I paid $86.00 for the castration of my 1.5 year old kitten. After the castration, my kitten refused…read moreany kind of food or water for 11 days. After 11 days, I went to the clinic where the kitten was taken by someone and I was left in the waiting room. After about 1-2 hours, a man who did not introduce himself told me by phone that he would consult the kitten after I paid a certain amount of money. I told the man that the fault for the kitten's behavior was those who performed the castration, which led to the kitten's refusal to eat, and therefore it was their obligation to consult him and prescribe what was necessary. They refused to take responsibility, so for the sake of the kitten, I paid the cashier $135.00 after which someone brought the kitten to my waiting room. I should mention that the doctor did not invite me into his office to have a live discussion and in fact I do not know what kind of consultation or treatment they have established for the kitten. The fact is that when I returned home the kitten did not show any signs of improvement, which leads me to the conclusion that this kitten was only used to take $221.00 from my money. I do not recommend this so-called Humane Society to anyone. Send feedback

I was dealing with a hardship…read moresituation...after purchasing another toy schnauzer from a FL breeder who has a LIFETIME GUARANTEE, but when our vet found an abnormal liver test at 15 weeks...she refused to pay me my money back and would only give my another puppy but only certain ones. Her own vet told her the Ultrasound must be done, but she claimed the puppy was healthy. Needless to say Jeanette helped me recover my initial costs for the puppy, not for my vet bills all the vaccinations and the ears being cropped. The same vet that she referred me to for the ears told me to watch out for a liver shunt. Finally got the money back within a week 2 payments..per advise from her vet or they would stop doing business with her. Jeanette and Tom know their genetics!!! We finally got the heart to find another puppy, since not only did my husband and I loose a sweet little girl, but my other toy schnauzer was so hurt for days after returning the puppy. Jeanette even made a call to the breeder to find out about her pups and she tried to re-sell this sick puppy (no clinical signs yet). Told her the lady's work got in the way and she couldn't handle it. But lied that she invested in all the vaccinations and had the ears cropped. She asked for more money than I paid for her. We found a perfect match for us!!! and it was worth the drive and the money we paid Little Friends Schnauzers!!! You will not go wrong with them!! All there puppies are chunky monkeys and are so happy and loving!!! Take the drive and pay for QUALITY PUPPIES!!!! DON'T GET BIT BUY THESE SO CALLED BREEDERS THAT ARE REALLY PUPPY MILLS!!! 6 LITTERS AT A TIME...NO ONE HAS TIME FOR THAT MANY PUPPIES WITHOUT HIRED HELP!!!

I spoke to Tim/Owner, and he denied everything, of course. Rather than take responsibility for their horrific work, and harm to my dog, he was super nasty to me. Their complete lack of maturity and customer service was very shocking to me, and it cost over $200 in Vet Bills + the cost of grooming. I tried to resolve this serious experience with both Owners ... to no avail.

Historically Smith's Grocery store for many years, we were also here when they opened as a feed and Hardware store in 1980 then later renamed Antioch Feed and Farm supply. It's in a well known Historical building where a commercial film was once staged. This is the only such store anywhere near this community.
