon grown in man made tanks in Florida from another supplier. The deli Deparment is really good. They have better tasting and better valued deli than most major supermarkets in the area. Overall I really like Perrines. So far the food is real good and you have good values. I'd give it 5 stars if I can find out more info on what I am buying. with Fish and meat, and sale items on produce lasted longer.

The parking lot alone is wild, with what feels like endless gas pumps. Walking inside was a whole experience because I genuinely didn't know where to start. It's like HomeGoods and Wawa had a giant, chaotic, beautiful baby. I made my way through section by section, and there's a little bit of everything. I grabbed their BBQ brisket sandwich and Beaver Chips first--absolutely worth it. The brisket sandwich was ridiculously good, and they're pumping those things out fresh every few minutes. Their hot food menu isn't huge, but honestly, that works in their favor--simple, focused, and done well. I also tried the triple meat sandwich with brisket, turkey, and sausage. It costs a little more, but it's loaded, super filling, and definitely worth it if you're hungry. One of the coolest parts? The jerky section, where you can sample different options before buying. Somehow I even left with beard oil... because Buc-ee's is apparently the kind of place where that makes total sense. Loved Buc-ee's. It's more than a gas station--it's basically a road trip experience.

If you answer a resounding "Yes" to all of the above, especially coffee, then Buc-ee's is your one stop shop of choice. My partner (who's been to a Buc-cee's in Texas)and I ventured to this location after disembarking our cruise ship in Port Canaveral; it was about a 1 hour drive North. Interestingly enough, we discovered this location via YouTube vlogger/channel, "wrightdownmainstreet". She regularly posts vlogs about Disney World, and while looking thru her videos we found a posted vlog about this location. As expected, this location is enormous. Really, it is. I think this is probably the largest gas station I have ever been to. I thought it was pretty awesome they basically had all the needs a driver would want, aside from gas: coffee, drinks, snacks, sweets, warm food, souvenirs, clothes, etc. The snacks and products are their own, and I was impressed with the wide variety of snacks/chips/candies, etc. We took our time perusing the store, as we couldn't check into our Disney World Hotel (Old Key West, see my review!) until later in the afternoon. I estimate we spent over an hour browsing and just carefully looking throughout the store.....especially the snack section and hot food (grab and go section). In the end, we got snacks for the road and room, soda, water, coffee, and brisket wraps. The wrap was good, though I would want definitely want to try other food items on a future visit to any Buc-ee's on the mainland. BOTTOM LINE A stop worth checking out.....especially if you need gas and snacks and drinks for the road.
