This thrift store is very well organized. Perhaps that's one of the most interesting things about it. They even have their clothing organized by size. So, this makes shopping for that vintage piece of clothing much easier. This is something that few other thrift stores do. And, it's really appreciated. Because, it makes the whole shopping experience, not only easier but more enjoyable. Beacon House has far more than just clothing, however. This shop is stuffed full of all kinds of everything else, from electronics, to kitchen goods, to musical items, to LPs, cassette tapes, pretty much anything you can think of, they've got something. As is the case with all thrift stores, the inventory at this business is constantly changing. So, going in here one day may be very different from going in the next day. You will never know what you're gonna find. And, that's what makes this business a really unique shopping experience. So, if you're one of those people that enjoy going to thrift shops, seeking out antiques, vintage items, discarded items that nobody really cared about, or pretty much anything else, this is a great place to go. Guy from Jeweler's Touch stood out in his quick responses and helpfulness. When we arrived that evening to speak to someone, Brandon was amazing. He was friendly, super patient, and explained everything. He understood how difficult it was to look for rose gold chains, especially when thicker too. I was super indecisive and he gave me all the time in the world to look through their gold book which had all kinds of designs and thickness scaled to life size so I could place my pendant on it to imagine how it would look. He also brought out samples of chain types as I picked out ones to see if I'd like the look in person. He ended up finding an estate gold chain that looked absolutely perfect for my husband's pendant in shine and style. We tried it for a few days (they give you 30 days hassle-free) and my husband knew it wasn't the right length of style for his personal preference and our tuggy toddlers within one day. It was gorgeous and I wished it worked out, but maybe not for us. We came back a few days later after Christmas Eve and Brandon helped me out again with the return and gave me suggestions for the length of my husband's necklace based on preference. I saw people coming in and out during the two times I went and I see why. These people are amazing, patient, knowledgeable, super friendly and not pushy at all. They want to help make happy customers who are looking for that perfect jewelry. Although we are still on the search for the "perfect" chain for each of us (we are not major jewelry people but need this to be just right for us in every way), I appreciate the help that Jeweler's Touch gave and would recommend them for anyone looking for a custom piece or specific jewelry services.

Strong Recommendation for Phil and Downsizing Solutions…read more It's so important to hire someone who truly knows what they're doing when handling an estate sale. Unfortunately, my recent sellers chose a company on their own, and in my opinion, they were greatly taken advantage of. The experience reminded me just how exceptional Phil and his team at Downsizing Solutions are. Phil is, without question, one of the best estate sale professionals I've ever worked with. To give some perspective, the company my sellers used spent only three days going through the home, while Phil typically dedicates two to three weeks to carefully sort, organize, and price everything so each item is displayed and visible. This particular home was filled with high-end items, many brand new and countless tools and collectibles stored in every room and closet. The other company didn't set up enough display tables, leaving many valuable items unseen and underpriced. In contrast, Phil and his team use every available space, even setting up tables in the backyard if needed, ensuring that everything is visible and well-presented. Phil consistently draws large crowds, often with hundreds of people lined up before the sale even opens, and his sales generate strong returns for sellers. He also goes above and beyond after the sale, working closely with clients to organize donations and provide documentation for tax write-offs. It's difficult to see clients taken advantage of, especially when they simply didn't know the difference in quality and professionalism among estate sale companies. I did recommend Phil, but they chose someone who was personally connected to the deceased. It was a hard lesson learned, and I want to make sure others don't have the same experience. If you ever need someone reliable, professional, and truly dedicated to helping clients get the best results from an estate sale, I can only recommend Phil and Downsizing Solutions. Had a terrible experience with Phil from Downsizing Solutions LA at one of his sales recently…read more He says his sales are organized - far from it and there's a serious lack of communication between team members. His team all seemed to be unhappy. I would be too if I worked for a short-tempered and crooked boss like him. If you're a good judge of character, just take one look at him and you can tell he's not a good guy. Watch out for being overcharged! He'll take the opportunity any chance he can. I witnessed him overcharging another customer, and then it happened to us immediately after. When the other customer brought it to his attention, he forcefully and rudely handed her the money back while borderline cursing at her. Unbelievable. We're the only reason why you're even in business, buddy! When we brought to his attention about us being overcharged, we got nothing but attitude and rudeness. We were finally able to recover the money he shorted us, only after having to threaten to report him. Avoid this company. There are dozens and dozens of other estate sale companies to support. Message to Phil: You should consider being a politician instead...better fit for you.

Jenny Angulo met with us and took time to discuss the items with my mother. She was so sensitive and insightful, as this process can be difficult for the homeowner who has lived in the home for over 40 years. In the clean-out organization process, the team found many personal items and pulled them aside so we could collect them, items like the US flag from my father's funeral, and family photos, which we had missed in our initial clean-out process. She researched the value of the antiques. She displayed the items in a beautiful and organized manner. She socialized the sale on several community forums. The entire team was so kind.
