I went to the back of the store and there is a multi stall bathroom not locked or anything. When confronted about it, they stammered that they'd recently had some plumbing problems and are instructed to discourage customers from using the bathroom. They replied via e-mail within hours and said "No problem" come on down. My other choice was going to be Men's Warehouse but after looking at the horrible reviews on their Duluth outlet I made up my mind to trust Mainstream Fashions for Men. What a great decision that was. I arrived at 10:00am and after just a couple questions he had pulled out a suit coat to try on and the second one fit perfect. Without asking my measurements he pulled out a pair of pants that fit perfectly and then did the same with a collared shirt. I was done in 15 minutes and as I was leaving the store he was already taking my suit to their alterations store across the street and he notified me by text when they were done. Wow, if only every store offered that kind of customer service. I can't recommend this place enough and I found the prices to be very reasonable. Duluth is now using a shipper who employes gig-economy workers to make their deliveries. The shipper shows, by photo evidence, that the package was placed in our USPS mailbox. Never mind that it is illegal to put their packages in our USPS mailbox. The point is that it was not there when I gathered our mail that evening. I contacted Duluth customer service (twice and worked my way up the supervisor ladder) and was told that it falls on me to check with USPS to see if they accidently picked it up. And to get with the shipper to figure things out with them. Not Duluth's problem. Too bad...so sad. The onus is on me to figure out where the package went. I was told multiple times that refunding or reshipping was against Duluth's policy. Considering I've been a loyal Duluth customer for many, many years, and have run significant amounts across their registers, I was stunned to be treated this way. Never again will I order anything from Duluth if their attitude is - well if it gets there good...if not, you figure it out.
