I love this Dentist. He's been taking care of me for about three maybe four years he's comfortable he's patient. He explained everything to you and what he's gonna do you let him know what your fears are and he will talk you through it. I'm petrified of needles and he had to give it to me to numb my mouth. It was fabulous. I will refer him if you don't have a dentist. His staff is wonderful and have a smile on their face when you walk in they're very Patient. I had a disappointing experience here. I came in for a cleaning and was told my wisdom teeth were fine, but I was still pushed to schedule a consultation. When I declined, the tone of the visit shifted. The cleaning became noticeably more painful, and I felt like I was being treated differently because I chose not to move forward with something I didn't need right away. That's not okay. Please BE AWARE of this dental office I want to share my experience so others can avoid going through what my family did. During my visit, the staff verified and confirmed multiple times that my insurance would cover the remaining balance and told me exactly how much I needed to pay upfront. They assured me that once I paid that amount, there would be no additional charges and the rest would be covered by insurance. Based on those guarantees, I paid upfront for treatment for both of my children. They also suggested that I get fillings myself, but I clearly explained that I was recently laid off and could not afford additional treatment. I specifically asked them again to confirm that I would not receive any bills later, and they reassured me that what I paid was final and guaranteed. Despite all of this, I later received an invoice stating that I owed additional money. I called the office multiple times and spoke with staff members, including Stephany and Lori. Each time, I was told they would review the issue and call me back by the end of the day or the next day. No one ever followed up. Weeks later, I received another invoice saying I still owed money. This cycle has repeated several times. About a month ago, I was again told that I did not need to pay anything, that they would fix the issue, and that an adjustment would be made. However, just a few days ago, I received another notice demanding payment. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I was clearly assured that my insurance would cover the costs, and now I am repeatedly being billed for amounts I was told I would never owe. I feel misled and taken advantage of. I am sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision when choosing a dental office. Please be cautious. This place is state of art clinic. Amazing people. Great care of covid precautions I have been coming here from last 3-4 years. All staff is very experienced and well qualified. Dr Seema is amazing . I never felt any pain during scary procedures including local anesthesia injection. She explains all the details with what needs to be done what can be considered and overall how can I take care of my teeth. Dr seema and Martha called me after extraction procedure and made sure I had no pain or any discomfort. Dr. Son, hygienist is the most professional I have seen for my regular cleaning. Overall dental staff is very courteous. Saturdays are very busy even if they work with full staff, so expect some wait time. I think this is because they never rush and give enough time to complete treatment. No shortcuts which is good. I will definitely recommend anyone even if there is travel. What can I say but dr. Gallegos is simply excellent! I was his patient at another office for a few years when I had put off visiting a dentist for way too long. When he moved here I decided to follow as well since good dentists are hard to find. Gentle hands, no pain and nothing rushed makes for a great experience. I've had a total of 5 crowns and numerous fillings repaired by the doctor over that last 4 years and they all came out perfect! He is easy to talk to and explains all work in detail as well as shows pics of what is the problem and what the plan for repair will be. Haven't had a single issue with any of his work. Beware!!!!! If you are a dentist client or insurance provider this dentist doesn't care!!! I went in for a crown. I had to go to the ER a week later with swelling of the cheek and pain. They took 12 hours to figure out that it was from a tooth. The crown that The Russian dentist did got infected. I went to them to have them fix the underlying issue that they caused! They first denied that I was a client. Then they found the records, but denied to fix the work underneath. I fought with them for 2 years to get it fixed then the corona virus hit and they shut down and stopped taking my calls. I finally had to contact BBB and my dental insurance provider. The dentists are very caring and took good care of my dental issues but the billing is not ok. I pre-paid for a night guard and during my appointment, they canceled it as I needed another tooth worked on first. They then contacted me weeks later wanting more money and I told them since I did not get the night guard, please just apply that pre-payment. They seemed to not know that I never got the night guard and did not know what I was talking about. They did not communicate if the pre-payment was not enough to cover the bill. All of a sudden they send me to collections. I have called and left messages, but no communication back. Pretty sure they are avoiding me which I feel is unprofessional. I made an appointment for my mom to get her tooth removed, they made her wait a few HOURS while in pain at the office because the dentist couldn't see her. And here comes the worst part, they took advantage of my mom not speaking much English so they tried to get her to sign up for some annual discount plan, she had no idea what's going on but partially paid for it as she panicked. It's been a year now and they still keep trying to bother her about paying the rest of it even though she never went back for further service. Why oh why didn't I find TDE sooner??? My first call to them (on a Saturday) Anna was extremely helpful and scheduled a root canal for me the following Saturday. I had been in excruciating pain for the last 6-8 months due to a filling falling out and unable to take time off work to get it fixed. When I was able to go to other dental offices open on Saturdays they all gave me the run around and told me I would have to see a specialist for the procedure, or a surgeon to have the tooth removed. TDE ended up moving my Saturday appointment up to an evening appointment on a Wednesday because I was in so much pain. I showed up late to my appointment because I was stuck in Altamont traffic but Lilia, Dr. Deshmukh AND Martha, the office Manager stayed until 8:30 to get my root canal done and go over all the payment options. The office closes at 7. Not only did every person who helped me go above and beyond to accommodate my schedule, but they were also extremely tentative and made sure I was as comfortable as can be throughout the entire procedure. I could cry, I was so thankful I found them! Being in the medical field myself, I know well that you can go to the same place and have opposite experiences, depending on who your provider is. That said, Martha is who took me back for intake, xrays etc. She listened fully. I have a COMPLICATED medical history to say the least. She paid attention and made sure to relay the details to Dr. Seema in a respectful manner. Even when I had to come and go to accommodate my family members, she still came back to check on me no matter what patient she had moved on to! She was so attentive to my pain level and ensuring my comfort! Dr. Seema... oh my goodness! I have always been difficult to numb. It wears off quickly, or some combo doesn't work on me, I don't know why. It's part of why I have avoided dental work. They've argued that I'm lying etc. Who does that? Yes, I want extra needles shoved into my gums and tongue, prolonging how long I have to sit here while you grind on my face! The moment I would gasp or cringe or even not breathe right, she'd stop to check with me. And it took some doing! I had my eyes closed behind the sunglasses, so I had no way I could've known she was down in my tooth canal unless I was feeling it! (So not her fault! My body metabolizes the stuff weird) Anyway, she was meticulou! Spent nearly 4 hours on one tooth of mine! ONE TOOTH! Just to try and save it, despite it being a bit fractured and annoyingly difficult! So, don't hesitate. I would like to say if I could give them 10 stars I would. From start to finish the staff made me feel comfortable and less nervous for my extraction. I needed an extraction for my braces and I went somewhere else, which turned out to be a horrible experience. But I just went on google and my finger accidentally clicked on them and I just gave them a call. I spoke to Naeomi and she was so kind and literally worked to find me a consultation same day. I came in and it was so fast and a great experience. They got me in for my extraction sooner than anyone could. So today I went in and got my extractions with Dr. Shawn and his assistant pheobe. Worth of work done each they stated they had several cavities and one of my kids was said to have been grinding their teeth. Went to another dentist and found that this was not the case at all!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!! I came in Due to pain, called, the receptionist was nice got me in right away. That's where everything went south. They wanted to feel me out and adjusted there prices really high knowing I'm a small business owner myself. I was very upset after leaving as I was charged $200+ to only clean the infected area and put a temp sealer that did nothing but make my pain worse. I call there emergency line it was great I got help thru the night and reassured to fix the next day. I was so happy I came back the next day got on schedule no issues, and they started adding more to the cost for no reason. I ended up pulling 1 tooth and fixing 1. Originally wanted both pulled and wished I did. A week after the root canal and crown, everything healed great except my crown fell off and they don't want to fix the situation or warranty there work. I was eating soft yogurt as I almost chocked because my crown came off. I called the emergency line for 5 days with no help and no response. After payment these people no longer care about there clients work. If I could knock the dudes teeth out I would so he understands what it feels like for making go thru this miserable experience. Not to mention the countless hours and days now from work I had to take off and drive to them. They don't care about anyone but themselves. Very selfish people. These people will seem very nice but they are not. I was there back in April for an emergency appointment due to the COVID-19 quarantine and I had a crown that off. I was the first appointment of the day but was still made to wait for almost an hour before being seen. The only thing they did was take xrays and re-cement my crown. The crown was in perfect condition so no additional work was required. When they billed me at the end my portion came out to $195!! For what!? A couple pictures and some cement, which by the way they said would last a lifetime. Well, guess what? It didn't and I have an appt with my personal dentist to get the crown re-cemented AGAIN. I'm due for my annual exam, X-rays, and cleaning too. All coming to a grand total of $48 out of pocket. What a bunch of scammers at TRACY DENTAL "EXCELLENCE." And to top it off, I tried calling them to re-cement this crown again since they did such a poor job but I already paid them, and I've called 3x and still have received no call back. What a joke!
