Guy with tazer and being verbally abusive in a parking lot.

Had an incident last Saturday where a man in the parking lot was verbal to me while I sat in my vehicle. I told him to go away, and he was kind of nutty and in turn he pulled out a tazer and started "cracking" it towards my window of my vehicle. I then backed up out of my parking space and pulled up the front of the building so I could be my wife out of the store. The guy with the tazer started to walk towards me ranting about something and "cracking" his tazer. I went inside the store and explained to the heavy set young cashier that I needed to use the store phone to call 911. At this time she said "NO". I then reached for the phone, and she picked it up before I could reach it. I was scared of the guy in the parking lot who entered the store with his tazer out. I asked if a customer in line would call 911 for me and about this time another employee handed me the company phone that he had called 911. I explained the situation to 911 and waited for law enforcement to arrive while I waited in the back of the store to avoid him. When law enforcement arrived, they immediately questioned his guy and took his tazer away from him. As I was waiting to be interviewed by law enforcement, the large chubby blond cashier flagged the lady officer over to her and told her that I assaulted her. I don't remember, but I guess my hand brushed against her hand when I reached for the company phone that she said I could not use. Tractor supply, If someone fears for their life and needs to call 911, don't deny them the use of the store phone. If this was your daughter, wife or father that needed to use the phone to call for an emergency and things did go badly, Tractor Supply would be at fault and a customer would have been injured. Teach your young cashiers about life and help when possible. Was a longtime customer and will not go back due to their attitude towards a customer in need. I would like to discuss this matter with a corporate manager, and they are welcome to call and discuss. The pic below is the guy with the tazer on the front of the sheriff vehicle.

We get our horse pellets, cat food, and parrot food here. Service is friendly and we appreciate the load outs by personnel to the SUV.

Why We Love It Here 1. Services Galore From full-service grooming to vaccination clinics that never charge a visit fee, Petco makes pet care easy and affordable for all our various (and continual) puppy needs. 2. Grooming: Tail Wags Guaranteed The ladies here are pawsome. While GSPs don't need a whole lot of grooming, we see our dogs' fluffier friends leave here tails wagging and owners smiling. 3. Training & Community Whether it's puppy classes or adult obedience, each of our pups--big, medium, and "will-sit-only-if-I'm-snacking" small--has thrived. And it's a comfort knowing they're learning from certified trainers. 4. Lastly, it warms my heart to see their pet adoptions. Knowing that local people are finding their new pals there and that the furry companions are getting a forever-home means the world to me and my children. My only frustation is that the lines can be a little long and it's not always easy to find help, but I try to remind myself that these people are not only caring for the community but also changing lives.

The concept is great and the facility itself was clean and well-organized. However, the actual experience did not feel as structured or controlled as expected. During our session, a much larger puppy chased our puppy, which caused her to panic, run into a wall, and urinate out of fear. What was most concerning was the lack of immediate intervention. The dog was allowed to approach her again shortly after the incident, before she had time to recover, and I had to step in and ask the trainer and owner for space. From what we understood, these classes are meant to provide "positive, controlled exposure" to build confidence, but the environment felt more like free interaction than guided socialization. Introducing toys and releasing multiple dogs at once seemed to escalate energy levels rather than create calm, safe introductions, especially for younger or more sensitive puppies. They finally had the bigger puppy sitting in a corner to calm down and our puppy was able to interact with a smaller dog afterward. However, this felt more like her coping despite the environment, rather than being supported by it. I believe this type of class may work well for more confident or experienced dogs, but for younger puppies who are still learning social skills, closer supervision and quicker intervention, especially when chasing or fear is involved, would make a significant difference. Overall, the idea behind the program is strong, but the execution of the playgroup did not match the level of structure and safety we were expecting.
