I had a doctor in San Francisco that is second to none Dr. Aliabadi on Portola. I readily admit that she spoiled all of us when I say all of us its that I recommended and suggested close to a dozen people that loved her as much as I did. So I am easily tainted and jaded and know what a professional dentist a caring dentist looks and sounds like not to mention the outcome. I was very pleasantly surprised to deal with staff at Dr Sanchez's office in Tracy and he accommodated me every which way he could and then he recommended me to someone that I am not looking forward to seeing ever again but as far as Dr Sanchez he is a true Dental professional his staff is a rock solid team. You're going to be treated like royalty there and you're going to be happy with the outcome that doesn't happen everywhere you go obviously. Scam. He'll intentionally damage your teeth until you lose it all! My teeth were intentionally destroyed and drilled so deep, I now need root canal for all of them and it has been less than a year! I was in pain and couldn't eat until I've lost all of my teeth that were worked by him! He intentionally drilled recklessly and causes further damage to the nerve by putting pressure into the drilled tooth (hole) using another tool. I've never seen anyone do that before. His reason was there's a cavity. He never told me there were cavities during examination and he was supposed to replace old fillings only. Who put pressure into a tooth trying to remove a cavity anyways? How are you supposed to remove it by damaging nerves that were never a problem to begin with? Nothing ever sounds right with this guy. None of my tooth ever recovered and I was in pain the entire time. Now, I've lost more money fixing them or pulling it out. Don't waste your time here, you'll regret just like I did. read more

I had the BEST experience at this dental office! It's intimidating trying out a new dental office, as we all know, but this office goes above and beyond in making you feel comfortable! I felt so taken care of since the minute I made my appointment! Front desk receptionist Mel texted me to confirm and verify my insurance information so I didn't have to deal with anything on the day of my appointment. This office is located inside Satellite Healthcare building on the second floor. Plenty of parking outside, so no need to stress over that. The office itself is clean, with new technology and tasteful decor. I was greeted with warm smiles when I arrived. Only waited about a minute before I was taken to the back by Neely, the hygienist, who gave me the most through, painless cleaning I've ever experienced! She gave me useful tips and tricks on how to help improve my gums. She took a full set of X-rays and in the mouth pictures that Dr. Saini (super nice associate dentist of Dr. Sanchez) used to show me everything needed for my mouth. I liked that he was conservative in his treatment plan, recommending only what was absolutely necessary. Highly recommend this office for exceptional dental care! Dr. Sanchez is probably the best around, unfortunately the front staff are probably the most rude and unprofessional around. The staff screens all reviews and emails directed for Dr Sanchez so I'm sure he's not fully aware of all the complaints and actions the front staff has been doing. There are very few negative reviews of Dr. Sanchez or his staff here, and I really have a hard time believing them, particularly the ones about bad attitude or being greedy. My experiences at this office have been totally the opposite and decided to say so. Dr. Sanchez, the techs, and the office staff know what they're doing and make you feel as much at ease as is possible at a dental visit. I don't even look at a bill or question it; I just pay knowing I'm not being cheated or overcharged. Last year I had a medical emergency and had to cancel on very short notice. Been seen here for 20 years now. I had a very painful and ugly set of teeth. From my first visit to my most recent, I've never had a bad experience. Dr. SANCHEZ is so gentle and calming which really puts you at ease. I can't say enough about the office staff. Shout out to Paula and Melanie. Insurance claims are handled quickly and any issues will be resolved. Scheduling has never been an issue. It's for this reason that I am doing an update here now. My 17 yr old and I both had great experiences with the dentist, hygienists and office staff. They don't try to upsell you on expensive procedures and trust me...I could use some! My gum disease required a deep cleaning to try to get it under control or at least improved. I would only recommend they break this visit into 2.... one hour appointments.....not a 2 hour one. It's just too long.... with anxiety or without. They tell you upfront what insurance covers and they looked at immediate attention areas, your concerns, and answered all my questions. I have been made to feel helpless and overwhelmed by other dentists in the past. This dentist was optimistic and it gave ME hope. Do not go with this office. Their office manager Paola Gonzalvez is very rude and wants customers to make it at the time she wants. People work and can't make just when they can see you. She sent a really rude text message to my friend and when she came to office to talk to the doctor told her she had to leave and was not allowed to speak to him. That she was the person in charge. Amazing dentist and staff. I found this dental office originally for my son but recommend him to everyone I know because he is great. The office staff is always helpful and courteous and everyone is always professional. I used to drive to my dentist in Castro Valley because I really loved him but after finding Dr. Sanchez right under my nose here in Tracy, I transferred to him and left Castro Valley and saved myself a lot of driving time. This dentist is undeserving of the staff he has and shows little to no appreciation. He is arrogant and doesn't look at the whole picture when ordering crowns and bridges. I was incredibly impressed with the staff, and level of care with Dr. Sanchez & Team. My initial consultation was inclusive of a cleaning, X-Rays, and a complete care plan. I really appreciated the absolute transparency in pricing. Today I had a crown & four fillings replaced. Virtually no pain was experienced, and Dr. Sanchez explained everything he was doing during each procedure. He was not happy with the way my crown seated, and did it again. He is a perfectionist, something I truly appreciate in a dental professional. The team is friendly, engaging and really wants you to feel welcome and comfortable. I choose this dentistry based on it's yelp reviews. I'm giving this place a 1 star solely based on Dr. Sanchez himself. The staff was always gracious and very professional. My interactions were primarily with the front desk, esp Paula and I brought my family here. When there was a serious issue to address regarding my daughter's treatment, I made a request directly to Dr. Sanchez. I found him to be guarded, dismissive and very defensive. I felt he wasted my time, only to try and convince me why he was correct, and I as a paying client was not. I left his office thoroughly disappointed, frustrated and disgusted. Dr. Sanchez made several thousands of dollars off of my family in less than a 2 year period. I have had the most amazing experience from begging to end. I broke my front tooth badly recently, Paula was so amazing and got me in very quickly to get a consultation on ways it could be fixed. I was sure I was going to lose the tooth, but the Dr amazingly came up with a way to have it fixed. It was a pain free shot and the whole experience was stress free--I have always been a fearful and anxious patient. They treated me with the most professional and courteous care. Was the easiest dental appointment from start to finish, from the front staff to the dentist and assistants. I had Dr. Sanchez put in a crown for one of my teeth, and it was a very bad experience. The whole procedure took nearly 4 hours, and then he left part of a needle in my mouth. And he didn't even notice, his staff had to point it out. I had to spend another 2 hours rushing off elsewhere to get it removed, and my mouth is still recovering from everything 5 months later. read more

However, he has changed he was extremely short with me, had little to no empathy, as I came into his office in pain was told I needed a root canal to be done by another dentist and would get in to have it done quickly perhaps that day. Well needless to say no call from other dentist. So I went to Dr. Sanchez in pain and left in pain. I'm sure my insurance will get a nice bill for the 5 minutes he spent with me. I really like Dr. Sanchez. I started seeing him for my dental care well over 10 years ago back when he was across the street from the hospital. I stopped going to the dentist for a while there, but when I got insurance again I booked an appointment and was pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous and updated his office is now. He's now off of Grant Line, and the office is bright and clean and just really nice. I've been going back to him for about 3 years now. All of his hygienists are gentle and really friendly. I know I've had Tiffany and Rachel clean my teeth. Dr. Sanchez himself is very nice and I haven't ever had a bad experience with him. One time I brought along my 3 month old son who slept through the cleaning, until Dr. Sanchez came in.. and then my son proceeded to scream through my whole exam, but Dr. Sanchez was so nice about it. He told me not to worry, and that mostly everybody there has kids... So that was nice for an occasionally anxious first time mom like myself, haha. Front office staff is pretty great and Melissa (?) who helps you with your insurance is always pleasant and easy to understand, which is great when insurance can be so confusing. I also just had a crown done on a molar, and I was pretty nervous about it. I had had a root canal done the month prior and it was just not fun due to how anxious I get (no fault but my own!). I asked them if there was anything they could do to help me, so I was prescribed some medication and that helped A LOT. I remember them being really sweet to me and even offering to give me a blanket and took their time with me. And! My permanent crown was done same day, which was really awesome for someone who definitely doesn't want to go to the dentist very often. Absolutely love their hygienists. They have been very professional and thorough. My first time going to this office I was started with a teeth cleaning and was told afterward that the dentist was ill and I had to come in on a different day for my exam. I found it odd, and figured they would have told me in advance if I could not meet with the dentist my first day in the office. Went back, as thankfully my schedule was flexible that week. Ended up getting fillings later that month or so. Went back for my most recent 6 month cleaning and again did not see the dentist after the cleaning because he was "running behind." I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance company and my insurance was charged for the prophylactic cleaning AND the dental exam which never happened. I think Dr. Sanchez is a great guy and he is very nice to go see. But he is super hard to go see. His schedule is very busy. And he has made some poor decisions about my own oral health. I had to get a root canal and typically you get the hole that they drill filled but Dr. Sanchez said that I did not need anything. Two years later that tooth has a cavity inside it and will most likely need to be extracted. It could have been saved had Dr. Sanchez used better judgement in my case. read more

Dr Sanchez and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all very caring. They know the meaning of customer service! Dr Sanchez, Paula the office manager, and the hygienist took their time to make me feel very comfortable. They were very gentle when working in my mouth. I've had other dentists that you leave the office with your gums bleeding and your feelings hurt afterwards for a very long time; not these people! The filling he did was perfection! Came in for a stay plate. I asked the receptionist/billing person to show me what it would look like. She showed me a small maybe two in stay plate so I payed got the molds done I was super excited to get it and it's huge it's for my whole mouth. When I tell them that that's not what they showed me the dentist acted like it was totally my fault. I explained that I was showed something different and he didn't care. I told them I wanted my money back and the receptionist/billing person got an attitude and said I would have to wait because she didn't have anytime. I payed with my debit card and they are saying they have to cut a check instead of just refunding me. She was very dismissive and rude stating that I would have to wait til she had time. So I'm sitting here waiting for her to give me something in writing that she will in fact refund me. I will update later. ****UPDATE**** The refund was not returned to my card I was told it would be refunded by check and I needed to come back for it. That is why I asked for it in writing since what I have been told by your receptionist before has proven to be misinformation and I understand that it was going to be mailed to me since I do not have the time to stop by and get the check so as of right now I'm still waiting for my refund. Hopefully it will arrive soon. ****Update**** to add insult to injury I received a letter stating that Dr. Sanchez was withdrawing from being my dentist. Because of various life "stuff", I haven't been to a dentist in probably 4-5 years. Last week, I had pain in a back molar, so I called Dr. Sanchez's office. My daughter has been going to him for awhile and highly recommended him and his staff. I called on Thursday, Nov. 30 and got an appointment for the very next day. I have some "dental anxiety" but on Friday, because of the pain in my molar, I was absolutely terrified when I went in for my appointment! ALL of the staff, including Dr. Sanchez, put me at ease. After the x-rays were done, Dr. Sanchez very gently checked my mouth and told me that he suspects my problem molar might be a fracture. (Dr. Sanchez has referred me to a specialist to confirm.) In the meantime, I went back to today for a cleaning and I couldn't be happier. Emir cleaned my teeth and it was THE best, most gentle cleaning I've ever had done. We discussed oral hygiene and a number of ways to improve a few things specifically for my age & health. I have another appointment tomorrow so that Dr. Sanchez can fix a few cavities, but believe me when I say I am 99% less anxious than I was just a few days ago.
