Chiropractic services aren't just for humans!…read more One afternoon our normally very playful and energetic dog suddenly became extremely slow, and unlike himself. He suddenly had no interest in running and playing with his toys like he does all day every day or chasing us around the house, he simply wanted to lay on the couch. My wife went to pick him up to check on him and suddenly he yelped in pain and began to whimper. We immediately knew something was wrong and took him to see his vet Dr. Vargas at Orchid Springs Animal Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. Dr Vargas ran blood work to rule out any strange internal issues and found he had nothing showing out of range. Next she performed X-Rays and discovered he had an issue in the center of his back with the vertebrae spacing being extremely narrow right where he was exhibiting pain and sensitivity. Our fears were confirmed, he had injured his back. We know from past experiences this can be very painful for dogs and usually is only treated with harsh pain medications. Dr. Vargas offered us an amazing alternative instead of the traditional dangerous pain medications that can hurt the liver and kidneys with long term usage. Instead, she performed a chiropractic adjustment on our little boy! We live an hour from the practice, and by the time we got home from the visit, we saw an AMAZING difference in him. He went from walking tilted and sideways whimpering, back to his old self and was ready to run off and dive into his toy box to play (which of course we stopped as he's still on rest per Dr's orders)! We couldn't believe the difference this one chiropractic session made. It's amazing to see there are alternatives to harsh drugs that TRULY work. We highly recommend Dr Vargas and the Orchid Springs Animal Hospital for these services. We have seen firsthand that this type of treatment truly works miracles on our dog and is greatly increasing his quality of life without having to risk his health with heavy pain medication.

Finding a vet can be difficult. But this place was quick to take on a new patient. So far, I…read morehaven't had a bad experience. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and the most difficult part about the trip in is trying to get out of the parking lot and head home. When our dog hurt her paw, they were very fast to get her in to be seen. With the app, it makes making and changing appointments easy. And even their communication through the last hurricane was impressive. As long as we are i. the area, and continue to receive good care for our dog, we will continue to use this location.

They disregard pets that have been customers for a while and at the same time just keep on taking on new patients. Dr Gerena was my dogs Vet. She is like the Head of the clinic. She is so money hungry!!! They don't give a damn about your pets they just want your money. When I realized that I immediately called and asked that all of my 3 dogs medical and vaccination records be sent to a new clinic that I found. Now everything is as it should be. What a shame and disgrace. Most of the vets get into this profession because they love animals but that fades very quickly and it becomes all about the money!!!!

Since moving to the area we have come to this Home Depot on many occasions for big items and small…read morepurchases. I have yet to run into any employee who was not amicable or helpful. I have even had unsolicited advise, which turned out to be very practical. They pretty much have always had what I was there to buy, except on two occasions although their website stated they were in stock. Overall the prices are competitive, either a tad more expensive or less expensive than Amazon (and we all know how they've cornered the market). Although I prefer to shop in person we have had several items delivered, with their delivery service being very quick. The times we have had deliveries it was FREE to do so, which brings me to finally realizing I had not done a review for this place. Today I went in and purchased a few items, but forgot to get one of their 5 gallon buckets. After getting home and realizing this I went on line to see how much they were and they promoted FREE delivery this very same day. So I ordered one and added a 2 gallon bucket for shits and giggles. I was notified that there was a problem getting both delivered today and the order was split. The 5 gallon did show up this evening and the lowly 2 gallon is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. This was a very low dollar amount order to begin with and I actually feel guilty about it. They were going to lose money on this minor purchase to begin with and now it's an even bigger loss! Dangggggggggggggg :-(

They are healthy, study, well-mannered and have great personalities. I was looking for a good breeder when I found this one. It was all very professional and it was also very obvious that their puppies are NOT puppy mill puppies. I have no idea who this Jenny is that wrote the bad review, but she doesn't know what she's talking about. Belle is the first pup that we purchased from Evans and she will be the last. We have had five miniature Schnauzers, and we know what issues they have from a health stand point, so it has been very disappointing, that at two weeks Belle needed to go on Apoquel to prevent her scratching herself raw. At six months the vet discovered a cataract in her right eye. Far worse than this are the epileptic seizures that she started to have at 2 yrs. old. We fear the worst for our beloved friend. Sadly we fell for all of the hype regarding genetic perfection, I can only say buyer beware.
